Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care

Can't trust this place. It's one thing to over charge on a repair (which yes their prices are comical) but it's another when you find out by getting a second opinion that they said something wasn't working when it actually was. Is it because I am a girl that they try to scam me? Not sure but women should definitely steer clear from this place if not everyone.

Called in to see if they could recommend me a tow company to have my car towed here i was told they don't which is very odd for a tire shop so i called discount tire & they were able to get me a tow company nearby

Well, after experiencing a hiccup with a brand new employee, the store manager Paul, was absolutely one of the most amazing, caring, kind, and generous person! They took care of me and treated me with the upmost respect. I would suggest bringing your car to this place of business any day! They are knowledgeable, experienced, and will absolutely take care of you! Thank you again, Paul! You guys rock so much!

BEWARE Free lifetime mounting and balancing is based on the car. NOT THE TIRES. I got a new car and was told the free balance and mounting is not available. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Took my car here to get four new tires. When I picked the car up they told me I needed new front brakes (the whole thing) to the tune of $1000. That's funny, I had my brakes done a year ago by my private mechanic, to whom I trust all of my cars. Upselling has become a big problem at this Conrad's, not sure how the others are. They have tried to upsell other items on other vehicles we have taken there for an oil change. The price on the tires was good, that's the only reason I would ever go back to this store.

Worst experience ever. If you have tons of money just laying around and you want to donate them to this thieves then just go straight right a head. They stole my new car battery, took all the oils, keep a screw loose so that you will be hearing massive noise coming out of your car. They will make your car so miserable that you will just end up donating all your organs to just make your car alive. No i am not crazy. I had to spend $8,000 dollars for these people. Just do go to them. If you have so much money laying around then just keep them in your saving account.

Tech who took care of my car was nice but the front desk guy has a very condescending tone towards female customers.

Honestly these people are genius. So read my review carefully. I went to get some new tires to discount tire store. They broke the studs. Then I came to Conrad's Tire Express & Total Car Care. These people have great employees. They know car anatomy meaning they know how to break your car parts one by one. They broke my new brake pads, they kept a nut near tire barriers loose so the whole weight will go on the tire and eventually the barrier and the tires will stop working and you will end up dying.

Thank God I did not die. When you confront them they just say one dialogue, "Oh this dash dash part was already broken in your car, I have tried my best to patch it up but if I were in your place I would get done the work within a week" meaning fill me up with all the money you have. Especially the receptionist guy has zero customer service. The technicians are hilarious because they will break everything and will laugh on you and your situation.

Air valve on my tire broke and had to get the entire thing replaced. Called two different Conrads in which I was told they couldn't fit me in until the following week. Called the Conrad's in Macedonia, Rick answered, was extremely inviting, friendly and knowledgable about my issues. Told me to come in that day and they would get it taken care of. As soon as I walked in and told him I just spoke to him, he remembered me instantly and got me situated.

I waited for a little over an hour, and everything turned out great, even the price! One of the first Conrad's I've been to, where I felt welcomed and felt like I could trust them. I'll definitely be going back to this location.

I dropped my car off for an oil change, they took longer than expected. I was just about to leave after waiting then the man told me they had just started working on my car. I wish I would of told them to take my car off the lift and left. On my way home my car was smoking and smelled of burning oil along with new lights appearing on my dash. I'm very lucky I made it home without my car blowing up.

The whole side/tire was covered in oil. There was absolutely no oil in my car by the time I got home. Called to complain asking for money back and once I got there they didn't even apologize. I will never come back.

Peace of mind is what this Conrad's offers. Always efficient and fixes your car in a reasonable time frame be it an oil change or a major repair. Courteous and polite. There for your peace of mind!

Came here with a coupon to get an oil change for I believe 20$ or $30. Was told by the man at the front desk that they HAD to put synthetic oil in my 2019 Hyundai so I ended up paying almost $100 for an oil change. Fast forward to my current oil change at the Hyundai dealership. They asked why I requested a synthetic oil change and I told them that Conrads said my car had to have it. They laughed and told me that was a SCAM to make more money. I knew something seemed off about this place. would advise people to get their oil changed elsewhere.

The Conrad team is really thorough. They video while going over your car. They recommend if work needs to take place or not! Their prices are fair! Get a oil change, and they rotate your tires for free!

Fantastic customer service and also very fast and efficient! Coming back from CO I was super pleased with the overall experience that I had!

10 AM appointment for oil change. I presented my $24.95 coupon - staff brings my invoice to sign- $65 and some change. I reminded him about the coupon. Condescendingly states that my car takes synthetic oil. This was the third oil change for this car at this (Macedonia) location. Always used this coupon. I leave the car (drop off) and told it will be ready within 4 hours (2 PM).

At 4 PM I called for status and told "pretty soon". At 530 I went to shop- I need my car! and told that they will get to it "soon". I could not wait related to need my car for another appointment. Asked if I wanted another appointment- Sure- with one of the half dozen other oil change shops on Route 82! Large sign states that appointments take priority over walk-ins. I am not sure about that.

I purchased a car battery from another place and I needed it installed. Matt, the manager at the Conrads in Macedonia, gave me a reasonable price for that. Unfortunately, this older Toyota wouldn't start after battery was switched out. Matt explained that a car's computer system must initially adjust to a new battery, and my car was a brand known to have blocked fuel injection line issues that present this way.

Even when the car did start, it would stutter and stop. He felt the fuel line needed a flush but would cost over $100. I had brought in a working car that only needed new battery installed, so I was torn on what to do. Matt had been very calm, he seemed knowledgeable and explained process well. I had used that same Conrads as my primary repair place many years ago but not recently, so did not know Matt or his team. Matt acknowledged it seemed like a lot of money for this unexpected change and he actually offered, and performed the fuel injection line flush for free. Yes, for free.

He and his staff seemed personable, and authentic in those interactions. I observed them with other customers getting service who seemed to be content and more long-term with them. I have waited one week before submitting this review and can say it is still running and I've not had another starting problem. Thank you to Matt and your team for taking care of my car and going beyond typical customer service for me. I appreciate what you did.

The gentlemen that helped me with 2 new tires were very nice and professional. Made an appointment online with no trouble, dropped off my car and it was finished within an hour. Great job Conrad's!

I would never go back here! We have used this place numerous times and given them a lot of money. My son went there and forgot to give them the coupon he had ($25) so I called and they told me they wouldn't honor it. It had to be used on a future purchase. Pretty sad they won't honor it. Any reputable company that takes in as much business as they do, you would think would honor a $25 coupon. I didn't realize Conrad's was hurting so bad for money. HORRIBLE!

Excellent service, had a flat when I can out from work after 5 PM and tried to fill the tire with air from a portable inflator. Could hear a hissing sound but got it inflated enough to drive a few blocks. By this time it was 5:25, called Conrad's and said sure they could fit me in. Unfortunately the tire sidewall was damaged, BUT good news, since I bought the tire at Conrad's standard (free) road hazard guarantee was included and brand new prorated tire was under $49.

Much better than the $190 goodyear tire list price. Since the tire was out of stock, they ordered it, put my spare on and took care of everything the next day while I was at work. Next time I might opt for the upgraded road hazard. Conrad's - thank you for fast, professional service!

A few weeks ago my car broke down on the highway during rush hour traffic. I had my car towed to Conrad's and dropped my keys in their drop box. The next morning, approximately 2 hours after they opened for the day, I got a notification with their assessment of my car. I was so impressed with the video assessment that they sent me that showed me the things that were wrong with my car.

It was reassuring to have a video that showed the issues rather than just just take a stranger's word for it. Their facility was very clean and nice, and after I approved the work to be done on my car, they had it done in no time!

It's too bad there's not a 0 stars. King of the up sell. Been here twice in the past 6 months. New tires for one car. Was told needed new brakes and rotors. No thanks. Still no problem months later. Dropped car off today for a noise from front right wheel. Never heard back. Called them and was told it was a wheel bearing. Reasonable. However, also said it needed to have the other front wheel bearing, rear shock, front/ rear differential fluid changed, radiator fluid changed, transmission fluid changed, brake fluid changed and new spark plugs.

All of this was done within the past 15,000 (if needed) at the Audi dealership. Unfortunate that I can't have a specified issue addressed at the "neighborhood" car shop (within walking distance from my house) without being fleeced. Do NOT trust Conrad's.

Close and convenient unfortunately it seems I have a bad experience about every other time. Last week I left there and while on the expressway my hood popped up as it had not been latched. When I called them they said they didnt open it.so it opened itself?

Took 3+ hours to get 2 brake pads changed when i was told it shouldn't take more than 30min-1hr max. EXTREMELY SLOW! And that's not all, after waiting for 3 hours to get this 30min job done they told me that they did not have all of the parts that they needed to complete the job. They told me what time they would for sure have the new parts in the following day and that I should stop by and they will complete the job in 10minutes.

Of course when I show up the following day hours after they said that they would have the parts, they still did not have these parts, so once again i ended up waiting over an hour for a job that should've taken minutes. TRUST ME, DO NOT GO HERE. Your welcome.

I'm not really from the area so I chose Conrads to rotate my tires based on customer reviews. I'm really glad I did. While inspecting the tires they found a piece of steel imbedded in one of my rear tires. The tread on them was significantly less than the front (we pull a 30' Airstream) so they would need to be changed anyway but having caught this at any other time could have avoided a serious accident.

They didn't have the tires on hand but had them by 1630hrs they same day (it's 1730 now and I'm actually in the waiting area) (which is nice btw) and will have them on by close of business at 1800hrs. I ended up paying more monetarily than I expected when I walked in for a simple tire rotation, but when compared to what could have happened had these guys not been on their game, I feel like I came out way ahead.

Every single person I came into contact with here was genuine and seemed to care about what they do and how they treat people. I wish they were in my home town. Thanks for possibly saving my life guys!

I'm not sure of the details of the other people's complaints. I have not had a similar experience. I take both my family vehicles here and I am always well taken care of. Bob and I are on a first name basis at this point. I have 2 tire warranties if I have a problem they just fix it. They take care of all my car maintenance. If I don't need something they tell me. My appointments are honored and if I have an emergency and they have no appointments I can usually leave my truck and they will fit me in. DK

I've done business with conrads for many years. Usually I have to wait if I just drop in. Other times I've waited when they discovered misaligned. I now call before I go. That helps.

I've done business with these folks several times and its always the same: show up and wait and wait. They always claim to be short handed and can't accommodate emergencies. When I buy a tire there and I'm having issues with it, just take a moment to look it over so I can make a plan. With them, you wait and wait. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere that has meaningful customer service.
