As a family owned and operated business, Frisbee Auto is dedicated to providing quality automotive repair and vehicle maintenance to the Ellis County area. Prior to that, Don and Jo Ann Frisbee served with Wycliffe Bible Translators for a period of 17 years. Don's primary focus at Wycliffe was managing auto repair facilities both overseas and in the states. With many years of experience behind them, their goal in starting their own business was to run an honest, reliable, guaranteed repair service.

We are a dealer for Yeti Coolers and keep a wide variety of cooler sizes in stock at our Waxahachie location. We regularly order from Yeti Coolers and can take special orders for any size cooler and all accessories they offer. In the end, the functional purpose of a cooler is to keep the contents cold.

Frisbee came highly recommend to me when I was looking for a Toyota mechanic. I have a 24 year old Land Cruiser that I use to explore some of the most remote areas of the US. They corrected many items that were not up to the task and many that were just worn past the point of dependability. They are some of the most knowledgeable Land Cruiser mechanics in the nation. I will definitely be using them for all of the future repairs on my vehicle.

These people over charge! $1800 quote for a 3 minute fix. Ohh and base charge $200-$300 for their required inspection. A few months ago I saw their Diesel sign and asked them to see if they can take a look at my turbo exhaust clamp because I replaced the high pressure oil pump myself and believe that the lack of performance is from this I can also hear the air escaping from the turbo area of the engine.
The guy at the countered insisted that he had to perform a full inspection before they can do anything to my truck. I declined because I don't use my F350 that often and it was certainly still drive-able. Two weeks ago as I was making a run to Home Depot my truck was starting to loose power momentarily like every few seconds. I drove my truck straight to their shop and told them what was wrong.
Again the guy at the counter insisted on performing a full inspection before he can do anything to my truck. This time I agreed. First he said the inspection was 200.00 and then someone else walked in and said it was 300.00. I told them as long as we can get the truck fixed I should be a happy customer. The inspection covered Dash warning lights, gauges, AC/Heater, Exterior lighting, wipers, batteries, oil level, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, drive belts, pulleys, radiator hoses, coolant level, coolant pump, air filter, etc.
So unless you do an inspection with them for 200-300, don't bother coming here because they will not help fix what you ask them to fix. They have to throw this additional charge at you. Here is the best part. Their recommendation was to install proper battery hold downs, clean battery cable connections, repair wiring to alternator, replace alternator, drive belt, and retest for $1800.
These guys wasted my money and my time. I fixed the damaged alternator cable by crimping on a ring lug. Do not come here unless you want to throw your money against the wind!

Frisbee Auto is family owned and they will treat you and your vehicle just as they would family. They are the best mechanics I've experienced. When my vehicles go to them I know the work is done professionally and correct. And a bonus is your vehicle is shiny clean upon pickup. I trust them 100% and recommend them to everyone. I called and set up an appointment to bring my truck in for alignment on May 6. Was quoted 150 for the alignment. Seemed high but I need it done before my tires were worn uneven. Dropped my truck off the morning of my appointment. I advised them I hit a bump and my steering wheel is now off and it pulls to the right. Fast forward a few hours I get a call they did a "courtesy inspection" on my truck and it needs 3,200 in repairs in the front suspension before they could do an alignment.
Something seems off about that since my truck only had a little 15,000 miles. Needless to say I didnt spend 3k in repairs on a brand new truck and I advised them I'd be picking it up. But was still required to pay 150 dollars for this "courtesy inspection" I never asked for. Took my truck to a reputable shop in waxahachie and had them do an inspection on the front end and they found the upper control arm bolt that adjust the alignment was loose from the pervious shop that did a lift kit.
Highly wouldn't recommend Frisbee automotive. They tried to sell me 3k in front end work on a brand new truck that only had a loose bolt. Makes me question if they even looked at it or they just recommended everything just trying to fix it.

I was in town visiting family and when I got to town I had a loud noise in the front end. Thought it was a CV joint going out. I did not have an appointment, but these folks took the time to check the front end out and find it was only part of the shield above the wheel that had cone loose. They were very friendly and there was no charge for their time! Outstanding service!

I use Frisbee Automotive to maintain all my vehicles. From the comprehensive multi point inspection, to their attention to detail, their is simply no better shop in the Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex. They go over the vehicle health report with you and you can tailor the work to your budget at the time. They also use factory replacement parts, not the junk that you can get from some of the popular auto parts retailers. I find Frisbee Automotive to be outstanding in the service they provide and the information they share. I know exactly what is going on with my vehicle and what they are doing to service it. They have gone out of their way to accommodate me and have even provided a ride for me to and from work. They are local, highly skilled, and impress me with their service every time I go in. Customer service hands down the best you will find. Met me after hours to drop off truck for repairs. Kept me informed throughout the process. Washed and waxed and cleaned the interior as part of their normal customer service when you bring your vehicle in for a repair or service. Great owners. Nicest folks you can meet. They will forever have my business.

Great service and really knowledgeable. Always have a great time when I have to take my vehicle in for service. Great job servicing and the detailing they do at the end is fantastic. My favorite thing they do is a multipoint inspection with pictures and suggestions they send to you through text as a document regardless of what you come in for.

These folks could not have been more helpful. A great family owned business that I would recommend for anyone passing through this area. They went above and beyond their job duties, helping me get to know the lay of the land (find good food and a cheap hotel for the night) and got my car up and running. 5 stars easy
