I recently went to Sikora's for an inspection and tire change. I waited while they did this. My dash light was on indicating an oil change was needed. I also asked for them to clean my air filter. I was grateful for the quoted price and no other charges. Elders on a fixed income are grateful to those who are honest and fair. I appreciate these guys for not looking to add onto the "you need" list! Thanks guys!

I am a regular customer *meaning *(All oil changes, and yearly inspections to clarify!) Whitcomb's auto service is "Honest" with much integrity. I have had other mechanics there, try to touch up wear and tear on my vehicle, at no charge. I highly recommend. I had purchased a part I needed for inspection (it took three weeks)and after dealing with three area car repair businesses Whitcombs agreed to install it without the time and a half excuse or any other bull I got being a woman. After one of those businesses then reneged on my inspection I called last minute and they did it within an hour. I am so appreciative and so blessed to have stopped to inquire about the issue. Thank you everyone at Whitcombs! I hope we can continue to do business.

I'm not happy with Dave whitcombs! They were suppose to replace rusty parts on my car that was never replaced and I owe money for no reason. They knew I have kids with the car seats in the back and inspected my car while it was still rusty and unsafe to drive. What business does that? I had another shop look at my car because a friend of mine that knows cars very well told me something was wrong with my car and of course nothing was replaced and it was a 4,000 job to fix it all not what they told me wich was not even close to that.

I feel like they took advantage because I'm a women. I made sure that what I'm saying is correct and I would like my money back but I'm sure that won't happen because you stole from me. I can't even use my car for school or bring my kids to daycare. I'm so upset with the business and I'm sure you won't make it right? Do not go here especially if your a women. I'm saying this because of my experience. Horrible business!

I took my car in for a "check engine" warning light. The problem wasn't fixed the first time. The light came back on shortly afterward. Matt took the car back and put in another oxygen sensor at no extra charge. He even called me twice afterwards to make sure the car is working fine. I have been using this shop for decades. This is a great local auto service place.

I brought my BMW in with a relatively obscure issue, and despite not having a BMW computer to diagnose the issue, Matt and his team spent many hours trying to solve the problem. Ultimately, they were unable to fix every problem, and they gave the car back only charging me for absolutely necessary parts they put on my car. They absorbed the labor cost because they couldn't pass my car for inspection, but I appreciate their honesty and transparency while working on my car

If you can keep them focused and possibly make sure you can get the same tech on your car it would be fine. I went in for an oil change and asked them to take a look for any other problems, told them some of the issues I had noticed and they did, at that time. I was told about a few potential issues. I thought my info, name/phone number were taken down, I was told they would look into parts and give me and estimate soon. Ended up having to back in the next day because my muffler started acting up and it was like I had never been there.

There was no record of potentials issues, they asked for my number again and I had to ask them to look for potential problems again. This time they said they didn't see anything wrong. Well my car just broke down today due to one of the issues they had mentioned on the first check. They did my oil change on the spot and managed to fix my muffler issue for next to nothing and on short notice. The inconsistency of techs and poor record keeping do not make finding potential problems and taking care of them before they become a real issue very difficult.

Called up this Service center, last minute on a Friday morning, in order to set up a time to stop by to find out what was draining my battery on my Volvo. They said "come on over". They ran some diagnostic tests and found out it was actually the new battery that I had purchased last year. Bad cell. Long story short-they outfitted me with a brand new battery on the spot, at a great price, and had me out the door in 45 minutes from start to finish. Good ol' fashion hometown service, too! Special shout out to John and Mark for making the experience seamless and pleasant. Highly recommend this business!

When we can't fix it ourselves this is my garage of choice. They often get me in and out in a short time and always explain what needs fixing. Their prices are very reasonable and the quality of their work is top notch. I highly recommend them!

Whitcomb's was recommended by a local I trust. I brought a newly purchased used car into them for a check over. They were quick and thorough and were able to see me the same day and get a new set of tires on for me too. Front of house service was polite and professional and the turn around was quick and well done.

I had called around for a tire alignment and this was the cheapest by $10 in the Burlington, VT area. They did well on my alignment, but I didn't feel that they had treated me great as a customer. I felt like both the mechanic and sale man were talking down to me because I'm a female. I'd recommend this service station if you're just wanting to get something done, but if you're looking for a friendly mechanic I still recommend Dolan's Auto in Burlington, VT.

I have been using Dave's for about three years for my car and have never had anything but great service. Last year when I took it in for a oil change, I was running late for work and didn't realize I was so low on gas.when I pulled in my gas light came on. To my surprize, when I went to pick it up, they had put almost a half of a tank of gas in and didn't chage me for it.

I just had it inspected last month, one of the guys came out to tell me that I had a bulb out. When I went to pay, he told me that as he was replacing the bulb it had come back on, it was just a bit loose, so he didn't replace it. I would call that pretty honest. I am a women and they know that I am pretty clueless about my car. I have been very happy. I am taking it in tomorrow for a check engine light.so, stay tuned=

I have been going to Whitcomb's for over 10 years. I am a woman and have never felt uncomfortable with my dealings there. Dave gives fair estimates and works with me to time the repairs with my tight budget. When my Stratus hit a tree in a snowstorm one of his repairman came and gave us a courtesy ride to work and school! They are great folks to do business with!
