After I took my Mustang to a Ford dealership and they could not hear the sound I was hearing, I found Eliot's. Eliot treated me like an old friend, not a number or a dollar sign. The issue was found and resolved quickly and came in under the estimated pricing. I was impressed by the quality of communication and work done. Thorough and thoughtful. I saw positive reviews and thought to give Eliot a try. I was very impressed with his professional demeanor and the time taken to look over my car. Furthermore, explaining what they looked over and if there some things needed in the future. Eliot was open with costs and timely each and every time. Neighborhood feel and very trustworthy!

Elliot is a nice man but overpriced, $300 service fee for a job that probably should take not more than one hour. Came in to fix my drivers window and left with my drivers door not being able to open from the inside when I have NEVER had issues opening my door in the 2 years that I've had it. I don't even want to bring it back to fix the door even though he's the reason it doesn't work now because I'm afraid he'll charge me or mess something else up because my door was working perfectly fine beforehand. I sadly wouldn't come again or recommend. This job shouldn't have been more than $200 yet I had to pay almost $500.

Eliot did a great job replacing my rotors/pads on my Infiniti Q50. He was able to accommodate me quickly for service. Costs were very reasonable considering the parts my car needed. Eliot's is by far the best shop I've ever been to. Eliot is very straightforward, honest, and helpful-when my dealer told me I needed to replace all my brakes I took my car to Eliot for a second opinion and he told me I needed to repair the rear brakes but the front had a good couple of years left and since then I won't got to any other shop in Chicago. Two years later the front brakes are still fine and I know Eliot will let me know when it's time to replace them. Thanks for the amazing service and support guys!

You can tell right away Eliot is an honest, straight-forward guy. Good conversation too. I took my car in for an oil change with no appointment and he had it completed quickly and charged half the cost of the prior establishment I went to. Bonus, there's a good hot dog joint down the street for while you wait. Definitely a repeat customer.

I bought my first car as an adult last year and was looking for someone to check my oil. I searched on Yelp and Google and I'm so glad I found Eliot. I've taken my car for a few oil changes, tire locks, and an inspection before a road trip and I've been happy each time. Eliot's prices are fair and he's honest about the work he's doing. He turns the work around quickly and is always very friendly.
He also doesn't make me feel dumb for not understanding things about cars or for needing help backing out of his garage and I appreciate that so much. I will continue to come to Eliot for years to come!

Edit: Eliot even checked in with me to make sure I was happy with how the car ran following my appointment. Plus, I just got a thank you note in the mail with a coupon enclosed! I cannot express how above and beyond their service is. I had a lovely experience here. Eliot is patient, fair, works quickly and is very friendly. I will be returning when necessary.

My car broke down on the side of the road one night. I got it towed to Eliot's shop that night, and by 9am the next morning, Eliot had already diagnosed the problem and called me to inform me of the cost and to ask if I wanted to proceed. Price was reasonable, but i had several major repairs needed. Eliot had finished it by the afternoon. I was so impressed with the quick, quality service and professionalism of Eliot. I will be recommending him to others.

My 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe developed a knocking noise in the front left side. The vehicle has over 118,000 miles so I figured it was a worn part in the front suspension or possibly a faulty C/V joint. After Elliot looked for the problem he informed me that all of the lug nuts on the front left wheel were loose. What a relief. I was expecting to have a costly repair bill.
I very much appreciated the honesty and genuine concern for the issue at hand. Also, Elliot recommended new air filters. The Santa Fe is running like new. I NOW HAVE A NEW MECHANIC! And. Elliot's shop is minutes from home.

I had a nail puncture my back left tire during my commute to work. I live near Eliot's Auto so out of convenience, I stopped in to see what they could do. Within 2 hours, Eliot's team repaired my tire. The team is professional and timely and their work is done well. Just recently, my tire pressure light came on so I popped back over to have them check my air levels and without hesitation, Eliot told me to drive on in. 10/10 recommend Eliot's Auto!

Eliot and his team were so helpful and friendly. They took care of my car as if it was their own and it was a judgement free zone!
