Colorado Collision Repair

This company was a disaster to work with. I got an estimate in May from them to do some body work on my 2019 Toyota 4Runner. I confirmed my appointment in May with Teresa for the repairs to be done June 13th at 8am. I wrote the appointment in my calendar and even took the vehicle in for the manager to look at while I was near the area to see the damages before I brought it in for repair.

I gave them pictures previous to this because I live 2.5 hours away. On June 13, the day of my scheduled appointment, I drove 2.5 hours from Hartsel, where I live, picked up my rental car, then drove to Colorado Collision to drop off my 4Runner. I WAS NOT EVEN IN THEIR CALENDAR! The manager was on the phone for like 10 minutes before he finally acknowledged me, we had a few words and then I just left.

He basically told me that the soonest he could get me in was the end of August with a "sorry"! All he knew to say was that I evidently didn't get in the schedule and that I should have known that I would get a text confirming my appointment a week in advance (like the dentist)! How was I to know that?! I don't know how they perform as far as body work goes because I never had a chance to use them.

I see that before I will be submitting this review they are at only a 3.4. I will be adding to that low review. I wish they had been more professional and at least tried to act like they cared that I just went 5 hours out of my way to get there and back rather than the attitude "stinks to be you" which is basically how the manager made me feel. I will never go back there and I will never recommend this unprofessional company to any of my friends.

I think these guys need to update their appointment system and get a more customer service friendly attitude. They could have at least done SOMETHING. If they would have at least covered my rental car for the day (I rented it for about an hour and paid for a full day), I would have felt a little better about the situation. No one, including Teresa ever took any blame for the matter. HERE IS MY FOLLOW-UP REVIEW. after finally talking to the owner, Todd. Todd, basically told me what the manager said -- that he does not acknowledge they had done anything wrong and were not willing to make anything right.

He just kept making excuses why it could not be their fault. I FINALLY got a sorry toward the end, but I said that a "sorry" is better given in action - then DO something to SHOW your sorry! I am out $85 for my car rental and a whole lot of expensive gas going 5 hours out of my way only to be told they could not keep the original appointment. He also told me he didn't think reviews really meant anything.

Great work and service.my truck was completed right on schedule.the bodywork and paint match was excellent.

Please see photos! Would not recommend! 0 stars if I could. Very upset about the paint job, on the door that had no damage at all! After receiving my car this way and questioning about why it looks this way, they gave me excuse after excuse, blaming everyone and everything instead of making it right. Also very rude and yelling at me on the phone, both Tammy and owner Todd.

First it was "your insurance didn't cover the paint blend to the front door" (my insurance adjuster said there was nothing he declined that they requested), then "it looks this way because of previous paint job" - note my door looked perfect when I dropped the car off. In my opinion, a straight line is not a blend and should not look obvious.

Just a warning to others to avoid the headache and go somewhere your insurance will guarantee the shops work; if I have- this paint job would be fixed. I trusted this shop as I have used them in the past multiple times (years ago), and wanted to support a local business. Come to find out they are not what they use to be and I don't think they enjoy what they do anymore.

They did a great job on a car everyone else wanted to total out. Tammy and the crew were willing to work with us and kept us in the loop during the repairs. Happy we brought the car here. Definitely would recommend them. Services: Painting, Body & Trim

My car was transferred to this location from the Arvada branch, which concerned me initially given I am not familiar with their work. Once they had received my car, they called me to let me know of all damages they found from the car accident. Throughout the process of them fixing my car, they kept me updated every step of the way and dealt with all of my questions and concerns.

When I got my car back from them, it was cleaned inside and out, the paint on my front bumper (which had been replaced) matched perfectly to the neighboring panels and looked flawless. Also, after I had my car back for a few days, Tammy from Broomfield location reached out to me to make sure all of the work done was up to my expectations. I am happy to say that I now have two collision repair shops that I would strongly recommend (Colorado Collision Broomfield and Arvada) (before and after photos attached. Disclaimer: after photos were taken 3/2/21 I got my car back on 2/26/21 and that is why it is slightly dirty)

Tammy and the staff was amazing. My bumper was damaged and they were $2100 LESS than the place I took it first, ( rhymes with bender genders). It took a cpl days longer than I expected, but they had to get a part from Dodge to finish. Extremely satisfied with thier work. Highly recommend.

Someone bumped into my car, and a mechanics recommended this shop for body work. Colorado Collision & Repair went above and beyond to get the job done, even fixed some old scratches (no extra cost). My 3-year old car is now like brand-new (well, exterior at least). Definitely positive experience. Thanks.

Colorado Collision Repair was timely and easy to work with. They worked with the at-fault party's insurance to make sure everything was fixed on our vehicle. The work was done in a timely manner and blends in well with the rest of the car. Jake communicated with me frequently to keep me updated.

They did a good job on my son's truck actually found out that the frame was bent after being rear-ended however they claim that there was hail damage on my son's truck and there was obviously no hell damage we have pictures to prove it. In my opinion they should have gotten a insurance adjuster to come evaluate the pickup look for contacting the insurance company and discussing hail damage also there were other things that they said that was wrong with the truck or the truck didn't have my son caught these errors and had to contact the insurance company could get them to add more money

Positive experience all around. My truck was backed into and I was using these guys because they were close by and a the other party's insurance company had them on their list of preferred shops. They were polite, professional, and even though I didn't have to pay for the repair, the estimate seemed super reasonable. The work was top notch and was done in a reasonable amount of time. Not a single complaint.

Wow! Colin is the best! I hated to wait for the repairs but understood, due to the hail damage claims that were backed up. It took a couple of months to even get in there but the wait was worth it. I believe these guys care about your vehicle and definitely about the repair results they meticulously return to their customers. Horrible experience! Took my car to have some body work done from a hit and run accident. After a month of excuses, my car was returned to me completely ransacked! I questioned why everything that was in my car, including my glove box and console was thrown in my trunk. I had personal item missing as well, I was told that a manager would get back to me.

The manager called me back and admitted that my car was broken into while in their lot and things were damaged and stolen. This is why they had my car for so much longer than I was promised. They were not even going to tell me that this happened? I was told that they would do nothing about the stolen items as they are not responsible. They also refuse to fix the door lock that was broken during the break in.

I now have two different keys, when I had one before. I find it completely WRONG, to not inform a customer that their car has been broken in to. I now have stolen identity issues due to the items stolen from my car. If I would have not questioned the condition of my car, Colorado Collision would have never told me the truth! I have placed several phone calls asking for a return call, and never heard back from them! Do not use this shop, they are so far from good customer service it is ridiculous! I am filing a police report!

I was in a little fender bender a couple moths ago by no fault of my own. The other guys insurance provider had Colorado Collision as one of their preferred vendors so I decided to give them a try. I took my car in the week before Memorial Day weekend, and after the big hail storm that hit. They were slammed with business but took my car in the same day, and got it done in 2 short days, BEFORE the holiday weekend!

They even vacuumed and washed my car for me, returning it in better condition than I left it! I highly recommend Colorado Collision. They are very professional and will do a great job!

First off I drop my car off at 8:30am and now I am sitting outside their shop since 5:20pm and they are CLOSED! We went back at 1:30pm to decline the additional damage the front office receptionist quoted us $1500 when originally they quoted $633. We call 3 pm to find out how much longer until our car is ready and what do you know COLLIN is not in the office but he'll call back when he returns. Did he not show back up to finish his work? Was the message even communicated to him?!?!?!

We have a road trip planned to California on Wednesday, it's now 5:40pm on Friday, they are closed weekends and of course closed Monday for Memorial Day, and I ACTUALLY work 8-6:30pm Monday thru Thursday. Wat am I to do?!? Thanks COLLIN for the major inconvenience

The work they do is great! They are idiots though! I brought my vehicle there because it was hit, once fixed thats when the nightmare started! I owed a percentage of a tire that needed to be replaced. I paid it with the money the insurance company give me. Then i had to fight with them and the adjuster for months! The shop claiming i haven't paid my part and wanting me to pay for twice!

After two months of emailing and phone calls from these people, i had to go down there and physically show them the estimate (that they received several times) and the recept ( they printed off for me) before they realized they were wrong! Instead of looking into their own files, they would rather place blame on the customer, and then harass you about it! Hopefully i never need body work done again, but if i do. I will NEVER use these people again!

Fantastic work and great people. Worked everything out with my insurance (despite the insurance company messing everything up multiple times) and let my car like new!

I will not use there service colen is a crook he charge me 614.00 on estimates i was never informed estimates were not free. Besides that they keep my part that were not defected. I had to go for a second time and get the other parts. Theretow service is ridicoulously expensive 188.00 They are out to get you and the insurances. I consider that fraud

A jeep backed up into my rear door, and I needed to get it replaced. I got a couple quotes from local shops. Colo Collision was willing to track down and order a used door to match my car. I dropped it off, and when I picked it up, they had found a door cheaper than the quote. They did a good job to provide a reasonable replacement that matched and looked good. I walked away paying almost $200 less than the initial quote. Matt was really helpful and the service was excellent.

Have dealt with CCR twice now: once because I dented in my back bumper on my SUV by over turning my utility trailer and punching a hole in the bumper w/ the spare tire. I paid (no insurance claim etc) and they were extremely reasonable on price, expedient, and super friendly. I felt taken care of. The second time, my husband got in a car accident and had our car towed there for them to check out the damage.

I called ahead of time (our first accident) and they talked me through the process. They were again very friendly and personable. Husband's car was totaled so no insurance claim but CCR allowed us to keep the car at their building without charging us a fee to keep it there for several days. They gave us a quote for towing it off for scrap metal and when I found a metal company that offered us way more, they happily said, "take the deal it's great!" without being put off. I will definitely use them again if needed.

No zero star option? Guess they get one. These crooks will mislead and deflect to avoid telling you the real story or giving you a real timeline to plan for. They do not have the capacity to manage big collision repairs. It will take 2-3 times longer here than any reputable shop. Please, find a shop with a good recommendation from someone you trust. You will regret using these clowns.
