We use colonial auto for all of our car repairs. We recently brought in our Ford Explorer which had a problem with the automatic rear seat storage system. Rather than charging us over $1000 by replacing parts, the seats were repaired creatively using some securing bolts. This alternative approach saved us $700 and the solution aesthetically looks great. Not every repair shop would have done this. We are very appreciative! Mike and Kathy Davis

Worst car repair that I wouldn't give one star if I could. Took my mothers old van to get brakes fixed and drove a mile down the road but had to reverse and all you heard was cranking noises, everyone looked. I took it back and the guy drove it and said it was fine until I told him to go in reverse. Then he said it's cause the brakes were new. No it kept making those noises and the brakes gave out with my mother and step father driving! They ended up getting a new car an didn't want to press it further.

Polite, pleasant and prompt! Efficient and willing to answer questions with understandable info for the layperson. Never pushes just an informed suggestion. Dan is super!

Colonial does a great job, has been servicing my vehicles for 10 years. Very busy for a reason, excellent service at a fair price.

I have used Colonial for some time and they are nothing short of professional in servicing my vehicles. I get prompt service, many times I can get my car the very next day. They are courteous, very reasonable and will advise with any other issues they may discover. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. I am sure that when you use them you will become a repeat customer. It is awesome to have them so nearby.

I brought my truck there for repairs over holiday weekend my starter went. The garage was spotless and the men that ran it acted in a perfessional manner. Fast service

Called this shop out of the blue for help with my car and they went out of their way to accommodate me. It was obvious they are very experienced but were also courteous and pleasant. Do not hesitate.

This place is the best! Dan & Brian are so knowledgeable. My whole family & friends have been going there for years. They have fixed things on cars that the dealer couldn't figure out. The price is very reasonable also. Bottom line you want it done right from certified & trained technicians with out the dealership prices. Go there.

If you're going to screw up, you should at least try to make it right. I took my car here to get the timing belt replaced and after driving it for about 10 miles the check engine light went on. We called Colonial right away and they said there was nothing they could do to help. I took the car to the dealership where I was told Colonial had slapped on an ill-fitting aftermarket piece that had come loose.

When I brought my complaint to Colonial they refused to accept any responsibility or compensate me for what it cost to fix their error. That's just bad customer service. In response to the owner's comment below: We DID call the shop first and the woman who answered the phone just said "we can't help you, we're too busy." If we had been told the car was ok to drive, this wouldn't be a problem but we had no idea. This shop is a mess, avoid at all costs.

Dan is a very nice and honest mechanic. Being a mechanic myself and not having time to fix my personal vehicle I brought it to him and he fixed it quickly, also great communication. Had an issue a few days later and he resolved it right away. He stands by his work and is excellent at electrical diagnosis, even when dealing with my demon mustang. Highly recommended.
