Collision One

I took a vehicle to this shop & when I picked up I noticed my dome light wasn't working (it wasn't the bulb), black window caulking all over my perfect grey interior, tears in my window tint on 3 of the windows(it's 4 door so 6 windows total), several new dings in the body(it's black so easy to see)the owner himself (Booo)told me "you are just way to picky I'm not working on your vehicle anymore " & threatened to call the police if I didn't immediately leave!

I Have always had excellent service, but I recently took my vehicle in for an estimate from a minor accident. I had some blemishes and scratches that I asked about having fixed while they had it and a gentlemen came out and buffed the scratches out while I was waiting for the estimate. That's the type of customer service that keeps customers loyal.

Very professional they call and let you know how the work is going and what's going on this is how a business supposed to operate I hope everything works out well for them cuz so far they're doing a great job handling my truck

I had front fender damage, along with a deep scratch down the driver side doors. We both agreed that a new fender should be installed on my truck. I received a voice message from them stating that they now wanted to leave the front fender on the vehicle and they would definitely confirm this with me BEFORE proceeding. I called them the next morning but could not get the same person on the phone.

I called the next two days, still not able to get the same service person but I left a message that I wanted the new fender installed instead of having a new truck with a fender stuffed with body filler. The next day, I received a message that the truck was ready for inspection. The first thing I discovered, when looking under the hood, was a few pine needles on top of the inner fender well.

Then I could see the bare weld spots present where the dent pulling process had burned through the paint on the inside of the fender. I knew immediately that the fender was patched up. The manager thought it has been replaced and tried to tell me that they had told me they were leaving the fender, I still have the message they left me on my phone stating that they would confirm with me their changes.

It never happened and I now have a truck all filled with body filler. Exactly what I wanted to avoid and I thought I could trust them to do the right thing. It would be great if they would replace the fender so I could tell everyone that they made everything correct with this big lack of communication on their side. What a disappointment for me, a car guy, that was referred to them by several people!

I thought about leaving the truck and insisting on the new fender but I had already lost my confidence in their shop since they originally told me that matching the paint would be no problem. Then the shop manager told me that they left the fender on because they were concerned with matching the paint! For people that don't know about cars, they would have been charged for a new fender that they didn't get installed, along with other bogus charges that are still present on my bill!

Want your car worse off than you brought it to the mechanic? If so I would definitely use this place. Piece of debris fell off a car and struck my wife's vehicle. Insurance company recommended this place so we used them and somehow this went from all cosmetic damage to the the power steering being messed up and a mystery puncture in the tire. Stay far far away from this place, they will lie and make nonsensical statements to avoid being accountable for their actions. Garbage company.

I was recommended Collision One because my mother is an insurance agent & my family has always used Beau and the team for repairs. Unfortunately, I was in two accidents within a year, one T-bone, and the other I swiped a pole. So one insurance claim, the other out-of-pocket. The team did a fabulous job on BOTH accidents to my car, my baby. Paint match was pristine, and the parts replacement was flawless.

I always ask for no after-market parts, so make sure to specify. If you are paying out of pocket: only cash or certified cashier's check doesn't have a 3.5% fee added. I paid with cash. Upon return, my car was washed, waxed, vacuumed, and wiped down! You'll be sure to ride of that parking lot in style!

Collision One is a wonderful company to work with. Every person was helpful and caring. They made sure I was happy and taken care of. My car was with them for close to two months and they kept me informed every step of the way. The work was top quality and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend them! I had a minor fender bender. After doing a search on the company suggested by the other persons insurance company, l wasn't impressed from the reviews. After doing some research l decided on Collision One. After several delays with the insurance company, everything was completed. Very please with the finished work. The office staff was very knowledge and helpful getting everything completed. The bodywork on my vehicle is perfect. I would recommend Collision One to anyone that need body work done on their vehicle. Thanks again for a great job.

Possibly the worst customer service I have experienced. No communication from the shop as delays pile up. My vehicle is currently at 3 weeks in their shop. They have "80-100 vehicles at all times yours isn't the only car we are working on". Clearly they are too busy to care about an individual customer, after all once they have your parts deposit what are you going to do? Eat that loss and go elsewhere? I don't know who to use in the Richmond area but I can sure tell you who to avoid.

I took my car here after having them recommended by my sister. I can't state enough how impressed I am with the service I received here. The turn around was fast. Everything was fixed just the way I asked and delivered on time. I specifically want to mention a gentleman named Bob that worked with me from beginning to end addressing any question I had promptly and always keeping in touch with me ensuring that I was never wondering what was going on with my repair or what's take it was in, Bob went above and beyond to ensure I was well cared for and that I was happy throughout the entire process.

Every employe I encountered and dealt with was incredibly helpful and professional. I will be recommending Collision One to anyone and everyone from here on out. They earned my businesses now and in the future through their hard work and professionalism. Like a lot of aftermarket CF hoods mine had a fitment issue. On the passenger side, midway along the fender the hood was about a to 3/8 of an inch higher than the fender. I tried to live with it for several years but finally it bugged me too much. Beau and his team at Collision One did an outstanding job of getting me fixed up. Beau had done other projects for me in the past so I knew they did great work and were professional.

I thought the fitment issue would require big mods to fix but Josh, one of Beau's outstanding staff came up with a fantastic solution. They ended up making a piece that bolts under the fending that recontoured the fender to match the hood (thank heaven for Corvette fiberglass flexibility). The added bonus was no permanent mods. If I ever need to revert back to my stock hood I just remove the contour spacer, how ingenious. A big thank you to Beau, Josh and all of the team at Collision One!

Great customer service and great work. Every time I called I got a quality update. When I picked up not only did the repair look great, they also detailed the entire car. Definitely recommend.

At the risk of having everyone bring in their RVs, I have never experienced better service from a shop or been happier. They know their business, handling the claims process so all I had to worry about were the lines and finish on my coach, which were PERFECT upon delivery. Professional, courteous, and TRUSTWORTHY. I won't let anyone else touch my coach.

Collision One did a great job fixing a large crack in the nose of my 1968 Corvette. They also fixed a large chip on the side of my hood and painted my hood vent. They said they wouldn't be able to match the paint but they did. They blended it perfectly and you can't even tell where the repairs were made. The customer service and quality were excellent.

I worked with the owner Beau and he's top notch. He explained everything in detail making me feel comfortable the repairs would be done right. I am very pleased with the service I received and I highly recommend Collision One.

My husband and I have been dropping off our vehicles at Collision One for years. We were constantly on the go with my husband's job, so of course living in many cities, our cars have been banged up quite a bit. We finally settled down in the Mechanicsville area and have discovered that Collision One has probably the best body technicians around.

We were in the city, and of course, someone basically plowed right into the back of my car. We had them tow it to Collision one. My husband always likes to talk to the technicians, just to pick their brains. Frankly, I think he's always wanted to be a body technician. ANYWAY-- and this cutie came strolling out, Steven? Stevie? Steve? Well, one of those names, came out and politely and professionally spoke with my husband about the damages and how it was fixed.

My husband has never been more impressed with how educated the technician was. Not to mention, i didn't mind having a glance at him either-- such a cutie! We'll definitely be back (but hopefully not too soon.) Thanks again Collision One! Your technicians are amazing!

Beau and his team did an amazing job repairing and repainting my Mustang! I could not be happier. The car looks brand new again! Absolutely Perfect! Beau's attention to detail is meticulous. He does not cut corners. You will not be disappointed!

Let's start with the finished product. Work was very well done and looked perfect. Very pleased with the final fix. Now the problems. It took way longer then promised. Was originally told to bring the car in as early as possible on the appointment date, which was a Monday. Took it in Sunday and dropped the keys. Was told that the parts would be there, ready to go.

Tear down on Monday to make sure they had all they needed and if good, work on Tuesday including painting, then re-assembly and finish up on Wednesday. Found out Wednesday at 4:30 that there were problems with the paint job that morning (thought they painted on Tuesday) and car would not be ready. Long holiday weekend, but somebody "might work Friday" to catch back up, so car might be ready Monday.

I called Tuesday morning and was told "hopefully" the car would be ready by the end of the day. The wife called 15 minutes later, not knowing that I had already called, and was told more parts had to be ordered and the car would not be ready, "for another day it two". She told him it was a problem with the paint job on Wednesday, but now it required more parts.

His response was " ohhh that Sonata" and "we'll get back in touch. Finally, I tried to call the owner who had"just left". My wife did finally pickup the car that afternoon around 4:45. "Sorry it took so long" was the best she got. Bottom line: Great looking job, but definitely NOT worth the hassle. Maybe if they would have given some firm answers instead of "we hope" or "maybe" or "we'll get back to you later", it might have been a better experience. They say they pride themselves on being "customer driven". Well, they have driven this customer away

Had to have repair work done on my jeep due to accident on the way home from Atlanta. Could not have asked for better service. Very impressed

The shop did a great job. I had visited the shop for a fender-bender, intending to go back for the repair when I took vacation later in the summer. When I had a second accident almost three months later and had to get the car fixed, they honored that first estimate. The job was completed in less than a week and looked great. Not only was my car shiny and looking better than new, they even applied tire dressing and even cleaned out the leaves lodged in and cleaned my tailgate weatherstripping, which hadn't been damaged at all. Highly recommended.
