Do NOT use this place! Our truck was stolen and once found Charlotte PD chose this dumpster fire place to pick it up and store it. We live out of state and could not make it back for two days to pick the truck up. When my husband arrived there was not any body damage or any flat tires. It was stored there 5 days. When an outside transport company delivered our truck, there was body damage and a flat tire. The driver has photos to prove it was in that condition when he picked it up.

Customer service is terrible. Company purposely gives repair shops a hard time when trying to obtain your vehicle. They do this to bump up your storage fees. Any time I called to ask any type of questions, they were very rude and constantly rushing me off the phone. Please note the Company only takes Cash and Certified cashiers check. Keep in mind, I did not choose this place. Police had my car towed after an accident and gave me their business card and address. Will never use the company again, and recommend others to find another place.

It is the worst example of a wrecker service. Their business ethnics and practices are absolutely unprofessional, unfriendly, rude and disheartening. The staff is rude and can't have a friendly conversation. If you need a wrecker and the police departments tell you that EastWay is towing your vehicle, Ask for another company. STAY AWAY. After having my truck towed, I tried to go take some personal items from my vehicle.
The guy running the desk was an unprofessional, cussed at me, tried to be difficult and even lied multiple times. My truck is being handled with m Insurance company and they have made if difficult for the repair shop to get my truck. Stating they have never heard of another wrecker service that's been around for 50+years. They make it difficult and it will cost you out of pocket even though you're having your insurance company repair your vehicle using a repair shop that they have approved.

Terrible company. Had to get a row from my apartment to the repair shop about 1 mile away. They told me the driver would be there in 45 minutes tops, he took 2 and a half hours. Then they tried to charge 500$ for that tow, and if I didn't they'd take the vehicle to their lot and make me pay to get it out. Absolutely ridiculous, I've gotten tows a similar distance for a fraction of that. Avoid this company, they try to scam you.

Worst scam ever. I called Eastway Towing and got a quote of $185-215 to tow my motorbike to a location 4.5 miles away. The dispatcher said 45 minutes so I provided my credit card information. 2.5 hours later, and after having multiple calls dropped and countless lies on ETA, GD Towing showed up. Once the motorbike arrived to the final destination, the driver asked for $400 in cash despite our phone quote and even asked us to go to an ATM at midnight. We had to haggle our way down back to $250 and provided our credit card details to this company. What a sham and a horrible experience.

I missed the signage and parked my car in a tow away zone (after 4pm). 100% my fault. Nice enough folks. Then again. they did tow my car while I was in a meeting, and then charged me $150 four days before Christmas. Kind of a jerk move. Still. nice enough. Two stars. Would not want to have happen again.
