The front staff and mechanics have done a wonderful taking care of and servicing our vehicles. They offer a shuttle service (within a certain distance), which helps a great deal with kids in school and activities. The work we had done has been great and no issues afterwards. It is also neat that they offer referral coupons and coupons for services you may need later on.

One other cool thing is that I have gotten a bag of popcorn each time and I love popcorn, so it's a fun treat. I highly recommend Dakota Ridge Auto. Book an appointment online and check them out!

My first time here after a very good recommendation and he was right. This whole staff that took care of me from the second I walked thru the door to furnishing a ride home and back to pick my car up was wonderful to have such friendly and professional service. TJ really helped me out with understanding the repairs my 4Runner needed and was extremely personable. He showed me the differences on his own 4Runner with excellent explanations. His team has treated me well, they are all professional, patient and honest. You can't beat the free shuttle service! They are an outstanding business with considerable customer service.

I took my car in for their coupon oil change service. They came back to me with about $1000.00 of repairs needed. I declined and just went with the oil change. I did research and looked into the "recommended" issues. After finding a trustworthy mechanic to take it to, they found about 60% of the recommended issues were not necessary. They also found that my transmission was overfilled with a suspect liquid which I still have a sample of.

This overfill was potentially much more dangerous than a dry transmission. Now I cannot say that this was something Dakota Ridge did. But they did "Check all fluids" and yet somehow they did not catch this. This unfortunately seems that Dakota is either very Shady or Incompetent. Either way I would avoid taking your vehicle to them. I know I will never return and I wouldn't let them work on my bicycle.

This business is OUTSTANDING! I wish I could give more than a 5 star review. They definitely live by the moto of "putting the customer first." I was referred by a friend and I am so happy I brought my car there for an inspection. They are honest, fair, patient, and try to help their customers as much as they can. I highly recommend them.

TJ and team took care of me and fixed up our Subaru. Rodents had eaten through some wiring and TJ called a tow truck for me, gave me a clear list of all the work they suggested be done since we also needed a few other regular maintenance items taken care of, and they were quick about it. I picked up my car. It works great. I feel like I was really taken good care of. I've used Dakota Ridge Auto in the past for my other car as well and have always driven away happy.

Pretty good, worked fast and efficiently which is what I needed. Only issue was a little "oh no you might have another issue we have to fix" kinda talk, but every mechanic has some of that. I was blown away by the kindness & integrity of this team. My camper van had broken down on New Years Eve & this was the only shop in the area that could look at it that day. Since I live in my van I couldn't afford to be without it to wait on parts to come in. They found a way to fix it quickly without having to order the part that would have had me stranded in Denver for 5 days.

Not only did they stay after hours to fix it on a holiday, but they covered the cost of the repair for free! It was an unexpected gift in the midst of a really challenging time. I have no prior relationship with this shop and don't even live near Denver, so it was especially kind and generous of them. I could also tell by their interactions with customers in the lobby that they take really good care & seem to foster a lot of loyalty. I definitely recommend supporting this business! I'd like to start by graciously Thanking this shop for always doing right by us! 1st interaction, our car was stolen then recovered with a busted ignition. We had it towed there and within a couple days they had it back to us. 2nd the steering rack in our mini van needed replaced, these guys got it done in just 2 days along with a full inspection of our vehicle 3rd My mother in law drove out here for Thanksgiving and a plate cracked on her engine. These guys got her in same day and all set for the road in just 2 days! Shout out to Mark for the phenomenal customer service through and through!

Was having trouble with my car starting, we didnt think it would be the battery since we had recently gotten a new one elsewhere. The team at Dakota Ridge Auto fixed my car right up, turns it was just the battery, and I was able to pick up my car very quickly. They are also very good at answering any questions. Absolutely awesome service. They repaired what I needed and told me what I needed but could hold off on for now. The customer service was great and the quality of the work seems just as great. The cost was fairly competitive as I did call around, however it was the most expensive from other places, with that said the level of service I experienced was well worth the cost difference. I will be bringing all my vehicles here in the future.

They were there when I needed them. My daughter was in town for Thanksgiving break. New car purchase, decided to try a new shop since my last shop has declined in service. First impression great communication & willingness to listen to the customer. I have been service writing for 2 decades & will say if you want great customer service & care for the customer along with their safety in the vehicle please consider the extra cost for Dakota Ridge Auto. Well worth it!

I would not recommend coming to Dakota Ridge for any of your car needs. Every time I brought my car in to Dakota Ridge they would fix it and something else wibe broken. I have I had several occasions where I've asked them to fix the part or piece that they broke in my car for a discount and or for a warranty. And they said it was not their fault. Their customer service was awful. I would not recommend anyone goes here for their auto shop needs needs. Every time I left their shop I left pissed off and very unhappy.

I went in recently to have my ac looked at. When I got the inspection results back they stated i needed my entire ac system replaced without stating what the exact issue is. They initially quoted me about $3000+ in total. Reasonable price and concern. UNTIL i got home and ran a pressure test on it myself and found the leak in about 2 minutes which turned out to be the discharge hose which i can go get at the store.

Pretty easy to find the leak but instead i was told to replace the whole system. Im 19 and i found it easy money, when i take my car to a shop i trust them be honest with their customers. :

I had taken my car into a regional chain for some work and it left worse than when I brought it in. I called Dakota Ridge Auto and they were able to get me in quickly. They were open and honest about the issues and walked me through the recommended work. My car is driving better now than it has in the past year. Plus they're a local company so my money is staying in my community.

From the initial phone consultation, repairs and pick-up, I offer high praise for all facets of service Dakota Ridge Auto provided. I'm very disappointed that after an oil change they recommended I replace my passenger axle that would cost over $800. I have a warranty thankfully that covers it, but when I brought it into the dealership they showed me while the car was up that there are no leaks and nothing wrong with any axles. It's in fact an oil leak or residual from the service Dakota provided. It's never a good feeling to be a woman and be taken advantage of like that. I will never return.

They have been forthcoming with all the information about my car. I would not go to another auto shoppe. They are very nice and listen to you. I am female, and do not feel I am preyed upon. Great service and very thorough. But I will say it is a little more expensive than other mechanic services. For example, I received a oil change, full synthetic, cost $80 but with coupon $70. Most places around Littleton are between $40-$60 for a full synthetic oil change. Hourly rates are a little higher than other shops. They do have some great coupons which can help with those costs. that being said, they are a honest shop and my first impressions are that they do quality good work.

This was my first time getting an oil change here and the team was very friendly and thorough. A shuttle service is offered to take you home while your car is in the shop and I was texted a detailed report of my car with photos before picking it up so I could decide if I wanted anything else done. Highly recommend!

I am so impressed with Dakota Ridge and have consistently had a very positive experience as they have worked on my car. I just picked up my car from Dakota Ridge following an oil change and inspection. Tim was extremely helpful from start to finish. He was so good about keeping me informed with their progress. He sent me a complete inspection report with their recommendations including a break down of the "urgent musts"and the "needs attention soon" and an estimate for repairs.

It even included some pictures to show me what they were seeing. When I called to authorize the work, Tim was, again, very helpful in discussing the most affordable and best way to proceed, offering discounts and special deals where applicable. Since this all took place before, they were able to order parts and finish the work by end-of-day. I give them 5 stars and recommend them to everyone!

So we're sent a coupon for an oil change for $25- we make our appointment for 730am- and bring our car in- we left it overnight so it was the first one in. Come 11 am no call from the shop so we call. They say the car is ready but it needs this and it needs that. my husband lets them know we'll pass on anything outside of the oil change for now.

The guy on the phone- Tim- responds by telling my husband to not bring our car back for an oil change if we won't let them do the suggested repairs. Wow. Send us a coupon and then chastise us for using it. I went to pick up the car because my husband was too irritated with this guy. I went in, introduced myself and suggested a little kindness would go further as the chance is there that our mechanic would not be available next time- and he'd have our business with just a little rapport building with a prospective client. He was still a jack ass- Tim was his name.

A few hiccups but when it's all said and done Tim goes above and beyond to explain the issues your vehicle is having, give you what needs to be done, a time frame, and finally the cost. You get what you pay for. Thank you Tim and Dakota Ridge Auto.

I received a coupon for a free oil change from the car wash next door with a car wash package. I called and set an appointment and dropped my car off. Got a call from TJ and he informed me that it would be $69.95. I told him I had a coupon for a free oil change. He said well that will give you $10.00 off. I said, it's a free oil change and I know oil changes are not $10.00.

He said send me a picture, I did and said I expect to pay for the up charge for synthetic oil. He explained it was too old and they wouldn't take my coupon even though there is no expiration date. He went on to explain that he can't believe in times like these I would take advantage of a small business like this. I explained I own a small business and I am feeling the pain just like he is, that's why I was so thankful I didn't have to pay $70.00 for an oil change right now.

I asked him what he meAnt by "taking advantage"? He said if your not trying to take advantage just pay for your oilBy asking him to honor a coupon the car wash gave me I am taking advantage of him? You can see by the many negative reviews tho TJ guy has a big problem and a habit of screwing almost anyone dumb enough to enter Dakota Ridge automotive.

As an update, the owner recorded my phone call and was upset that when TJ refused to honor my coupon I cussed and got upset. I complained to the better business bureau and Chris the owners response? Amongst other defamatory statements about me, he told me to talk to the car wash about the coupon he wouldn't honor! Funny, he is the owner of the car wash, he even has his mug with his brothers as owner as you exit the car wash.

He also stated that my Chevrolet pickup requires 8 quarters (his spelling) of oil, my 15 year old daughter knows it takes 6, I degreass. Chris was also the person who handed me the coupon he will not honor, and his manager TJ told me if I did not pick up my truck in 24 hours he would have it towed. Does this sound like someone you want to do business with?

Do not take your vehicle here. Had them work on my air conditioner less than 3 years ago including replacing the condenser. The condenser tube now has a hole in it from rubbing on the frame due to the poor installation. It should be under warranty but I was told I would have to pay a diagnostic fee and then they would decide if it was actually covered. Pretty open ended.

Old car.? Don't bother with these people. They could not put a single exhaust on a 71 stock Chevrolet. Repeat- they couldn't do it. Said it was rusty. Guess they don't have a wire brush. They are parts changers!

I sure would like a meeting with the owner of Dakota Ridge. We have mailed you a letter voicing our concerns. I sent a message on your website this morning, I received a email from the employee that I am having an issue with. My husband and I would really like to discuss our problem, with you, please. I guess I have to give stars, I really don't want to give a review until this matter is resolved. So for now I will give it two Stars, and give you the chance to change my mind.

This was my second time going here. My first experience wasn't the best but they were close to home and convienent so I figured I would give them another shot. I was having the exact same issue with my truck one year ago that I'm having with it right now, brought it in and told the mechanics what was going on and what they did last time to fix it.

Left my truck there overnight and all day, and went back to pick it up after work when they told me they couldn't find anything and we're guessing that it was an intake leak which would cost about $900 to fix. So I paid the $125 for them to run their "tests" and left. I went and got a second opinion from another mechanic, after about five minutes they had narrowed down the issue to something completely different then what Dakotah ridge auto told me.

This new trustworthy mechanic descovered 2 possibilities And the repair would only cost me $40. So now I am going to do this repair myself after throwing away $125 at dokotah ridge auto. I'll never go back and regret even giving them a second chance. Sucks to get taken advantage of and I will make sure to tell everyone I know In the area to avoid this place at all costs. Update: I wanted to make sure that I had completely resolved the issue before I posted an update.

So like I had said in my original review, I went ahead and did the repairs to my vehicle. I spent a fraction of what Dakota Ridge auto quoted me and my vehicle has been running flawlessly. Also to go along with that after I had posted my original review one of the Front desk people at dakota Ridge auto called me and basically bribed me that if I had removed my review they would refund me for the diagnostic charge I had paid initially. I'm guessing this was because he knew what a joke of a shop they were running and didn't want someone sharing it with the world.

I went ahead and removed the review from google and got my money back but I had completely forgotten that it automatically had posted to Yelp reviews. Overall I did get my money back for their diagnostic fee and I went to head and did the repairs on my own for a fraction of the cost. Still feel the same way and I would highly recommend taking your vehicle elsewhere to get an actual professional mechanics opinion

A trustworthy neighborhood mechanic. They are kind and friendly and always give me an accurate assessment of what needs to be done on my car, and what can wait. They have a free shuttle that drops you off at your house while they work on your car. They always have coupons too which is a perk. We will continue to bring our cars here.

I am so happy that I choose this place when my "check engine" light came on. Granted, everything was leaking in my engine and I had to bite the bullet on some large repairs, but somehow I emerged from that experience feeling confident and taken care of. It was because of the amazing staff and service of this place that I didn't feel too burdened by my car's misfortune. Dakota Ridge made sure I understood everything that was going on with my car, sent me pictures and videos to show the extent of what was going wrong, and took the time to speak to me, explaining what went wrong, what I can watch out for, and just general information about my car.

Shout out to Tim for talking to me like I actually know a little bit about the inner workings of my car (which I do) instead of treating me like a young blonde woman who is absolutely clueless and could never understand car care (which I get a LOT). Dakota Ridge was OVER communicative in a good way! I got a text after the initial inspection with pictures and video of what the inspection had uncovered, a call after that to walk through the repairs and estimate, and a real discussion about what needed to be repaired immediately and what I could wait 8 months to repair while I saved up some money, a text when the technician started the repairs, a call every time they ran into something unexpected in the repairs in order to keep me informed of the hiccups and possible changes to the estimate, and a call/text when my car was ready to pick up.

They offer a lovely shuttle service to get you from your house to the shop so you don't have to Uber or beg a friend for a ride. And when I got in my car after all had been repaired there was a lovely note from the technician and a bag of popcorn as thanks for bringing my car to them (very nice touch!). All in all, I have never felt better cared for by an auto shop. Dakota Ridge Auto is the place to go!

Wow, seems like a lot of drama going on in other reviews. This is one of the tough things about Yelp, anyone can post anything about a business. And more often than not, it's just drama and wanting to damage reputations out of spite. Are auto repairs cheap? Not if you have something big going on and not if you want the work done properly. I've learned that lesson the hard way. Anyhoo, I digress because I was completely shocked that my experience was so much different than what I'm seeing here.

I came in primarily for an oil change but had questions about my brakes which were vibrating more than a little when coming to a stop. After the techs completed the oil change, they took a look at my brakes. Turns out it was warped rotors, which I had been suspecting. Before making the necessary repairs, they answered my questions and explained everything in detail, including all costs, parts needed, even fees and taxes.

It was in line, even less than I was expecting, so I gave them the green light to take care of everything. Out the door, I paid a great price with no surprises and certainly none of the drama anyone is talking about here. My truck is running perfectly and the brakes are as smooth as butter. Even went up into the mountains a couple weekends ago and had a near miss with some ding-dongs who clearly have no business driving in any other conditions than warm weather and dry roads. Brakes performed perfectly and without the vibration happening, I felt a lot safer. Bonus.very clean shop, even the bathrooms.

I can't tell you how grossed out I get going to a shop only to find the toilet seat up and sprinkles everywhere. This kind of attention to detail gets a big thumbs up in my book.

Dakota Ridge is running a pretty shoddy operation. I explained my issue to the people working there 3 different times and in great detail - basically, that my AC belt was squealing along a pulley and I wanted to know why. Despite the fact that my AC unit doesn't even run off of the serpentine belt, they insisted that the issue would be fixed by replacing a tensioner on the serpentine belt, which they said had been installed improperly by someone else (this escaped their notice during an earlier "comprehensive" review of the belts a couple months before).

They had my car for a few days and then told me that everything was fixed. IMMEDIATELY upon driving off, the belt squealed as loud as ever. They had clearly not taken the time to accurately diagnose the issue. Overall, the competence of their techs and/or ability to listen to their customers is questionable. Beware of the inspection they claim to be doing as part of their oil change special - I'm not sure they even look at all the stuff they say they're inspecting.

I would just like to thank Dakota Ridge Auto for the service I recently received there!!! I honestly can say that I have NEVER been treated better or with more respect that I was by TJ and his staff. This shop is the shop you want to use. I believe fixing your car is super important to them, but I believe even more important is the way in which they treat their customers. Any shop can fix a car...any shop can make it seem as though they care....but this shop fixes your car and this shop staff DOES care. Thank you TJ and Dakota Ridge for all that you do!!!

I feel blessed to have found an automotive shop that is not only competent but also puts the customer #1. As a consumer I have never experienced the friendliness and courtesy that TJ has showed. Literally never ever have I had a better customer experience than I have at Dakota Ridge. Having a trust worthy mechanic is one thing that can bring serenity into a hectic world. It's one thing to have car problems, its a sh#t show to have underqualified gougers handling the complexity of today vehicles. My former mechanics retired, I tried Dakota Ridge once and have gone back every time since.

I have to say that Dakota Ridge Auto are the most honest and reputable business I've ever dealt with. We were on vacation and 2000 miles from home when our car started to suddenly overheat! Pulled off the interstate and Dakota Ridge was the closet auto shop we came to. My husband went in and they told him they would get us in as soon as possible. Their complimentary shuttle driver Kurt, drove us to the mall while we waited.

Within an hour they called my husband and said it was just a loose radiator cap and they filled up the fluid! When the shuttle brought us back and my husband went in to pay, they told him there was no charge and have a great vacation!! Talk about an honest auto repair shop! They could have told us we needed an expensive repair but instead, helped some out of town travelers.

I can't say enough good things about these people and their honesty. We want to thank them very much for their help and if anyone needs a reputable auto service, please take your car there!

I have brought my car here for the past 3 years, and I still appreciate the great service that they give me. The front desk staff is friendly, their drop off/pick up driver is easy to talk to, and the complimentary car wash definitely comes in handy. I could easily choose a Jiffy Lube, but I won’t because of how they treat me here.
