Dan's Toy Shop

I've been bringing in my Highlander for regular servicing at Dan's for the past few years after having not so great experiences with the dealerships. So far I've been pleasantly surprised. All the times I've gone in everyone has been friendly and let me know exactly what work would be done on my vehicle. I've never had them try to force unnecessary repairs or maintenance on me and they give me a heads up on any items that might need to be worked in the future.

They have very reasonable pricing as well and the work has been prompt in my experience. Very easy to get in touch with for scheduling appointments or asking questions. Great communication has been a plus for me as I am not left guessing, so very much appreciated. I'll be bringing my Highlander in for the foreseeable future.

Dan's had previously replaced the $$$$ batteries on my 2007 hybrid Camry much less than the dealer. I had always gone close to home to have routine maintenance. First time having the oil changed at Dan's and was pleased that they were less than I had been charged elsewhere and able to do routine maintenance at the same time. Did not try to have added costs for me and did advise future concerns. I will definitely continue to bring my car here. Always friendly and professional.

I always find Dan's to be very trustworthy, reasonable, capable and Leslie is very friendly in the front office. Since they no longer allow us to wait at the office, it is difficult for me as I live far away and don't have anyone to drive me there. I can usually take my bike but that isn't always convenient. It would be helpful if we could wait in the office for minor repairs and services.

Dan's Toy Shop has been providing my Tundra with excellent care and maintenance for many years and this visit was no different. My truck takes me into wildly difficult and remote places where a mechanical problem could quickly become dangerous and extraction would be incredibly expensive. I depend on Dan's to keep my truck in top mechanical condition without trying to up-sell unnecessary repairs along the way. They have never disappointed and I recommend them to all my Toyota owning friends.

I went in because I needed a place I could trust to give me a detailed inspection with estimates. So while I did get "just" an oil change, what I found was a place that can take care of me for the lifetime of my car! No pressured sales and a detailed plan of things that need to be monitored and addressed in the future. Allowing me to budget and keep confidence in my vehicle. That is priceless! Dan's Toy Shop is the best I've seen.

So easy to get appointment. They completed needed service in two hours. I like that I knew how much the cost would be at time of appointment. Very honest too. I thought I needed new breaks but I didn't. If it was the dealer they would have said that I do. Thanks for taking care of me and my car

I have taken my vehicles to Dan's Toy Shop for YEARS (even before Dan bought it from Bill). The service is reliable (I've never had to return to have them refix an issue). They never recommend work that doesn't really need to be done right away. They keep all records on computer so they can check all items on the "watch list" (those things that don't require repair now, but will sometime in the future).

Their rates are CONSIDERABLY more reasonable than the dealer. Dan's is one reason that I rarely consider buying anything other than a Toyota/Lexus. A car is only as good as the mechanics who work on it. I trust Dan's 100%.

I have owned Toyotas for decades and am familiar with the service options in Tucson. Without question, Dan's is the best. They are quick, honest, do a great job at the best price in the city.

I've had two interactions with Dan's and both of them have really been so positive that they absolutely have my loyalty. Their prices easily outshine the dealership. They've got a partnership with Costco, and communicating with them is very easy; sorry if I'm behind on the times but I love that I can text message these people and they're very quick about getting those work estimates to you by email.

These are the basics. What truly won me over was how they were able to help me over the holidays. I don't want to go into too many details because I don't want to set unreal expectations, but not only did they help me out in a pinch, they also advised me about a warranty on my car that I thought expired.so instead of just doing the work and putting me in the hole several hundred dollars, I was able to follow their advice and let the dealership do the rest. That's building trust right there. Much respect.

Wanted to have my 07' Lexus Rx350 with over 200k miles checked out. They found many details like license plate lights and oil plug gasket missing, but also the larger items were addresses. All fully detailed in writing with recommended fix or wait instructions. I felt very confidant in their work ethic and trust them as I came with several recommendations from close friends.
