Stopped in on a Saturday, not knowing the shop was closed, and asked the fuel station attendant if they might have time to fix a screw puncture in my tire. Mechanic Matthew, who was not on the clock but working on his own vehicle, popped out of the shop and did not hesitate to help me out. Thank you Matthew and thank you Crownsville Auto! This is just the most recent of positive experiences I have had at this business.

My AC was on the fritz in the middle of a heat wave. Andy and crew got me in a week earlier than any other shop. The first fix didn't solve my problem, though. When I called Andy back he was very kind and said he would make it right. Sure enough, I brought it back in and he fixed it and discounted the fix given that the first attempt didn't solve my problem. I appreciated his diligence and kindness in making things right. It took longer than expected, but the service was worth it.

Have been going for 3 years now to Crownsville Automotive. Oil and battery and alternator and general maintenance work. The mechanic is knowledgeable and provides me great service at a fair price. Takes time to talk about the car and doesn't run up the price. I highly recommend them. Services: Battery, Oil change

I have used them multiple times now for my camry and F-150. There have been a few times where they've told me a repair is not imminent and given me the choice to hold off. The employees use the voice of a teacher when explaining things and never have your car for long. The weirdest thing was happening with my truck where the bearing wouldn't go bad until it had been driving for a while.
It wouldn't do it for them multiple times so they returned it to me and told me to keep listening. It started doing it one day so I spontaneously pulled in and told them. One of the employees went for a ride with me, identified it being the wheel bearing then jacked it up outside to confirm. The employee left what he was working on without attitude and was committed to finding the issue, even after leaving it with them multiple times. I highly recommend this place!

So glad when my extended warranty expired with dealership. Crownsville automotive is polite, friendly, courteous and 100 % customer service driven. Call with full explanation of services needed and price. Very courteous of my car, unlike dealership. Will not take my car anywhere else, 2014 Prius with 120,000 miles.

Twenty two years later and I continue to take my cars to Crownsville Automotive. I also drive thirty miles for my car repairs. Andy's work is guaranteed and dependable.
