I can't begin to say enough good things about the services this shop provides. I've been a customer of theirs for a pretty long time but every trip still surprises me with their knowledge, honesty and professionalism. We have bought our last four vehicles from the dealer side of the business (Auto Focus) and last night (a Friday night) my son's 2011 Hybrid Camry popped up with a dead 12v battery.

I know a battery doesn't seem like much, but this happens to be a battery that is not commonly carried by the "automotive box" stores and we were being referred to Rice Toyota. Already I'm dreading this trip to Rice (nothing against Rice, but let's be real), so of course I don't want to do anything without going to Foreign Accents even though the shop is closed.

I know the dealer side, Auto Focus, is open and I wanted to swing by there just to get some advice. Without making this review way too long, 90 minutes later my son's car had a battery in it and he was back on the road. We were very fortunate that Randy of the service side of the business was in and was willing to help out. The shop was obviously closed but he still took the time to go through all the steps and double check everything and made sure to explain the what's and the why's of what he was looking at. Again, this is not a normal battery nor is it a normal swap out, but he got us done and out and I can't thank him enough. And for what it's worth, Jennifer always takes care of us M-F and is absolutely phenomenal too. Everybody in that shop is just the best at what they do.

A little over priced but overall had a good experience. My salesman was very nice. They missed a few problems with the car I purchased though. The woman at the counter is a little rude when coming in for service though.

Received a PrePurchase Inspection on a vehicle I was interested in purchasing. They checked it out top to bottom inside and out and gave me everything they found in a printed out document. They test drove the vehicle as well. Exactly what I needed. I would definitely recommend if you need a PrePurchase Inspection!

Foreign Accents has been taking care of my vintage 1992 Volvo 240 for over twenty years. I was recently in to have my front rotors & brakes replaced. They also replaced the transmission gasket, filter & pan to repair the fluid from leaking. Scott & Randy still run their business the same way they have for over 40 years. They value their customers and give the best service possible. The whole team works to ensure that each customer receives the best possible care

I was charged $493 for 2 spark plugs wires to be swapped and told I would need a part that I didn't. I'll never deal with Foreign Accents again unless its in court. I gave them 1 star in order to make this post

We came here through a family referral and didn't regret it, we were treated like family ourselves by Randy the owner and all of the staff. Everyone had a smile, checked on us while we waited. They turned a horrible day into a better one by being so kind, and made sure we knew about everything they were doing to look at our car and find out what and how much it would cost.

We can't praise and appreciate enough the service and respect we got not just as customers but as people here, and would -highly- recommend using this shop for your car needs. Thank you very much, we appreciate you!

Not particularly impressed with three quality of work they produce, nor the speed at which they produce it. friend of mine took her car there to be repaired when it was recovered by police after being stolen. $2700 and NEARLY A MONTH LATER i took her to pick her car up and there were parts detached laying in the drivers seat and wires hanging from the ceiling, not to mention the mechanic gave her the brush off pretty much everytime she called, giving her several different excuses as too why it was taking so long.overall an unprofessional and unsatisfying experience

Have an old Lincoln that needed lots of work. Called and scheduled an appointment and when I got there they asked what exactly I wanted done. Super understanding as I know nothing about cars! God the job done in a timely manner (got my car back the same day)!

We have brought everything from our beloved crossfire to the kids jeep compass here. We ALWAYS get an honest assessment of our vehicles. They don't suggest repairs unless they are actually needed to keep your car running like it should. They have always been professional and courteous.

These guys are nothing short of amazing. They've fixed my Subaru trans and my Toyota with ease and at better pricing than dealership cost. Everyone is polite and informative. Most importantly to me being a female, I've not had to worry about them bsin me on repairs nor trying to take my money. That happens often but not here. Thanks guys.

I spent over 6000 to install a new engine and fix air-conditioning. I had my vehicle towed back 3 times, to fix it, they charged me each time for the same issue, which wasn't occuring before the new engine. After the 4th time the vehicle wouldn't start I took to my local mechanic who fixed it for good. In addition, my air conditioner still doesn't work.

Foreign Accents just did something that I thought was unthinkable in car repair world -- provided service for free! We took our car in after experiencing a death rattle that got worse and worse until we could no longer ignore it. As with many car issues, we mentally prepared ourselves for the worst -- would we walk out with a bill for $1,000? $500?

Who knows? When my husband called for an update, they let us know that the lug nuts on the back driver's side tire were unbelievably loose and they just needed to be tightened. They let us know they would just charge us for the labor. We let out a sigh of relief -- the mystery cost ended up being better than expected -- maybe $150? But then when we arrived to pick up the car, they let us know no need to even pay labor. This was an unexpectedly gracious offer, and one certainly not expected from a car repair shop. They have definitely earned our return business.

Just had my first service with Foreign Accents on June 5th. They were very friendly and made a point of introducing me to Tom, the mechanic who serviced my car. Jennifer, the service rep, seemed very knowledgeable. Although they suggested a few additional services, there was no undue pressure. Foreign Accents is much larger than it seems from the front view on West Market. They also provided free rides home and back to the garage to pick up my car.

I wholeheartedly recommend Foreign Accents to anyone in the Triad area with an import vehicle. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable without ever being patronizing. The customer service truly is stellar. They're happy to take your call, provide updates, and they even provide a courtesy shuttle! In terms of their work (because that's where the rubber meets the road), their mechanics are experts in a variety of different import vehicles.

Their parts and labor rates are completely reasonable. Repairs are done well with a fine eye for detail. Moreover, they have a sense of integrity unparalleled in the industry. This seems to be one of the few shops that understands that if you treat people well, tell them the truth, and do a good job, you build a loyal customer base and ultimately make more money than if you try to rip people off!

On our most recent repair, they ended up completing more work than had been authorized. However, when they called to let me know, they kept to their original quoted price. Many other shops would have tried to slickly pass along a more expensive invoice. This shop stands by their work and stands by their word. If you have an import car in the Triad, this is your shop.

We are new customers to Foreign Accents, long time friends of ours have been customers for years and have always told us about the excellent work they do. We had an unexpected issue with our car and decided to take it to Foreign Accents. SCOTT knew immediately what had caused the problem and explained it to us. We are happy to say that they did a wonderful job fixing the issue. We would recommend them to everyone. Jim and Barbara

I bring my Subaru here for regular and major maintenance. Chuck is a master and just a very kind person that I can trust to give me honest and reliable service. The staff are efficient and willing to help how they can. I appreciate the fact that they will drop you off at work and come pick you up if you have to leave your car with them. It's my understanding that they have master technicians in most foreign car brands. Would recommend.

7/25/17 I was driving to Winston-Salem from Greensboro for a back surgery appointment and a very kind man caught my eye & informed me I was missing my back right tire. I followed his to Discount Tire where he happened to be going and missing my MD appointment, I drove home with 4 new Michelin tires and info that the spiraling of the tire had cut some wires and my check engine light on.

I drove straight to Foreign Accents where I have received excellent service in the past. Jennifer, Service Advisor, greeted me her usual smile and professional attitude. She advised me that Chuck, their Subaru Certified Mechanic, was unavailable but reassured me Foreign Accents would take care of my baby, a 2002 Subaru Forester by the end of the day on 7/26.

Much to my surprise she arranged for Owner Randy to drive me home. He smiled and listened as I talked his poor ears off. At mid-day, Jennifer called to let me know the emission wiring and some other mechanic language stuff had been taken care of. In that I was nurturing a broken foot and a broken back, she understood that I'd rather pick up my girl on 7/28 with no problem.

Driver Kent (who remembered me as I was his 1st customer on his 1st day of work) arrived lickety-split to drive me back only to find out the front right wheel of his Subaru had malfunctioned and killed his car. Awaiting a tow truck, it was only minutes later that Jim, a Sales Associate arrived to drive me and the driver back to the shop. John, a mechanic was able to fix my car using old parts from a car in the back kept for the sole purpose and saving me a small fortune.

As Owner Scott showed me the car and all the extra work they had completed at no additional charge, I couldn't help but smile thinking of the terrific attitudes and team-work of the Foreign Accents' team. I paid Jennifer a very equitable price with a Bosch credit card she had helped me obtain my last visit which was costly beyond my means to pay. Driving home, I marveled at what a great place Foreign Accents is for their customers complete with Wi-Fi, a clean restroom and a clean and comfortable waiting area with free drinks and goodies for anyone waiting.

The team was so efficient, there was no waiting this visit. I highly recommend Foreign Accents who likes affordable car care by a highly expert team who made me feel like one of their family. They adhere to the premise that without customers they would have no business, so go out of their way to consistently give excellent service. And guess what, I learned they sell cars too and work with prospective buyers to give them the best possible price and affordable pricing options!

Go Foreign Accents' team. You absolutely rock! I assure you all of their customer's agree as they are always busy but still take the time to make you feel as if you were their only customer. If you've never been there, I highly recommend you give them a try. I guarantee you'll be as happy as I was. Sincerely, Vicki Vance :)

I've taking my BMW To a (what I thought was) trusted mechanic for about 2 years. Each time work was done to the car the bill was at least $800 or more! I was at my wits end our mechanic told us that not much they could do just have more frequent oil changes then usual. My husband called foreign accent the lady on the phone was very informative and advise if they couldn't fix it they will let us know so they wouldn't waste our time.

The cost to fix the car along with the leaks was last then $400. My air conditioner been blows colder air! I was so happy with the results So guess who is my trusted mechanic Now! Thanks for the awesome customer service!

We have been bringing our cars - Lexus and Mercedes currently - here for many years. Foreign Accent's people have been careful in explaining the problems and cautious in recommending expensive repairs. We trust (and like) the people who work there very much. We have also bought 2 cars from them. The servicing is superior to a dealership which is run by a large, not local, corporation.

This is an exceptional auto sales and service center. Totally professional, friendly, comprehensive and trustworthy. Highest marks to the whole operation! And if you have a British sports car it likely needs the TLC and expertise that Tim will give it. My 1971 TR6 is in outstanding condition because of him. Lynn Stone

I have been taking my Subaru to Chuck at foreign accents for years! I would not trust my Subaru to anyone else! The staff is very welcoming and accommodating. I never feel pressured to buy something that is not needed. The staff is very honest- I had a dealer tell me I needed new breaks but when I took it to Chuck I was told they are still in good condition and had several more months on them. Bottom line- if you have a Subaru or any foreign car bring it here for service!

Seriously one of the best places to get your car looked at and fixed. They are extremely knowledgeable, fair, and very reasonable price wise. They have a nice sitting area with couches, chairs, desks and WiFi not to mention beverages and Keurig coffee! They are an all around auto shop, with great customer service and A+ service.

When I first moved to Greensboro in 2004, I had some really bad experiences with the local Nissan dealership - overcharging, unneeded work, etc. When I started a new job in 2007, my new boss was a German car fanatic who restored BMWs in his spare time. I asked him to recommend a good repair shop and he told me he wouldn't go anywhere else but Foreign Accents.

Almost 10 years later, I've never had a bad experience there - my wife, my mom and most of my co-workers take there cars there and I've never heard a single complaint. The work is top-notch, the prices are fair and they always come through. Really honest people who do a great job.

This business is run with an incredible amount of respect for every individual. Several months ago after shopping around at various used car dealerships, I purchased my Honda from Foreign accents. I could not have been more pleased with the respect their salesman showed me. I did not feel pressure to buy any vehicle, but felt that he showed me the best options for my price range and what i specified i wanted.

Several months later, when the differential on my car was having some problems, I brought my car in to the shop and Randy, the owner and his brother Scott continued to treat me with kindness and explain to me what they were doing with the car. They fixed the differential, rotated my tires, and replaced transmission fluids, as well as test driving the car.

At the end of the job, I was happy to pay the bill, but Randy insisted not to let me pay because I had purchased my car with them so recently. Because of the age of the vehicle when I bought it, I signed no warranty! Randy was not obligated to do this, but he was respectful because the people at this business are genuine and are not trying to cheat or manipulate you. I don't understand how there can be negative reviews considering the respect i have been treated with!

Randy renewed my faith in people as he fixed my daughter's broken dash and power steering fluid at no further cost to us. We had taken her Passat to them on several occasions and were not pleased with their customer service, but after talking to Randy, the owner, he made it right and did the repairs for free. A big thank you to Randy!

Very pricey, was told my alfa needed work that did not need tobe done at the time as i got second opinion. Beter off joining a car club and getting a mechanic to work on your alfa or fiat/porsche.

It feels good to find a shop that is open, honest, does good work and prices fairly. I've been using FA for a several years to perform scheduled (and some unscheduled) maintenance on my 2003 Boxster. Never an issue and always fair and helpful. Recently, our 1997 maxima needed front axles replaced. Unfortunately, the replacement parts that come from overseas do not work as advertised.

The guys at FA tried 3 different manufacturers and installed and reinstalled the axles each time until it appears we finally found a winner. During the whole 4 month fiasco, FA was professional, friendly, easy to work with and really showed themselves as a top notch partner. Stuff happens and it's a good business that works to recover after an issue as even harder than they do on the first try.

In my book they certainly deserve of a 5 star rating. The repair business is a challenge and there should be extra credit awarded to a shopithat lives to their commitments, supports repeat cusotmers and cuts a break on service and cost once in a while like Foreign Accents does.

Rip off. Ordered extra items without consulting me. Kept car for 5 days without updating me on progress. $1300 later they finally figured out two wires were crossed by someone who I bought the car from. Honestly think they took advantage of me because I'm a girl. Poor taste. Worse karma! 1973 280SL.

Yes! Yes! Yes! If you have a vintage European car, this is the place for you. They actually have a resident BRITISH car mechanic on staff for all your Jag, MG, Rover, Triumph and Austin Healey needs. Hell, if you have a Jensen, he can work on that too! I sent a friend of mine up there first, he was our guinea pig. He had a Porsche Boxster that smoked so much on start-up, the EPA always came in to name the parking lot a Superfund Site.

All of the Porsche mechanics in the area suggested a complete engine rebuild. this includes the Porsche DEALER in town. When we got to Foreign Accents, the Porsche specialist came out and listened to the engine for, oh, like 5 seconds and said it was the oil return valve (at least I think he said valve). He fixed it that day and viola, no smoke. And I mean no smoke.

The only way you could tell the car was running was by the sound of the engine. At this point, I built up the courage to let them work on my Triumph. I drove the car there and gave them a LAUNDRY LIST of stuff to do - three pages worth of stuff I couldn't do on my own or didn't have the time to do. They got it all done in less than a week and that included ordering parts.

So then I let them tackle the air conditioning rebuild. Now the thing gets so cold on the inside during the summer, I can't run it full blast. Perfect work. If you go there, you will see a car lot packed with car marques from all over the world. From Ferrari's to Saabs and everything in between. They are that good and that busy.
