I did a state inspection and oil change with them. They're a great shop. Really friendly and got me in really quick.

I took my care I for engine light diagnostics. I paid a significant price. The came back on weeks later, so I took it back. By that time of the appointment, the engine light wen off again. I was charged an additional price to check it again, $150. I was told he couldn't diagnose the problem but I was still charged. I will not take it back. The building since has been sold to Christian Autobody shop but Danneman's works there also. Strange! I wouldn't recommend serving my car there.

Excellent service, reasonable, been in the business for many years, and very very nice people. They're the kind of people where you do NOT have to wonder if they're gouging you or charging for unnecessary repairs.

Friendly, honest service for someone new to town! Both of my cars had issues within weeks of moving to town from out of state. Danneman's took care of me and my kids. My two little ones were with me during several of the repairs and their waiting room and employees welcomed me and made the waiting go smoothly. Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future myself.

Called for a quote for 4 brake pads and front rotors only. It took them over an hour to call me back. Every other place quoted me on the phone without having to call me back. They said these services would cost me $1900. Very friendly on the phone but clearly trying to take advantage of me. Shop around.

I've been using Danneman's Auto Service for nearly three decades. In the past, I've elected Danneman's over dealership warranty/recall service to ensure quality service. Why? Because I trust them implicitly. I tend to keep cars for a long time. My 1993 Mazda 626 was maintained by Danneman's exclusively till I bought a new vehicle for medical reasons.

I sold the vehicle to the owner in 2016. That was a year ago and it is still running strong. His daughter now drives it. I now have a 2017 Ford with both factory and purchased warranty in force with free routine maintenance. Guess where I go. Over the years I found Danneman's Auto Service work impeccable. They will also accommodate unfortunate situations.

A few years ago, I lost a fan belt heading to North Carolina. The car overheated. I called Danneman's, they arranged for a tow, a rental car and I was off again. When I returned, my car was repaired and waiting for me. Waiting in the lobby, I speak to long-time and new customers and have never heard someone speaking ill of Danneman's. The owner demands quality, he gets it and is honest to a fault.

They are expensive. More expensive with some work than my BMW dealer. Had my car towed there because it broke down. They charge a $130 to $260 assessment fee that won't be credited towards the repair. Replacing a fuel filter on my car was $250. Quote from BMW dealer: $210. That's about a 20% premium. I felt completely taken advantage of and neither the owner nor the general manager seemed to care.

I would recommend that you shop around and get quotes from other shops. Most likely you won't end up with them. The general manager summed it up when I pointed out that they're more expensive than a BMW dealer: "Well we're not a BMW dealer!" Clearly, not.

I just had service done on my daughters 2007 Ford Escape and my 2008 Dodge Magnum SRT8. Jim and Scott took great care of me. The repairs were done to a very high level. I am planning on getting some suspension work done on the Magnum in the very near future. I know they will treat me right again!

I love these guys. When we originally moved to the Baltimore area, we use to take our 99GLE there for service. We stopped going due to distance and at that time a large number of people servicing Saab in the city, but as time moved on.fickle mechanics fell off and once Saab was gutted by GM these guys remained true. As a Saab lover, these guys make me remember why I loved Saab and Saab people so much. You'll pay for their expertise, but their service is without question.

I have taken cars here twice. The first time was for our 98 Toyota Corolla, about five years ago, and it was a good experience so I recently brought our 03 Acura RSX in. Both times, they were friendly, explained clearly the problem with the car and what needed to be done, and were up-front about the cost. They also let me know of maintenance for both cars that would need to be done in the near future, but did not try to get me to do the work now or schedule it even.

The cost is very reasonable. It's $55 to diagnose a problem ($125 - $240 if they have to use the computer diagnostic tool, which I didn't have to do). For the Acura, I brought it in for a pinging/clunking noise and within the hour they had determined that the problem was the catalytic converter heat shield, and they bolted it back in place for $10. The whole thing took a little under an hour. I would definitely come back here.
