Trustworthy and not overpriced like dealerships. I'm really glad I found this place now that my car is nearing 250k and needing more frequent repairs.

Is there any chance to give a lowe grader than 1? They are doing so good that they rejected to take care of my car and asked me to come back in a week to see if they have an available spot. So I took my car to another place

I was on the road from SC when I had a problem with my steering and my AC stopped working. As an out of towner with a broken down car many shops would have probably taken advantage of the situation, but I got in right away, and received great service at a very fair price! They did a great job on the steering, and fixed the issues in my AC system that a home town shop messed up.

The owner Robert explained exactly what he was doing and why, and completed the work quickly and effectively to get me back on the road ASAP. The whole staff couldn't have been friendlier! I drove 8 hours straight to get home, with the AC blasting and the steering handled like a new car. These guys are highly recommended!

The owner, Robert, is amazing. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic in South Florida. I brought my car in for a sensor change. He found it wasn't a sensor but just a hose that wasn't tightened correctly. He fixed my issue for free. He could have replaced the sensor and charged me and I wouldn't have known the difference. I trust him and will only bring my car to him.

I brought my wife mini cooper in for some electrical tail light issues and the fixed it right the first time. I've been burnt by many mechanics is south florida before. Its nice to find a honest and reliable shop. They called me at the end of the day and gave me a update on what work was preformed that day. Its nice to find some true professional in this day and age. I'd highly recommend these guys.

Took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in after noticing a coolant leak. Spoke with Robert. He asked for details of the problem and made an appt for me to leave the car so he could inspect it. The appt day I got a call back explaining the problem- bad water pump- and the recommended replacement. Impressively, Robert also detected other small issues that I was aware of but not too concerned with.

I'll give Robert credit- he was not pushy at all and let me decide what repairs I was comfortable with. I feel very comfortable in the competency of Robert's work and appreciate his customer service skills. He listens. My Jeep thanks you and so do I. I was directed here by a tech that I trust (Jon from Jon's Auto Air 600 NE 26th Ct, Pompano Beach, FL 33064). Had my AC taken care of at Jon's 2 years ago and you can still hang meat in my vehicle. - I needed someone nearby, fair and most of all trust worthy. Had my vehicle towed to Davie Garage. Before anything took place I was given a pretty good outline on how my particular issue was going to be attacked. Here's what got me.

I was asked about the history of the vehicle, symptoms, etc., and Robert didn't say another word. He just listened. Once I was done he hit me with a bunch of questions about the vehicle and symptoms, in more detail. Long story short, a diagnostic was run on it and so many codes came back they stopped writing them down. He explained that one or two things could be throwing the entire system out of whack.

He asked for another day. I gave the green light and the witch hunt commenced. They found the problem and all the damage along the way that caused all the codes to go off. Not only was everything explained to me in detail, I was shown. Ended up replacing one major component and two minor components. Actually one, I decided to change the second one since we were already there (my choice).

She's up and running now 2 weeks. Back to normal minus the check engine light and the slue of codes. Man I hate that light. Davie Garage is also one of the most organized and cleanest shops I've ever seen. The entire staff are so easy to talk to and they're just happy to help. I really felt at home at Davie Garage. Recently had a problem with noisy suspension on my 06 Tacoma. after researching and WebMD'ing the pants off of it. I was sure I needed to get the front suspension replaced and was less than thrilled about the possible charges I would incur along the way. Next stop. Yelp reviews for a honest and fair auto repair shop. The team over at Davie Garage was extremely helpful and diagnosed the issue to be a loose bolt on the shock. they even took a look at the rest of the suspension just to ensure I was good to go. I feel confident using them for all future (yes, I am sure there will be more) repairs on my aging Taco. Thanks Davies Garage! You guys are the real MVPs

Had a great experience here. I was greeted the moment I walked in and received incredible service. I normally get my tune-up at another shop but since I live near by I decided to give it a try and am glad I did. They had my Equinox running like new and somehow had the AC blowing colder.

Went to Davie Garage today for the first time. A very pleasant experience. My vehicle required an oil change, tire rotation and fluid top off. My bill was reasonable and service was quick.

I wish every service provider I used was as honest, straightforward and competent as Davie Garage. I found them based on a friend's recommendation after I moved to Fort Lauderdale 7 years ago. Robert and his talented staff have maintained my 2004 Lexus SC430 to perfection. I wish I could trust my own family as much as I trust Robert! You can place your car in their care with no regrets. You will not be sorry. And the price a bad either.

I bought my daughter a used car and within the first week it broke down while she was going to school. I had it towed to Davie Garage and it was the best decision ever. In all my life, living in south Florida and having to deal with different mechanics in the Broward area, I have never been to a more honest and reasonably priced mechanic ever. I would recommend This place to all my friends and family. I'm a single mom and Don't have money to be throwing around and every mechanic i have ever been to has tried taking advantage and they jack up the prices. Robert was straight forward, told me the problems that could arise in the future with this car, didn't try to swindle me and didn't charge some insane fees.

Robert is very good, has reasonable prices and can also do work on VW's. We have taken both of our cars to him for repair and have never been disappointed.

This is the second time I take my car to Robert. After so many years of searching for a competent and honest mechanic, I have found a place where I can feel safe. I have an old 1995 Camry which refuses to say die. Taking it to this garage is like giving it a face lift. I spent $1700 for multiple issues: R/F sensor, sway bar links, front axles, left lower control arm, front pads and rotors, and an oil change. My old car is driving like a brand new car. Thanks!

I have been coming to Davie Garage for years. The owners and mechanics are amazing and honest. They provide fast and quality service. I won't bring my car to any other garage.

I had an excellent experience with this mechanic shop! All of the staff was really nice, the price was reasonable, and they were able to get my cars problem diagnosed and fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Robert and Cynthia were very pleasant to deal with and honest! They've just earned a lifetime customer. Overall a great experience!

Just so so to be honest - they can and will work on foreign cars but they are by no means experts - they will however charge you a fair and honest rate for the things they can work on. The guys directly across the street who do specialize in German cars charge almost as much as BMW - eeeeks. However at Davie Garage - he will tell you if he can fix it or not.

However that said - if you have an electrical problem in your car - foreign or domestic - this shop isn't going to go all out with an ammeter testing for shorts. I was surprised since they came so highly recommended. I can say they are nice and honest. Goes out of his way to ensure you are safe if there is a detrimental problem with your vehicle.

I just took my car here to just get the windshield wipers replaced, but they still went the extra mile. Robert, the owner, greeted me very kindly, and then later told me my splash guard (or whatever it's called) was loose and tightened it up for free, but I would have definitely been willing to pay a little extra for the effort. As I was driving home, I noticed that they also wiped inside of my car windshield too.

He still only charged me 20 bucks for the parts and labor, and it was done in 20ish minutes for everything. Also, when Robert was on the phone, I felt like he sounded like the hosts of the old NPR show, Car Talk. Nice place with some rustic charm. I like that the business is local and run by people who care about cars and keeping customers. I'll likely switch to this place when it's time to get my oil changed. Not all credit cards are accepted. I believe they only take Visa and Mastercard.

I never had any reservations about taking my car here for repair. Robert, the owner, was always a straight shooter and never over charged. He was receptive to questions and explained things in a manner that made sense. Even when I moved out of the area, I could call him up and ask questions to which he was awesome in answering. Everyone there is super nice!

Beware of these guys. Nice people they just charge too much and don't quite disclose what your mechanical issues are. They fixed my AC, told me I had a leak they couldn't find after testing and looking, etc. 4 months later I go back in and by a miracle they instantly find the issue. For 1800.00 more than half is labor because their book states billable hours even though it takes a fraction of that time to complete. Gouge much?

Bottom line, go across the street and price the work, their guarantee means nothing because they write a tiny sub clause invalidating the original work. Bottom line, if the cost of repair exceeds the value of your car, don't waste your cash. Buy something else and have it checked before you pay for it. I'm certain garage owners should be politicians. Be smart out there.

No BS shop! Took my Jeep in to get looked at in preparation to move overseas. They didn't try to convince me to get any work done other than one minor thing that needed adjusting. The tech even told me not to worry about another minor thing as it might lead to more serious problems breaking it apart. Overall these guys are honest and know what they're doing. Definitely don't try to screw you over like most shops in the Miami area! I highly recommend them!

Brought my car in to these guys and I have to say they did a great job. As I was traveling I needed my car to be fixed asap and it took them only half a day to get the job done. My car had a mechanical problem and I can definitely tell that they did an awesome job as the car runs like new. Prices are also very honest, after looking what the problem my car had and the prices I read online I was scared I was gonna pay a lot of money but it turned out to be a very fair price.

To summarize it all, these guys are fast, professional and honest, and to find such mechanics it's very rare nowadays, so if you're unlucky enough to have your car in need of repairs, take it to these guys, you definitely won't be disappointed.

My family and I have trusted our cars to Robert and his crew at Davie garage for over 20 years! I just left there a few minutes ago, after having some modifications done to my car. I wouldn't fathom trusting my safety to anybody other than Robert's crew. They were unbelievable patient, and went out of their way to make sure that my car was safe after the modifications were made!

Thank you SO much for the care you guys took! They have more than bent over backward for my family and I MANY times over the years. I can tell you that this is the way they treat everyone. Robert has check each and every car I have ever owned before I bought them. As a matte of fact, just a month ago I brought a prospective car to him, and after his thorough check out and explaining a few things about the car to me, I decided not to purchase the car. I am so thankful for his honesty, I would have ended up with a car that eventhough it looked great, I would have been miserable with! Honesty, integrity, and QUALITY work!
