Like most, we were vacationing up from Houston, transmission went out in the suburban, (damn mountains lol), found them on here and took it in Wednesday morning and by Thursday at 4pm we were out the door, transmission REPLACED! Price was fair, I called back home to check it and they were spot on. Can't give enough praise to Lester and Phil and the entire group! We didn't miss a beat on our vacation! Strong work gentleman!!

If you're needing your transmission worked on while in the Tennessee area, then I would recommend Chip's Transmission. Not only do they have the knowledge of what their doing , they treat their customers as if they were family. They went above and beyond what was required to be sure that we were satisfied. I would highly recommend this business to ANYONE who may need help in the south!!! Friends and family. Thank you Chip's for your kind courtesy, and getting us back on the road in a timely manner!!

I was stranded on the road with my trucks transmission. I tried to get help from the Ford dealerships. They were to busy and had no desire to help me even with my truck being a ford product?? I called 3 dealerships none of them would look at it for at least a week. I stumbled onto Chips Transmission shop on a search on the internet for local shops.
They were helpful from the start!! Lester was the service writer got me in with no hassle and Phil took care of my transmission issues and had me back on the road in no time. They knew' I was in a bind with this truck and could have very easily taken advantage of my situation "BUT" THEY DIDN'T.... My truck rental for #2 days was more $ than my repair. GREAT SERVICE AND GREAT PEOPLE ALL THE WAY AROUND! Many THANKS to all at Chips!!!
