I have been costumer for 3 years now. The staff at German Cer Repair have always been exceptional, every single time. The customer service has always been amicable, respectful and professional. There is not one single instance where they have charge me or recommend me additional "rapairs" my car suddenly needs. They look out after for every single one of their costumers, and treat everyone who walks in the same way.

They itemized all the repairments and their prices are fair in comparison to market rates. When I think about excellent business, with amazing customer service, and fair prices, German Car repair always comes to mind. Looking forward to my next car service

So, I only post the good stuff. GCR is a car guys dream for professional service and advice. Love this organization as they have it figured out. You book a appointment. They review your issue and then prove our solution for your sign-off. Amazing

My first visit was for minor service on a 911, several years ago. This visit was for several maintenance items on an older Golf. I am very pleased with the quality of work at the shop and the integrity of the business. I will definitely be back!

Marc Delifer and the mechanics are top notch. I used to take my car to G2 automotive (only a few minutes down the road) and I will never return again. G2 is the most unfriendly, least helpful, and greedy business I have ever known. GCR is the complete opposite. A team of complete angels, who are so unbelievably helpful it is crazy. I have had problems with my 2010 328i for months.

After taking it to G2 a few times, and having zero problems resolved. I decided to work on it myself. I fixed about 1/2 of the issues, and then became to busy with school to finish the rest. Gave my car to GCR for one day and the report they gave me is the most detailed report I have ever seen. It even includes part numbers and a description of the work they would preform. Marc, said I could work on it myself if I was car savvy enough.

The parts are reasonably priced, usually $10-30 more than you could find online. Still beats G2 who don't give you a detailed report, and end up buying the cheapest non-OEM parts but charge you insane rates. I love this place and will only use them from now on.

It was a pleasure bringing our vehicle here. The gentlemen at the front desk were professional and knowledgeable. I had to bring it back because a warning light for an unrelated issue was on the display. At no charge they diagnosed the problem and explained it to me. Trustworthy, professional, knowledgeable.

This place is run and operated by charlatans. Do not be fooled by Alan, the King. Should be called, "German Car Retribution." He talks a smooth game but investigate for yourself, please. There is no accountability from the owner to the service advisor team of only 2, and down through the technical team. He (arrogant) would rather fire a customer than to do what is honorable.

He thinks by returning my money is the optimal resolution versus doing what is beyond just returning the money. He should have fixed the problem instead of washing his hands. Here is why. The service advisors are not technically trained (and do not undergo annual mandated recurrent training of 80 hours) and are former car salespeople (look at their lame bios on their website) if that gives you any clue as to their motivation.

Watch your wallet! My car came out of their purview in worse shape than it had gone in. The owner "fired" me as a customer because supposedly I upset both Service Advisors during their failed attempts to fix my issue. He called my treatment "abuse." Sounds like an excuse to me. They improperly installed a piece of equipment and left a rogue piece of plastic in the inside of the rear hatch panel.

They refused to fix the issue supposedly because of my attitude when in reality, they are clueless as to what the problem was and did not take responsibility for their mistakes. I had been going to them for nearly two years and since I am now a terminated customer, I get to experience a refresh from another service provider. The owner did return my money but it cost me more to fix the damage they left behind so in effect, they stole my money. It is a lot wiser and cheaper to retain a customer than to find a new one. Industry stats state that one bad review leads to eight lost potential customers.

Treated very well. Auto techs did not try to sell me extra services. They checked my coolant and said it is good for another 10,000 miles. Very pleased with GCR. Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

Needed to have a professional inspection of my newly purchased Porsche before I had to make a final decision. They took care of me quickly giving get details about the condition of the vehicle and what I could expect of its useful life. Very professional, very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I'm a pretty hard-core car-guy - so I do almost all of my own work. Nonetheless, occasionally I need help with diagnosis, and these guys have been very helpful and honest. I've also sent several friends to them and all reported good results. They saved my sister ~$3k by nailing a diagnosis another local German shop missed. They aren't cheap, and won't cut corners - but they are significantly less expensive than the dealer, and essentially just as good. And honest - which is worth a lot in itself.

I recently moved to the area and was a five hour drive away from my mechanic in south GA. The starter on my S550 died on me, on a Saturday, and left me stranded. I called a buddy who highly recommended GCR. Rest assured my buddy was correct! Mark from GCR called first thing Monday morning to assure me they would take good care of me. GCR was thorough, diagnosed the problem and made sure there weren't other concerns. Their prices are fair and their professionalism is top notch! It's great to know I've got honest people to take care of my automotive needs!

Note: this review is for the new GCR South location which doesn't seem to have its own Yelp Page. I have a 2016 F80 BMW that is close to warranty expiration so I called Taylor at GCR South and he quickly scheduled me for an appointment for a "pre-warranty expiration inspection." This is similar to a PPI for those of you who have inspected a used car before purchase.

The new location is modern and clean with a nice waiting area with comfortable couches and tables. Coffee was available and the waiting area was spacious. The overall inspection took about an hour and a half to complete. Thankfully my car passed with flying colors so nothing to worry about before end of warranty. The inspection was quite through and included a check of codes stored in the computer. BMWs love to throw codes so I'm glad they were able to check that. The cost was quite reasonable and now that I am out of warranty, I will definitely visit GCR South in the future for all of my maintenance needs.

Was using the dealership and wasn't super happy, so I decided to try German Car Repair. They kept me up to date, were honest and provided good advice. Would honestly recommend anyone with a BMW giving them a shot.

Had major service and inspection done on older Porsche 911 where service records were light. Jerry W did a great job and Alan (owner) kept me posted on findings. Also like that they provided me a loaner car and that records are available online for future reference. Will return.

Great new and clean facility with great prices for car service/repair needs. On my visit Taylor kept me updated on the progress and showed me the pats that were replaced to show me the wear and tear. It's a great way to build confidence. I am a regular customer going forward for my German cars. Cheers!

After seeing a few suggestions for German Car Repair, in Apharetta, I wound up using them to PPI a '99 C2 Cab that I was interested in. I flew down for the PPI yesterday am. I had a great experience with Alan Kidson (owner) and Jerry Weiden (their Porsche Master Mechanic). Beautiful shop, friendly, accommodating service. They worked with the seller to schedule the work (the seller sent it in by towtruck) and agreed to hold it in the shop over the weekend for pickup Monday. Unfortunately, the PPI ended almost as soon as it began, with a number of issues identified right off the bat.

Before going any further, Alan and Jerry brought me out to discuss the issues, their required or potential solutions (some of these items were not fully diagnosed, but simply identified) and to make a determination to stop right then and there (at no cost to me) or to continue. I chose not to continue, the car was not what I expected. They had no horse in the race and could easily have gone through the whole process without giving me the option.

They appear to be straight shooters and professional. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone looking for a PPI in the Atlanta area. So, a big emotional roller coaster (I woke up yesterday like a kid at Christmas), a waste of my hard earned frequent flier miles on a pretty last minute trip, but I took the opportunity to check out 4 other cars in the area after the aborted PPI, got a bit of an education, and found another likely candidate, too.

Just had a major service performed on my 2005 545i. The mechanics specialize in German cars and the tech who worked on my vehicle was extremely knowledgeable. I am very satisfied with the staff and level of service I was provided. The shop is clean and organized. A loaner vehicle was provided while they worked on my vehicle. I will continue to bring my vehicle here for all service necessary.

I have a VW Jetta TDI, and I have had bad experiences at other mechanics because they don't take time to understand the intricacies of my car. But Nick and his father were amazing! They were so thorough in their diagnosis, and really went above and beyond in their inspection. Upon picking up my car, they showed me the new parts under the hood, explained how it had caused the problem, let me test drive before paying, and even showed me the damaged parts that had broken. After getting in my car, I noticed a few things they had fixed without even charging me! They were honest, fair, thorough, and I will most definitely be going back!

I discovered German Car Repair about 2 years ago. I had gone to the MB dealership and was informed that I needed new brakes. They wanted over $1,000.00. I called GCR and booked an appointment. I let them know that I would be waiting for the vehicle. I went to the office, got myself situated and began working. About 20 minutes later, the owner came out front and asked me why I thought I needed brakes.

I told him the story. He said, I DID NOT need brakes at this time. They brought my car around front and did not charge me 1 penny! I was so floored by the honesty, I became a customer for life! The entire staff is honest, caring and through all of my years of working with various dealerships, i have never had anyone tell me I did not need a costly service. Go to German Car Repair.
