My back glass was smashed to pieces on Saturday. The national competitor wanted a TON of money to fix it. I called Charlie, at 9 a.m., and he assured me that he'd have the black glass for my car ready to be installed within the hour. Sure enough, not only did Charlie have the glass ready, but he had the car ready BEFORE an hour. This blew me away, because the national competitor told me they wouldn't have my back glass until Wednesday.
The competition also wanted $120 more! If you're within an hour drive of Charlie's Matrix Auto Glass and Tint, then you'll be very pleased with their service, and the very friendly family that takes care of the problem.

I recently had an autoglass emergency with my older car. Charlie the owner was very gracious in every effort to help me regain my windows integrity. This was so important to me due to changing weather, and the type of area I live in. Because my car was so old he had to call around to different suppliers to find just the right part to repair my window.
Most people in the industry would have given up long ago, not Charlie! Although, I had to return to his shop which he told me up front I was able to get a quality affordable window repair job. Charlie has been in the business of window repair and tinting for a long time, he knows his windows and he is usually able to get you an answer in a timely manner his estimates are affordable and go toward the repair in most cases.
The shop is older so the back door to the repair department does make noise, so if your sensitive to that be aware especially if you are a military veteran that is familiar with the sound of impacts. I recommend Matrix Auto Glass, make them your first stop if your in need of a window repair or tinting today! You will be glad you did!

The windshield in our car was hit by a rock and developed a 15 break. After our car insurance agreed to pay for a replacement I had Matrix come to our house to do the work. Staff showed up exactly on time. In 1 hour he was finished. A few weeks have gone by and the work is perfect. No leaks, no noise. Matrix did exactly what needed to be done to replace the windshield.

I had my 2019 f150 front windows tinted and they did a fabulous job. And they back their work 100% had a couple bubbles show up and they replaced it with no questions asked. Would definitely recommend to anyone. All their staff are very nice and respectful to your property. And last thing the video game machines are definitely worth checking out alone. My kids loved it

Will not recommend for commercial vehicles. Had a windshield replace stared leaking within a week. They took a look at and said it was fine. Month went by. Sure enough during a rainstorm it leaked. Called said it's not their responsibility it's a bad seal and is expensive. My truck is a 2020 1st replacement. My old truck replace over 7 times never had a seal issue.
Just went thru a truck wash and it started pouring in. Will have to replace seal hopefully windshield can be saved. Stick with experience semi truck windshield replacers. Like safelite.

Highly recommend this shop! About an hour west of El Centro, CA, at 10:30 am, my wife gets hit by a rock and shatters the windshield. I call multiple auto glass shops in Tucson, AZ, in an attempt to have the windshield replaced while traveling through. After multiple failed attempts, either because the windshield is unavailable or the techs are booked, Matrix Auto Glass & Tint saved the day. Charlie and a second associate (I apologize for not remembering your name) were quick to answer the call, find my windshield, answer all my questions, and make themselves available to replace my wife's windshield.
He even offered to stay late to help her out. Once my wife arrived (3:15 pm), they insisted on driving her to a local restaurant while she waited. After less than an hour, the Jeep windshield replacement was done and they picked her up. My wife and I are extremely impressed with their service and highly recommend this shop. My wife also added that they were complete gentlemen when greeting her, insisting on transportation to the restaurant, and by opening and closing her vehicle door.
On a side note for all Jeep owners, Matrix Auto Glass & Tint offers a Gorilla glass for jeeps. Our Geico auto insurance covered the replacement as long as I paid my deductible. The cost of the gorilla windshield was the same as if I replaced it with the original glass. The Gorilla glass (Mopar part) also includes the gorilla and original jeep emblem. The insurance premium is not affected because you are not considered at fault for rock chips or cracks.

These guys are awesome. Broke the rear glass on my truck and I saw their reviews so I chose them. They set up a call with my insurance and I had an appointment to have it fixed immediately. I chose to wait there while they did it and they were so nice! They set up their TV and let me watch a movie while I waited. Oh, and they did an excellent job with the window. They had to replace the whole rear assembly and it looks factory, only now it has better tint! Thanks guys!

Went to get sunroof fixed but I was on a budget. I was unable to completely fix the issue due to finance costs but the employee helped me find a solution and figure out a way to fix my car while offering good counseling and a great price. I called Charlie because Safelite Auto Glass replaced my windshield and it has leaked ever since. I have been trying to get my windshield fixed since A week after they replaced it. By far the best experience I've had with a mechanic shop in my entire adult life. Came in needing an engine swap and they beat everyone's price including a so called friend. I threw a wrench in their system and asked if the car could be ready a day prior to what was agreed upon since I needed to drive it out of town that Saturday for work.
Desert Crank stayed late after hours to make sure it was ready the day prior. After they replaced the engine I was in need of a new battery since the one I had was dead for sitting so long. Rod called around to get me the best deal possible and ended up beating everyone including Amazon where I had purchased my battery before. Thanks so much for all you did and congratulations on your new shop come 2017. I highly recommend this shop to anyone needing service. You won't be disappointed.

Big fan of this place. This place gets 5 stars because of one thing, honesty. I have an older model Mercedes that I brought over from California and this place was recommended to me. In the beginning they offered to take the car to a Mercedes specialist (which they did, and I wrote a review on that place too) because their guys aren't too familiar with older German cars.
Side note: If you have a newer European car I would take it to them too, as I saw plenty of newer euro cars there too. Long story short, I have brought the car back to them to continue the work. The prices are fair, but what really gets me is how they don't try to oversell to you. There is a problem with the fuel system and they said the problem could be 5 different things.
Those things ranged from about $100-$1500 to fix and they said they recommended that we start with the cheapest fix to see if that solves the issue. That really got to me, because they're trying to get the job done the right way without compromising their reputation, the safety of the job and my money. I'm going to keep going to this place because it isn't about the money is about the values and business ethics this place has.

We have two older cars in our household, so having a good, honest mechanic is something we don't take for granted. rod and his employees are friendly and accomodating and their work is top notch. they can easily identify the problem and correct it - many times within the same day. the shop is welcoming, with bar stools around the service counter, two or three vending machines, and the best part, a big, comfy leather couch and tv to keep you occupied if you're waiting. call ahead to make sure they can get you in. you won't be disappointed! they are open on saturdays.

I had a great experience with Matrix Auto Glass. Our exterior, driver's side rear view mirror was smashed. Robert asked the make and model of the car to get the right size mirror, then said bring it on in. Within 20 minutes of being there, he had replaced the broken glass. Everything looks and works great. And the price was reasonable, too! Will use them to repair the pings in our other car's windshield, too.

The windshield I had replaced was fine, except I can hear the wind through it while driving from the weatherstripping that wasn't replaced right. Oh yeah, when it rains, it leaks at the top. I didn't file a complaint because I didn't want to take the time to go there again so they could mess something else up like Desert Crank and Engine did since they are in the same building and that is the only reason we chose them was because the car had just been repaired there. Big mistake. Due to my procrastination, I won't be able to get it fixed now. Good thing it doesn't rain here much.
