They don't stand by there work. My car was painted in July now the paint started pealing off they are saying I hit something and that's why it's coming off. There are no signs that I hit anything. Took to another body shop and they told me it wasn't prepped right. Took to back to them and they said it doesn't need to be prepped. BEWARE I Wouldn't let them paint a match box car!

Critical: Professionalism, Quality, Value They quoted $1,000 for repar of a rear side panel that was disloged. I went to Ryan's autobody in Ocean and they snapped it back on for free.

I ended up here through my insurance after getting rear-ended.and here's the super wild part: Collex was incredible. Super clear communication the entire time, great service in arranging my rental at a local agency and to top it off, my car was actually finished a day early. They knew my insurance process and made it super easy to get going again. I hope you don't *need* them anytime soon, but if you do, this is a spectacular option.

My black car had lots of white paint on it from being sideswiped while parked. Collex got the paint off and buffed it and it's good as new. Fast and no charge. Have been there previously and they do great body work too. Amazing!

The staff here is amazing. I needed some repairs due to a car accident. Parts were hard to come by, but they kept in touch with me throughout the process. It's very well organized when you arrive their parking spots have a phone number to call to let them know you are there. They promptly come to meet you by your car and go over what is going to be done, how long it will take, etc.

I had dealt with a Mike, who was really helpful and friendly. I dropped my car off with the expectation that they would have it for 4 days, they had it back in 3. I had the front bumper replaced, and when the car was returned it was spotless, inside and out--not only did they clean the outside, they vacuumed the entire inside as well. As far as cost, I really couldn't say if it was reasonable, over, under, etc., I'm not familiar with all the work that was involved and what it would cost, however, I was really pleased with the service and the updates throughout the whole process.

Someone backed up out of his driveway into my car. He replies "Well normally, a car isn't parked there". Well guess what MF, today there is (was). No apologies, he even had the wherewithal to say the damage "couldn't really be seen". Came to Collex for my estimate and guess what, that unseen damage costs you round $1900 buddy. Collex was quick, gave a fair estimate, and they were very professional.

The Husband has gotten his fenders & benders fixed here before and they did a thorough and superb job (keep reading if you want to find out the ending) The guy finally paid up. A policeman neighbor of his who just happens to be my cousin in law and witness to the scene of the accident stopped by his house a few times to deliver said Collex quote but he "would pretend he wasn't home". He also didn't have a "working phone". So I mailed it #savetheusps #twobirds

Took my new F150 to Collex after I hit a deer. They were professional, kind and courteous from the moment I called to make an appointment. The whole process was smooth. I received the sweetest "progress updates" from my truck (they made me laugh). The repair was done quickly and the work is great. My truck looks wonderful. After a horrific experience with T&J in Red Bank, Collex restored my faith. I highly recommend them.

Collex takes the hassle out of dealing with auto body repairs! They communicated quickly and effectively with my insurance company, getting my estimate done ASAP. I happened to be in the office while one of their team meetings was going on and I was very impressed - reviewing each car in their inventory and the progress they had made in repairs. The front desk arranged a rental car for me and transportation to/from Enterprise.

Brought my Cadillac into the shop based on many Middletown Residents recommendations. Having run over debris in the road the drivers side door had a deep 8 scratch, the front bumper scratched and the rear tire punctured. From first call to pick up staff kept me informed. Car picked up on dAte promised and it looked brand new. Paint job is beautiful and perfectly matched.

Brand new tire and rim puts the other 3 to shame. Plus they vacuumed interior and wiped down dust on dashboard. Note: Another plus if you need a rental it is right up road from Enterprise Rental in Red Bank. Great experience there too - tHey gave me a ride back to Collex after rental drop.

Collex's entire staff did an excellent job from start to finish. Even though my insurance company dragged out the process of waving my deductible for nearly six weeks, Collex kept me updated on the process and everyone there was efficient, knowledgeable, and pleasant. When it was time to have my car repaired, I scheduled an appointment, they set up my car rental, and my car was returned in less than two days.

They did an excellent job on the repairs; in fact, they did such a good job cleaning the exterior and interior of my car, I thought I got into the wrong car. I would recommend Collex Collision to anyone and everyone.

In June 2019, I was hit by a car that ran a stop sign. After losing control of the wheel, my car went across the center line of the road, through a fence, and into a local farm. After insurance was handled, Collex Auto Body fixed my car within two weeks. Since my car is a year old (2018 Hyundai Tucson), I was afraid it would never drive the same. However, it rides BETTER than it did prior to the accident.

As the car had a total damage cost of over $13,000, one would not expect it to look brand new, but it does. Collex not only fixed the damage, but painted the car, and even got it washed prior to me picking it up. The level of professionalism and understanding from the office staff and labor team is unmatched, and is what you need when you are in a situation like I was in. I have used Collex in the past and had good experiences till recently. My daughter had a collision and I told her to take the car to Collex for an estimate. The associate at Collex refused to do a documented estimate and said the repairs would cost around $4000. I recently received the estimate and it was less than $2000, repairs are underway and I will not be using Collex again. There is enough stress to deal with after an accident, this kind of apathetic service does not deserve to be rewarded with my business.

Highly recommend. Took my vehicle there after I was rear ended based on recommendation of my insurance company. Estimate was done in under 30mins and repair scheduled after insurance approved. Collex handled everything directly with insurance and car was finished a day early. The team was very helpful and made the process as painless as possible.

Dropped off my truck for repairs today morning and was extremely impressed from their service. The front desk staff were very pleasant. I believe the person I spoke to was Gabriel. She was very helpful and took take care of my rental car right away. I would highly recommend this shop.

Just picked up my 2015 Kia Forte back from shop after a deer ran into the right front of vehicle. Damaged headlight and front valance and fender and door. They did a phenomenal job with everything from body alignment to matching the paint. We are very pleased with the repair and communication throughout the whole process and found a lifetime warranty on the repair as well as the paint job.

If need be which I hope not, will use Collex Collision in the future and also definitely recommend this repair facility for your Autobody repairs. Thank you Collex Collision. Top shelf experience.

I don't know u guys how to define "complete ". But in my opinion, it means that done and wait customer comes to pick up. Collect told me my car would be done in 1/10. But when I came to, the front desk told me I still need wait because they still not finished. It's so bad. I made plan but now I need change all my plan because their "complete ".

Showed up with no appointment after a run-in with a deer. Asked for a ballpark estimate of how long it would take to complete the repairs. They said a month - which seemed like a long time until I thought about all the work involved. I got a call with an estimate later in the day when they told me it would be three weeks. The work was completed a day early and it looks great. I've used them before and will use them again (hopefully I won't need to!).

A few weeks after moving to NJ (and having a pretty terrible month), my car gets rear ended by a neighbor. Luckily for me, the honest person left her information and I found Collex Collision Experts to work on my car. I actually chose them based on Yelp reviews so it only made sense to go here. The ladies inside the office were friendly and efficient.

My appointment was made, my rental car was set up through them and caused me little inconvenience the few days they had my car. I have had to visit Collex more times than I wish I have had to but this is the place to go! First of all, everybody is smiling and pleasant. They explain everything thoroughly from insurance to body work. The work they do is top notch and guaranteed. They are prompt and work is always done on time. A while back, my car was hit and the other driver was in a company truck. There was minor damage. The company did not have insurance on that truck, nor was the driver/employee insured. I needed to get a couple of estimates since the company truck owner said he would pay out-of-pocket. I went to 3 different body shops. The first 2 had estimates done within a half hour.

Being that my husband and I used to work in the auto body industry, I went to Collex for an estimate knowing how their operations worked and how their jobs were scheduled compared to other shops. I was told I would have to make an appointment. Mind you, they have several "in-house" estimators and there were no other customers in their office at the time.

It seems to me that in this day and age, any business would surely welcome business, regardless of the amount of the job. Needless to say, I didn't make an appointment. Regardless of the amount of damage to be repaired, Collex, in my opinion, did not live up to its slogan of "making an uncomfortable situation comfortable".

I would never do business with colex ever again. They try to get a extra dollar every where they can. The customer service is the worst, they told me the car was going to be done on the 20th early morning then when calling them on the 20th to tell them i was on my way to pick up the car they told me it wont be done until the end of the day. The lady at the front desk is rude and they also asked me to pay more then what the insurance claim check was for.

When to pick up the car today and was very angry with quality of the work. The paint of the car is completely different from the original, scratches all over the car and paint splashes all over the car. Waited a whole month for nothing please same your self time and look for a different place. I'm even missing things from my car. I had college books in the car and they are all gone.

I can't believe that they would steal from my vehicle. They said they did an alignment on my car but my car is driving worse then before and now my steering wheel in vibrating. Do not go here!

If I could give more stars I would. I'm ashamed to admit that this is the third time that I've needed repairs but I would not that my car anywhere else. The staff is great to work with and the work is perfection. Thanks again Collex.

About 9 years ago we had our car repaired there after being rear-ended. They did a wonderful job, on-time, handled all the insurance, and the car still looks like new 9 years later. Today I brought in a car for a non-insurance related estimate and they were fast, courteous and thorough in providing me an estimate. Top notch.
