German Car Garage

This place is legit. They have have great prices and don't charge you a ridiculous amount because it is a high end car. We used to take our car to another place with was cheaper then the dealer. Then I checked for a close place on Nextdoor and this place came up. Not only were they closer, they were half the price for an oil change then my previous place. The owner is honest and explains in detail what they are going to do. Highly recommend this place!

I came here to get a 2nd opinion on an issue I was having with my car that I was quoted $1200 for. When I called and spoke with Al he had informed me that theirs no way that the issue I was having costs that much and to bring my car in and that they would do a no charge diagnostic. I dropped my car off and they took care of an Uber getting me to work while they looked at my car.

They informed me that the issue with my car was a bad sensor and that the cost would be $20! I was so relieved with the good news. Moving forward I will be bringing my car here not only was the service excellent but they are trust worthy and that's most important especially as a single female dealing with her car.

I took my 2017 Golf GTI in for a 40k check. Bill let me drop off it off after hours and had it ready the next day. Price was fair while the service was outstanding. I recommend this shop to anyone with a German car. Services: Painting, General repairs & maintenance

Overall I have to give this repair shop a 10/10! Absolutely amazing bill and his team of auto mechanics are truly one of a kind! It's really hard to find a honest mechanic that will not try to Rob your bank account when they have the opportunity to do so. The pinpoint the major issues and tell you what needs to be done before damaging will occur in your vehicle and what will be damaged if not fixed!

Also tell you things that you could wait on service wise that are not a huge slap in the face or concern. They also show you the issue with your vehicle if they could plus diagnostics completely free of charge which is a major Plus! If trust is a concern take it from me no need to worry they got your back.

Bill and his staff have always been extremely helpful. It is not easy to find a qualified, honest mechanical european auto garage. I perform most of my own work in my cars and it is easy to figure out my limitations that is when I only go to German Car Garage, I highly recommend them. Bill is a true professional and treats his customers like family. He fixed/replaced my rear brakes and replaced the water pump on my Mini Cooper. He even went above and beyond and replaced some broken lightbulbs and topped off the fluids. When it came to the bill, there was miscommunication regarding the total cost. In the end he was understanding and didn't charge me for the water pump service. Overall he did a wonderful job and comes highly recommended.

Great for servicing Volkswagens, get my passatt serviced here and occasionally repaired. bill knows what he's doing and the technicians take care when servicing the car. never ever get it back with scratches or drirty finger prints on the interior.

Had a fantastic experience. I am new to the OC area and by chance, came across this garage. They were able to help clear a transmission fault in my 530i and Bill refused my offer to pay for his service. I highly recommend these guys. What a refreshing experience.

Bill is an outstanding individual. Great advice and great service. Have known and worked with German Car Garage for many years and have always been pleased with the outcome. As soon as you are out of warranty, there is no better option for service on a German car. Very highly recommended.
