Ewing BROS Auto Body & Towing

My moped was stolen and then recovered by metro, who then scheduled a tow with this company to take my vehicle into impound. When I showed up I asked to see the vehicle before having it released to me and the woman insisted she was going to "do me one better" and showed me a picture of the moped and claimed there was no damage. We paid almost $300 to get the vehicle back only for it to be literally falling apart, with no engine.

They are liars and thieves themselves. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Also, LV metro police are useless and shady for doing nothing to help me, but instead help this shady company get a tow.

If your car was stolen and you unfortunately were forced to deal with these people like me I am so sorry. if you have a choice please stay away you will thank me later. Jen was so rude and can barely speak I don't even know how she has a job.

Took them over 4 months to do a paint job and and after finally giving them a hard date that we needed to pick up the car we show up to pick it up and the paint job is horrible. The colors don't match, there chips in the paint, lint or dirt that got painted over and they forgot to paint on a very big important detail to the car. 0/10 do not do business here for anything.

I went and bought a car through the auction there. Did it at the silent auction. After I had won the bid I went to pick up the car that Monday. And someone had went into the car remove the radio and several items. I was told that the issue would be investigated have heard nothing back and was told that I would have first choice at obtaining the car for lesser after the investigation was complete and did not get hear anything back.

I would not recommend business at that establishment. I have bought several cars from that place over the years. Buying cars as is it's already difficult enough without the Staffing on board stealing items off of already purchase vehicle with possible issues. I don't know if this is turning into a scam or if this is the new Norm either way it's unacceptable in business. I had to wait over 4 hours for reimbursement. I guess at this point severing ties and cutting my losses is the best that I could do.

Towed my vehicle from accident. Went to their yard within 90 minutes. Tool box was broken into and tools from inside were stolen. They were real jerks about it. NEVER AGAIN, use another company.

Lindsey was so friendly and very helpful, especially when dealing with a stolen motorcycle she made the process that much less stressful. The ladies in the front went out of their way to help us thank you so much. Lady with curly hair too. Really grateful for them!

They impounded my stolen vehicle (I have an event # with metro) and then waited to contact me to make sure that the towing bill was higher then the vehicle is worth to try and force the vehicle to go to auction. This is consumer fraud so beware the company does shady business practices. I would never recommend them.

This is where Las Vegas metro takes cars that they tow which I'm 100% sure is a different jurisdiction from Las Vegas. So why would they take my car 20 miles away to North Las Vegas and the people working there BREAK INTO YOUR CAR! THEY NEVER HAD MY KEY! THEY BROKE INTO MY CAR, PUT MY PARKING BREAK ON AND TOWED TO WHILE IT WAS ON, ( Which severely damages your car) AND TRIED TO SEARCH MY TRUCK WHICH IS STUCK SO THEY PUT THE BACK SEAT DOWN TO CHECK WHAT WAS IN MY TRUNK! THANK GOD I TOOK ALL MY VALUABLES.

Who knows, maybe metro is helping them by taking all cars there no matter how far you car breaks down so they can search for valuables and maybe even split it with the their metro buddies. Oh how I wish I had camera in my car so I had proof. No wonder they don't even have 2 stars on here

They will steal anything they want from your cat as soon as it is on their lot. They do their best to deny you access to your vehicle. This entire industry needs a major overhaul in policy, regulations and oversight.

Unfortunately I have had to deal with Ewing Bros 3 times. I was not my best me during these visits. However, each time, the counter people remained professional, the guys that get your vehicle were quick, and all my belongings were as they were left. Thank you for making an uncomfortable situation quick, and painless.

This is the trashiest towing service ever! My car was damaged by these people when they towed my car, I was told to file a complaint and they would get back to me in 3 days and I NEVER received a response. The staff is rude and nasty and they all seem to hate they're jobs (which is a personal problem) if you don't like your job, get a new one! Don't be rude and nasty to literally everyone that walks in!

The ceiling inside the office has mold and is literally falling apart. When I went to pick of my car the printer inside the office broke so they couldn't print my proof of registration and refused to let me get my car even though the printer not working had nothing to do with me! I had to come back later and PAY EXTRA to get my car because they work in such a old run down dump. If your car is ever towed by these people BEWARE! They are shady and miserable and don't care about your property AT ALL!

The tow truck people destroyed my car. I am contacting an attorney. My car was completely wrecked by them. They smashed up the whole front end and hood and the side of my passenger side door is crushed, the door will not even open. Never ever trust this tow company!

Ewing Brothers Towing rescued our 35ft converted bus from the top of a hill in Lovell Canyon. They gave us a good price, great service, and excellent advice on getting her started again - worked like a charm~! A shout out to drivers Keith and Richard and Carissa on dispatch. The miserable ass heifers that work here are so rude and unprofessional on top of being scam artist! Horrible customer service! The go into cars and steal from you as well! The charge you way more then what it says online and it's the fat bitches working the counter and answering the phones that do it! Their BBB rating is horrible too. Do not ever use them for a tow!

My trailer got impounded which i paid for to get out no issue. I had a trailer coupler lock and they damaged my trailer since they could not tow it the correct way. Dented my jack stand cover which also cracked my paint and scratched my tool box. Should have not been towed if the trailer did not know how. Company does not take pride in their work and hires rookies as drivers, shows you the difference between a company driver and an owner operator. Trash company and should cover damaged done to my trailer here are the before photos and after.

Completely ridiculous. Kept my windows down, had cats running all through it using the bathroom in my car, insanely disrespectful. Cost $270 base price +$32 per day to get my car out.

Shawn was so helpful to me! He was waiting for his next call when I pulled up to ask for recommendation to get my 95 RR window fixed. He jumped on his phone to get me help. I will always use them to tow from now on. You can tell a good company by their employees. So A+. Thanks again!

My car was towed by the police. Not sure if it was the police, or the employees here, but my bag was cleaned out of all my cash. Only suggestion is to "file a complaint" that we all know won't get resolved smh.

This place is run by bullies and crooks. Jr is extremely aggressive and treats his guys like garbage. They hold your vehicle hostage while they barrade you with insults. I dont know how this place is licensed.

THEY ACTUALLY ANSWER THEIR PHONE! They got out their promptly, driver was very friendly, and rate was what I was expecting to pay. No hidden fees, rates, etc. exactly as advertised. Thanks for making a stressful situation better.

Had fender replaced. Parts were there before I got the truck to the shop. New parts painted and installed in a day. Price was more than fair.

If you are arrested in Las Vegas and your car gets towed away, this company will tow your car to a location and not report that location to the station in which you may be released from. Once you are released from jail, you will have to search all over Vegas for your car. Each yard is about 30 minutes in distance from one another. A 30 minute drive in Las Vegas traffic can equal to over an hour of just travel. That's if you are driving to the locations.

Each day, after 5pm, there is an additional $50 fee added to your storage charge. I searched 8 hours for a friends car. I was told that they had the car in their possession. When I called to the actual towing yard where the car was, I was told that they had not received the car that I was looking for. That was a lie. The car had been there for 2 days already.

After being lied to, I had to drive to each of the towing yard locations to ask if the car was there. I got the same response from each towing yard. Once the clock hit 4:50pm, all of a sudden the car was located 30 minutes away from the last towing yard location, where I had just left from. I was given the runaround's by this company. I was forced to waste a lot of time and gas, trying to figure out something that they should have taken care of from the start.

The staff here has a really bad attitude. Talking to customers as if they are imbeciles. I had to bite my tongue in order for me to not tell that lady about herself. Each day that they can turn you away, they will be adding the additional fee of $50. They will give you a BS reason on why you can't pickup your car today. I literally saw a guy in the building trying to explain to the attitude having woman, that his wallet and ID was inside the car.

The woman said they couldn't go into his vehicle for his wallet and kept repeating that the man needed his license to show proof that the vehicle could be released to him.(How can anyone show proof of ID if their personal information is locked up on your site?) To me, this is their way to scam visitors and local citizens of Las Vegas with tow yard charges and fees.

My car got stolen during our trip to Vegas. The police found the car 2 weeks later and towed it to this Ewing Bros lot. We came right away the next day to pick up the car but was welcomed by this asian lady with glasses. She asked us for the registration, which was in the car so we provided her with the DMV vehicle history report, which was totally acceptable but she straight up told us NO, that we need to have the car current registration.

So they went to search my car and couldn't find it. We were exhausted from the drive and all the waiting so we contacted DMV one more time and they said the vehicle history report is the only paper we need to show them. So I told the lady that but she got angry and kept insisting that we had to have the registration card. At this point we were so tired with her already so we decided to talk to another clerk and she helped us out right away and we got our car within 20 minutes.

I understand the place is very busy and chaotic all the time but if you don't know anything or don't understand something, please go ask someone who knows. Don't just turn people away because we are just there trying to get our cars back, it is frustrating enough for us already. If you guys go there, try to avoid the asian lady with the glasses. She doesn't know anything but acts like she is the boss. Such horrible person. And if the manager cares about customer service at all. Please retrain this lady.

Horrible service. I had a flat tire in the middle of the night. They told me I would have a truck within 30 minutes I called after 30 minutes, was told another 15 minutes Called again. Another 30 minutes When I expressed I was getting scared being a single female the lady told me to stop her driver was driving the road twice, which I pointed out was a lie since I was near Nelson Nevada and her driver was on the spaghetti bowl.

I called them several times to see if there was a specific time I needed to come by to pick up my car in order not to accrue any additional fees. No one ever answered. I got there about 4:55pm and waited for someone in front of me by the time I got served it was past 5pm and I had to pay an extra $35. I told them I was here and I called and called but the lady said she couldn't do anything about it and they were having an issue with their phone. If I knew I was going to be charged extra I certainly would have come earlier. Disappointing customer service!

My car got towed on the 14th, I LOOK IN MY GLOVE DEPARTMENT and my engagement ring I had hidden was TAKEN! They left the box and they left the receipt. Whoever did this is LAME AND A BUM!

Had to give one star to be able to post. I give a zero rating! Every single person I spoke with except one was rude. I was put on hold mid sentence. Sat on hold multiple times and by the time I had an answer it was 2 hours later then the first call I made. My car was stolen and metro recovered it and brought it to this horrible place. They said I can't see my car unless I pay the fees which my insurance is paying and towing my vehicle to a repair shop for inspection.

I just wanted to see if any of our belongings were still in the car and to see if there was any significant damage. I have my keys title registration everything! The worst is how the staff treats its customers. There is zero reason to treat people the way they do. We are going through a difficult time as it is and to then be treated like this is ridiculous. I will refer NO ONE here and will make sure to let Nellis AF base know to tell military to stay away from this business to.

Worst place ever went to pickup a car and the car wouldn't start. Had to pay extra to get it jumped but it was there fault. Customer service when calling the office was horrible. When called to confirm price I was disconnected and called back then put on hold for 25 minutes. They get no stars from me.

Our car was stolen and even tho it took us 3 days to get it back due to some paperwork issues and us living in victorville. The staff was awesome. Thank you!

Absolutely awful place. Lame service with exception of one young gentleman that walked me thru the lot. Office ladies need either to like what they're doing or quit. Customers are not guilty for their frustrations

IThe woman (African American) at front she lost our car registration!(car from Arizona) When I found out I called and she went crazy over the phone yelling! She did not even asked my name or what car! I explained her the car was from Arizona and she yelled well go to an Arizona Kiosk then! When I asked her why she was refusing to help me she hung up!

I called again asked for the Manager and she yelled tomorrow at 8 am I asked the manager name and she said Manager! I asked her to transfer me to someone who was there to help me and she hung up again! Be very careful before you leave the office review your Documents and your car belongings! I know her position do not require Education but atl least be responsible with your clients Documents!

Critical: Quality Staff was stuffy and when they didn't want to talk they say they are putting the supervisor on the line only to be placed on hold and never return to the line. No one picks up after that. Repeatedly doing the same thing because they didn't want to help. Terrible customer care and not professional at all. Service: Local hauling

Called Ewings for roadside assistance on 09/06/2021. They stated a driver was on their way and that it would take one hour. Called to confirm driver was on his way 30 minutes later and they confirmed they were en route. After one hour and 30 minutes from original call, I called the driver and they stated they were no longer coming. If you commit to a job to a customer, the expectation is that commitment is fulfilled. I had to call another company, which did come in their stated time frame.

Ewing Bros towing has since contacted me about the damage. They have told me that they reviewed the security cameras and they are taking responsibility for the new damage. I was very impressed by their action. I am working with them to resolve it. I only bumped them to 3 stars for now. I will update as needed and add stars as needed. So far so good.

Thank you Ewing Bros for stepping up and doing the right thing. I am sure everyone that has a car towed by the police for what ever reason is pissed when the get there and I don not envy their task of getting yelled at and cursed at by angry people all day.

Pulling Range Rover forks fell off numerous times and fork lift driver kept on going backwards while car was falling off forks now I know why my bumper was ripped off when I picked up my vehicle before. all tow yards are the same so this review is for all tow yards. they're all unsupervised by any authority and they have full authority to do what they want once they have your vehicle on their yard.

First grand theft auto then they auction your car if you dies from your accident or whatever your car is in there for. crazy how they can do this. imma start my own tow company and only tow - tow vehicles lol see how they like it

This Ewing towing is just that, Disgusting There front desk service is Unprofessional rude they hang up on you, It blows my mind, these people have are vehicles My fathers truck was stolen and the police finally found my dad's truck, it is in this towing yard, These people have the nerve to not even let my father see his truck.

He was told he has to pay first. Before he can even look at it. Would if its not running or banged up, he's on fixed income At least give a person a opportunity to see there vehicles, it wasn't his fault his car was stolen. Bad bad business.

They were contracted by Hertz to do a car swap for me. After hours of back and forth a rep from ewing calls me at 5:06 pm to tell me the driver is on the way. By 6:47 I began to call and was put on hold for over 20 minutes and was finally told " I don't know what to tell you" by the nasty rep who answered. It is now 7:30 pm as I write this and the car is still not here.

So I don't know where it is and can only assume it is not coming so guess I will be calling the nevada transportation authority and filing a complaint. Post pandemic business have really gone to crap. And this is one of them. UPDATE: at 8pm Carlos the driver calls to tell me he is on the way. Over 3 hours late. When I asked what was going on he gave some B.S. story that he was waiting at hertz for the last hour, and when I told him dispatch said at 5pm he was on his way, he changed his story.

Bottom line he lied. I would be willing to be that when he was at hertz at 5 and they had him waiting he left to do a few tows and finally went back at 8 cause there was no money in my swap These people are ridiculous

Management not good people. Gave my truck to someone else with fake title after I reported stolen. Called me 3 days later to tell my Me my truck was recovered. 2003 Gold Toyota tundra. I still don't have my truck.

Iheard my truck was towed there. When i called they released to someone else. I was never in formed that my truck was there until 3day. I went in to see.anagement and All the manager said to me was I got a civil siute. Wow poor business. 2003 Toyota tundra gold.

They steal everything out of your car. Nasty people. LVMPD should be embarrassed about working with them.

After a close to fatal accident I went here to get some items out of my totalled car and the woman at the counter could not have any less sympathy or customer service skills. Seriously? These awful, inconsiderate, lazy, lying, inhumane counter woman -2 - could not care less about helping anyone but themselves get off the clock.

They were behind in processing everything and tried to push me off till Monday or at least the next shift. They gave me the run around. First told me my car wasn't there, then when I checked online they told me it wasn't ready because they were doing the paperwork.this was 4 hours after it had been checked in. They said check back in an hour, then tried to pull some other bs to have me come back later. Needless to say I eventually got my stuff from my car after dealing with them for 4 hours, after my car had been checked in for 6 hours and literally it was because I was persistent. Disgusting service- I have never experienced such insincere and blatant disrespect in my whole life. Beware if your car gets towed here.

I was persistent on getting items out of my car because the last time my car was towed here- it got stripped. Everything that could be stolen was stolen before I could ever get to it. To the angry, unempathic woman who work here- I am sorry for you and whatever you have going on. Ill pray for better days for you. But please stop making other peoples lives hell because you can.

Complete abuse of authority. Yes- hopefully my car will never get towed again- but when you get hit by a drunk driver and your being rushed to the hospital- they dont exactly ask you where you would like your car taken.

It's not there fault my car got towed but they really helped me in getting it back Amelia was super helpful she helped me get all the documents I needed in order to get my car back and was really patient with me and trust me I've been to other towing companys before and they didn't even compare to the Ewing bros I highly recommend this company

1 star is too many! The worse business I've ever had to deal with! Crooked and deceptive! My 21-year old Honda Accord was stolen, less than a month after I moved here. A week or so later, I was in the shower when the Las Vegas Police Department (LVPD) called. The voice message was, they'd found my car, and I had 30-minutes to call them back, before it would be towed.

I called them -- 19-minutes later -- and was told my car had already been impounded. Long story short. without providing my registration to supposedly prove I owned the car, these jerks at Ewing Brothers wouldn't allow me any access to it. As I explained to them, like most car owners, the registration was IN the car. To say the least, their customer service couldn't have been any worse, from the minute you enter their office and see the nasty signs plastered all over the reception area.

They obviously could care less. Knowing they have you between a rock and a hard place they were rude and condescending. It's all about causing delay for as long as possible. The longer the delay, the more money they make. These guys are in serious need of oversight and regulation. At $40 a day, it was costing me a small fortune, and it would take the state of Washington at least 30-days to provide me another copy of the registration.

There was heavy damage to the interior, do the math. I never saw my car again. Ewing Brothers has a license to steal your property, and to further victimize victims. AND they get to do it with the cooperation of the local authorities, including the LVPD! Absurd, moronic and pathetic! Makes one wonder how they can look at themselves in the mirror!

No one comes here having a good day, but every time I have to come here, everyone is super nice and helpful. It's a shame I gotta watch peoppe project their anger at these folks. 5 stars, super helpful, the car was taken care of spectacularly. They helped me enough that I'm even bringing them lunch, 100% because amiela made this whole visit possible and got me my baby bavk

Great fucking way to be treated. Especially when the people here are dealing with issues from a car wreck that potentially wasn't their fault. Also the lady put my friend on hold for 20 minutes, would check to see if someone was still holding but wouldn't say anything.
