Very responsive and reasonably priced service. Hard to find a good mechanic these days. I recommend these guys.

Dodge 1999 ram 3500 Diesel Dually. Took truck in for sluggish to failure of Clutch pedal and water pump replaced. Rocky was very knowledgeable and would give updates in a timely manner. 100% satisfied with work, price, and communication. I'd go back and recommend services to anyone. Parts not on hand so be prepared to wait a bit. From time I dropped truck off to getting it back was about 1 week. Considering it looked busy and supply chain slow downs.

I couldn't be Happier. Thanks Rocky! I am always skeptical of repairs especially since a few years ago I had a fuel pump go out. Took truck to dealer and wanted to charge me 10K. Thanks for diagnostics dealer. Went and bought my own fuel pump (5K) took it out and could have replaced it same day myself. I wish I would have seen the Garage first!

Tom Horgan and mechanics were life savers when my family and I were stranded due to a coolant system issue that disabled our vehicle on the way home from a trip to Arizona. They bent over backwards to get us back on the road, despite having a full load of appointments. They were able to see to the scheduled folks and still get to us by end of day. Thanks so much for rescuing our family.

BAD BAD SERVICE! I made an appt for a tire rotation, but was told they were so busy that they might have to keep my car overnight. (in other words an appt is not really an appt) I said, if that were they case, I would need to get my car and bring it back the next day. That didn't happen. When I called 2 mins after closing they didn't answer the phone, so I was stranded overnight without a car.

At 4:30 pm the next day, I called to see when my car would be done. He said at 5:00. I said I would need someone to pick me up and he said the girl who does the pickups goes home at 5:00 but he would see what he could do. At 5:15, I called to see if someone was coming to pick me up. Thank goodness it was a different person who found someone to pick me up.

When I asked if the mechanic said anything about replacing the lug nuts, he said yes, they needed to be replaced. I said, do you do that here? He said, yes. I said, then why weren't they replaced? He said we didn't have time. Really? I then explained that I didn't appreciate the fact that they stranded me overnight and then almost stranded me again over the weekend.

His response was "We are not obligated to pick up our customers" Really? Needless to say, they are not getting another dime from me, and I hope others will read this and take their cars elsewhere.

I've been taking my vehicles to The Garage for nearly 20 years. They have never let me down. If you call to make an appointment in advance, you will get: - a close estimate in advance so that you can make an informed decision, - service that will either be completed in the same day of early drop-off or your car returned within 24 hours, and - mechanics who know your car, what it needs, and how to the job with precision.

If you have an auto emergency, i.e., your car has inexplicably stopped working and you need it fixed, you will: - need a way to get you car to the facility; - have to wait while the problem or problems are diagnosed; - receive a detailed response from Hector explaining what has been found, what parts are required, how long the job should take and a close estimate of the cost so that you can make an informed decision.

The moral of the story is that you must trust The Garage for ongoing care and service of your car so that emergency service can be prevented. Make an appointment for your car, save time and money, and you will live happily ever after! PS. All the people on site are extraordinarily patient and kind. Hector is the absolute best, though!

Good group of guys working here. Honest individuals that do good work. I came in to get a sensor installed and they had it done before the end of day.

Look no further! 1991 Ford F-250 (and similar), this is your repair shop! Another local nationwide chain completely screwed up my old F-250. I spent months fixing everything I could figure out (catalytic converter smog pump, MAP, TPS, Idle control, electrolytic capacitors on ECM) but it would still stumble badly at steady speed. Mike (Big Mike) has owned a couple of 1980s Ford pickups and clearly knows and loves them.

They found a fuel-corrupted oxygen sensor and then went the extra mile to re-do the other shop's spark plug work and my F250 is back and running even better than it was before the other shop messed it up. The Garage is my shop from now on.

This is my car maintenance/repair business of choice. Took van to get tune up done and the work done was minimalistic, the quality of the spark plugs and engine coil cables were ignored when asked about after the work and the check engine light (that had just turned on that morning) was ignored. Disappointed in this set of work.

I came back to a dead car battery after being gone for 7 months and The Garage fit me in same day of phone call and changed my oil to boot. They were fast, courteous and great to deal with. Very professional. I had the opportunity to watch an interaction with a challenging customer and was impressed by how it was handled. They will get my business and I have recommended them to all of my Albuquerque friends/relatives.

The Garage team did a terrific job on lots of issues on a 2005 Chrysler 300 Touring. Purchased new & driven by me 5 years, I gave it to my son, who drove it for 12 years. Moving to Albuquerque, he purchased his 1st new car, and I bought the 300 back from him. After researching for the best-rated, auto repair shop in ABQ, I called & Hector Morchel managed a bumper-to-bumper inspection & renovation of the car-remotely!

The car required 12 tasks-and the right parts! Aaron politely retrieved the car from my son's home. Hector, & manager Chris DeLong, assured tasks completed on time at fair cost. After the holidays in NM, I drove1,600-miles back to Atlanta, GA in 4 days. All was just like the car rolled out of the showroom 17 years ago! Cannot recommend Hector Morchel enough for his patience and tenacity to complete a remote "renovation!"

While in Albuerquque on vacation my car was broken into thru the driver's door. It caused my locks on that side of the car to malfunction.it kept locking us out. We did not have time to wait on the car to be repaired as we were driving back to NC on a time crunch. The Honda dealership had not opened yet for the day so I just picked The Garage "out of the hat ".

I'm so glad I did! The gentleman I spoke with ( I didn't get his name ) did his best to tell me what he thought I should do without even seeing the car and it worked. He advised me on what to have repaired when we get home, to inform hotel managers on the way back that the car will be unlocked, and even apologized for this happening in his state. I can't say enough good things about this man; The Garage is lucky to have him. I wish I could take him back home with me to take care of my car.

I'm currently driving from Oklahoma to San Diego to surprise my mom after coming back from my deployment. I needed a quick oil change due to the longevity of the drive and all members help me get back on the road as fast as possible. I am absolutely great full for how kind and professional was and I would highly recommend their service if you live in the area or need a quick fix. Thank you.

These guys saved our trip. Thanks again! Our cooling system broke on our long trip and we were in big trouble. We came to this store only 30 minutes before closing. Although they were super busy they prioritize our repair and did it very quickly so we could continue in our trip. Thank you very very much!

I want to start by saying I do a fair amount of work on my own vehicles, and when I ran out of things I could fix, The Garage took AMAZING care of me! My jeep was towed for free from my house. Adam, the towel truck driver was incredibly kind, pleasant, and very professional! He got my Jeep on the tow truck safely the whole time talking to me about what he was doing.

After just over a day they called me with a diagnosis, with potential other issues if that wasn't the cause. I authorized the work, and I got a call a few hours later that that was the problem, the Jeep is now running, they took it for a test drive to make sure it was running well! The Jeep is not running smoother than it has in a decade! Hector was courteous, precise, and extremely professional! I highly recommend The Garage and will absolutely use them again in the future! I had to have the radiator replaced in my '02 Escort. From the tow truck driver to the lovely lady who drove the shuttle, everyone was kind and professional. And the repair: a little over $500 and I had my car back the next day. Y'all earned every one of those stars, and you now have a repeat customer for the life of my car.

Had used service many year's ago, and was good. But, recently I had a problem with my injectors, wanted to have them replaced because, engine was flooding out, and bass running into exuast filling up. I know the injectors on the driver's side was the problem. But, instead of changing them out, something I would have gladly paid for. They did not listen, and tried to start, and did not let cycle, till cranking stopped.

This wedged the started gear, into flywheel! Locking the engine up, and causing open circuit, in ignition. I just fixed that problem myself! They told me it was a broken valve, and that I would need a new engine for 8 thousand dollar's. When the van was running, although poorly, I drove it out the tow truck, when they picked it up. Well, they didn't even look at the problem I wanted them too.

Then locked it up, causing electrical problem, that drained my new battery. They could have disconnected the terminals to prevent any more damage. But, they did not! So, when I got it back, it had a dead battery because, they locked it up, and just walked away, leaving the circuit engaged! I disconnected when I saw the problem, and are now doing the job, they did not, after paying then a total of $362.00 plus another $80 dollar's, to hire a tow truck, to bring it back!

I will update this post, once I do the work, they did not, and I will be driving it over there once done. I'm not happy with the current service. I have grown up in the auto repair business, and this was not right!

I have taken 3 of my vehicles to the guys at The Garage. Liked the way they treated me, so sent my mother as well. They do quality work for half the dealership cost. They don't prey upon customers, like me, who don't have a clue about vehicles. They tell you what needs to be fixed now, what can wait. If you give them enough notice, they'll shuttle you to work/home.

After our car would not start, we asked our neighbor, who is a mechanic to just take a look. He diagnosed it as a bad alternator and told us it would be between$500-$600. We called around to see if we could find it cheaper somewhere else. I felt that from previous experiences with the alternator that it was not the alternator but a battery or starter problem.

The Garage said they could tow our car in as long as we got a diagnostic test done for $45.00. That to me was the best idea but my husband was hesitant. I am so happy we did. They did the diagnostic and found it was just a bad battery. They said we could buy a battery cheaper somewhere else and they would put it in for us charging us only $95.00 for labor, including a free tow and diagnostic so that is what we did.

The total cost for the battery plus the labor only from The Garage came to $245.00. We are more than pleased with everything they did and getting us up and running within a couple of hours. After this experience, we have found a new place for ALL our automotive needs. Thank You guys so much. Terry & Sara Tyler

We were visiting the Petroglyphs when our car started making a weird noise and smoking. We were able to get to The Garage which was one mile away. They got is right in and figured out the problem even though their schedule was full. Our car was under warranty, so they got us an appointment at the nearest dealership, helped us get our car towed, and then gave our family a ride to the dealership. They were amazing. Ray was so very helpful! Awesome place with great service!

I was in a tight situation as my car broke down on the way from Phoenix to Denver. I brought my car in at 7 am and these guys spent the entire day working through problems on my car so I could make it home to see my family. I have never met a more honest and people oriented group of mechanics. If you're anywhere in the Albuquerque area and need your car repaired, I highly recommend you take your car into The Garage to get it fixed!

Took my truck to get brakes and rotors done and at the last minute decided to have them install glow plugs. I must say the staff at the garage where speedy courteous respectable and knowledgeable in the automotive game.

Overpriced! THEY tried charging me$595 Labor and freon, to replace AC compressor On a Sprinter Van.(I had the new commpressor in hand just needed replaced.) Shoul be $300 AVOID AT ALL COST, Guy that was quoting me was not friendly. Acted as he dont want the Business.

I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 that I love. My wife keeps telling me to trade her because she has 186K mi. on her. But I really love my truck but last week she made me hot (my truck - not my wife!). The AC was blowing hot if I was idling and wouldn't get cool until I drove her for 10 min. I have to wear a suit to work and I was ready for a divorce (from my hot truck.not my hot!) I took her to The Garage this morning and they diagnosed her and repaired her the same day.

A new condenser fan and I'm sitting in my driveway shivering from how cool she is running. You can trust these guys! They have a new customer for life plus I can walk there from my house which is an added bonus. You won't be disappointed and no the owner is not my Father-in-Law. Trust me!

I have a 2011 Ford focus with a five speed manual transmission. The clutch pedal assembly broke and I took it into get fixed. They gave me a fair quote, quick service, and provided a one-year warranty. Within six months the clutch assembly broke, not due to labor but mechanical failure by the manufacture. I had it towed there and they fixed it, picked me up and drove me there to pick up my vehicle and told me it is still under the original warranty. Outstanding work and excellent customer service.

My 2000 Dodge RV conversion van puked its' transmission 80 miles outside of Albuquerque. AAA towed me to The Garage. I admit that I was nervous to have a major repair so far from home but I didn't have much choice. My transmission needed to be replaced. Chris Delong, the service manager, was confident and competent. I felt comfortable leaving my RV with him.

I rented a car and returned home to wait for the repair. It took about a week to complete the job. During that time, Chris kept me in the loop on their progress. I picked up my RV yesterday and drove it 600 miles to get home. The new (Jasper) transmission functions much better than the original one ever did. These guys took great care of me. They did everything they said that they would do and their work was exceptional. They even offered a 2yr, 24000 mile warranty on their work. If I lived in the Albuquerque area, this would be my garage. Thanks Chris! You guys are the best.

When I first came to this shop, my car would stall. Now, after conducting business with these folks, my car stalls and I have no money to get it fixed. Poor turnaround, lacking customer service, over-priced and dishonest. If I ever needed to give you an example of the mechanics your parents warned you about, I'd point you to this shop. Buyer beware! Update: less than 2 years after the initial repair, I had to replace the fuel pump.

The new mechanic informed me that it was never changed. When asked about this, Ray (the manager) simply said "it's our word against theirs." This shop is full of Fraud. Buyer beware!

I had a wonderful experience at the Garage. Was just going through town when my starter went out. I called a few spots and Martin was so friendly on the phone that I decided to check out his spot. Everyone was super nice and knows their stuff. I would definitely recommend this auto shop to friends.

I had them tow my car as it was free towing. I will never take my car here again! Originally thought I had an alternator issue, turns out it was a bad battery (even though Auto Zone said it was fine). They call me and tell me its going to be $800 to replace the battery and the "ignition switch linkage" for my car because it won't turn over. My was starting for me fine when I had the battery jumped the day before I had it towed. So, I looked into the issue online and it is a $50 part that is very easy to install on your own.

I told them this and he said it wasn't that part it was the "linkage" but I researched the issue online and it is a known issue with the ignition switch itself. Now I am being charged $300 just for labor and a battery installation. Something I could have done at Auto Zone for around $100. Complete rip off!

We love this little local shop. One note for the owners if you read these. I hate to say it but hire a better receptionist. "Heidi" if that's her real name. Is awful! Do your business a favor get a better, more friendly "face" for your great business. Take care

Tim and James are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Returned my mother's call very quickly and went out of their way get her car in and returned fast.

Wonderful shop. My husband took his Toyota 4Runner in for AC issues. They found the problem very quickly, called us quickly, and repaired it promptly. We will return and recommend them to anyone!

We developed a problem in our 2000 Ford 150 van driving from California to Arkansas. I found good recommendations for The Garage on Yelp, so called them before we reached Albuquerque. They were very gracious and agreed to take a look even though it was after 3 pm. It turned out our differential was shot. We were given a quote and told they would try to have it ready by the end of the next day.

They called a motel for us, let us get into the van for our belongings and drove us to the motel. The next day, they picked us up when we had to check out at noon. To our surprise the van was ready, so we were able to continue on our way. No hidden costs. All above board with good communication throughout our dealings. The garage was not only staffed by wonderful people, it was clean and busy! We really hit the jackpot with this garage. If I lived in Albuquerque, these would be my mechanics. We are very happy campers!
