Many people ask why travelers leave their homes and head to different destinations. Others wonder whether travelers get lonely. Well, after speaking with a friend of mine that loves to travel, he came to tell me that people have different reasons to travel, but there are reasons why more people are becoming travelers. He tries to take time off 3-4 times per year to experience different cultures, he owns his own company out in Southwest Texas called MT Gutters, so he can do that, but if your ever in that area, you can hit him up on his website by visiting here at www.mtgutterssa.com.

Have been going there for many years for inspections and repairs. Have always been pleasant and repair costs reasonable.

Warning to car owners needing general maintenance. I have waited a month to post this warning as I wanted it to be informative only instead of angry like I initially felt. I took my minivan to Sunoco on Franconia Road just down from the McDonald's for its regular oil change last month. I have been using this station for years for low level maintenance and inspections.

I had the oil changed on a Monday and my van started making awful noises on Thursday am. Thankfully, I had only driven 30 or so miles in the days in between. When we checked the oil, there was none on the dipstick. We called a friend, whose a mechanic to check behind us. He confirmed that the lack of oil and went on to checked under the van. The under carriage was covered with oil with the source being the oil filter.

We added two quarts of oil and drove it directly to the Sunoco station. They said they would immediately work on it and let's us know. The Manager assured us he would get to the bottom of the issue. Two hours later, I was told the oil change was complete, no charge and come get my van like nothing negligent had occurred. When I asked, the manager in a rather rude tone informed me the problem was torn seal in the oil filter allowing for a leak when the van was running.

It wasn't his mechanic or shop's fault, it was a oil filter defect. He went on to say that it happens in about 20% of the oil filters. He offered me $5.10 for the two quarts of oil that we bought to get the van there and a discount on a future oil change. As if the possibility of our returning there exists! This is just one incident but I believe that you as my neighbors should be aware of the potential that your car could have a potential catastrophic engine failure secondary to being part of his 20% known failure rate

Rude and grumpy inspector. Punches side mirror saying the mirror is loose. The mirror has been like that for many years without issue.
