Captain Towing

Do not use this Company! They are a scam operation! Visitors car was towed from Richfield Square parking lot twice in a week. The Apartment management said they don't have a contract with Captain Towing. They should not be in their lot. It's a scam! They come into the lot and look for any car without a registration and take it. Police don't get involved. Towing company had the car for 12 hours $315.00. They had no right to take it. I don't deserve 1 star. NO STARS!

They literally towed my own car from my own apartment. No I wasn't parked in the wrong area. Yes I had a parking permit. This place is trash.

It seems this business has only 1 star and 5 stars and nothing in between! Common sense tells me the 1 star are legitimate feedback reviews, while the 5 stars are phony, business owner feedback reviews!

Critical: Professionalism One of there drivers was road raging and using there spotlight to blind me while driving. I had to call 911 on them as they were very aggressive and behaving dangerously. Driver ran multiple stop sings and even a red light. Please do not use this company as they have no value for the safety of others.

I've never had my car towed ever but today I left all negative thoughts out! Chris (Kris) was so friendly and helpful she made the process go fast. We called Captain Towing and they were so fast, kind, professional, and the customer service we received from the owner and Ben the tow truck driver was truly some of the best service we've had with a business! This company towed my truck from apartment parking lot with a visible visitor permit. I was to travel back to New Jersey at 4AM. Came out and the truck was gone. Called 911 and they told me the truck was towed. The guy didn't even know there was a parking permit on the rear view mirror. How do you tow a car with a parking permit? I am so inconvenienced and so mad. I am considering sueing them and reporting them to the state. This is very unprofessional. I wish I could give them zero stars.

My sons 2013 AWD Subaru Impreza was towed to their facility and sat overnight. My son picked it up in the morning, drove it approximately 15 feet and heard a noise underneath, called me and I told him to go in and let someone there know, he was told that they did nothing wrong, car was dollied, if you can prove we did something wrong we will fix it, never offered to look at it, nothing but denial.

I called twice and spoke with an employee and the owner, more denial of any wrong doing and zero offers of any assistance, I live out of state so there's not much I can do from where I am. Found them extremely rude and not helpful at all, didn't ask for tow and would never ask or recommend to anyone EVER., Looking at roughly $2500.00 in repairs, new transmission and rear differential, diagnosed in local transmission shop. (who are very friendly and helpful and have great reviews as well) Rated 1 star only because it made me.

Be careful. Very dishonest. Will give you ranges and then you get charged a lot of of extra for non-sense, items. Quoted me 10 miles free and the driver insisted in charging for mileage and other items, way outside of the higher end of the range provided. Be careful, specially if they use Christopher's Tow.

Needed to have a vehicle towed from my property today. They got here a lot faster than I'd anticipated, the driver was very personable and professional. This was my first time using Captain and it won't be my last! Thank you for such great service!

This service saved me! Was in a store parking lot when my car with no warning would not start and it wasn't the battery! The tow came quickly, they even had a repair shop they recommended, the tow fee was reasonable, the repair shop Pro Quick Lube and Auto Repair at Rosemeade and Marsh - did a thorough job for a fair price, and we're back in business. Very grateful!

Distressed drivers in need of mobile battery replacement beware. this is an extremely expensive web advertised service. Just for the call Captain Towing requests Credit Card and the Service Call is $90 + Cost of the Battery + Mechanic fee betwen $60-90 for which they will absolutely charge you $90. I received a call confirming mechanic was on his way and within 1 hour and 20 minutes he finally made it. After spending 5 minutes replacing old battery he demanded total cash payment on top of charging a fee of $90. Beware of these obscene charges.

RUN! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If I could give this "business" a less than one star rating, I would. Their capacity to prey on those who are in a dire situation is unmatched. Their inability to accurately provide a total fees analysis is unparalleled. Their ridiculous customer service agent is unprofessional, at best. At best, he's a lowlife whose only excitement, in life, is knowing that he has just screwed an another person who called seeking help.

They know that once they underpromise their arrival time (20-30 min) and you give them your card number (because that's the only way they will send help!) that you're stuck and they will get their money either way. And don't even get me started on their condescending "God Bless You" after you call them back to question their business practices. God will bless me, don't you worry, your business model on the other hand needs more than just a blessing!

Watched a newer f550 bed driving around maplewood without his bed in bedlocks on HWY 61. Not only not safe but incredibly hard on equipment. If they dont care enough too ensure proper utilization of the safety features on their trucks with the possibilty of damaging their own trucks how do you think their attention too detail is on your car

Called them when my husband's car stalled. "Randall" spoke so fast, I had to have him repeat everything. Now, when a person is having car issues, they are thinking about a lot of other things at the same time, trying to tow their vehicle. "Randall" went through the whole process them blurted out numbers. To actually get a price, I asked him AGAIN how much was the tow.

Very fast, he said "after the maintenance call fee (which is $59, no numbers, just the words maintenance fee. I didn't hear that part until I had the driver let me listen to the recording, I'll explain further why) then it will be $35 - $75 (actual numbers being quoted) then a few dollars per mile after that. I repeated to him "$35-$75?" He said yes.

I said "ok let's do it." You have to give your credit/debit card over the phone, before they dispatch a wrecker. "Randall" then stated that the card would NOT be charged till after the tow. Within minutes after hanging up, I received a call from the tow guy. Speedy service, I will say. He met us at the car, then told is it would be $140! That's when it went south.

I called Captain Towing and spoke to "Randall" and got nothing but attitude, then was told my card had already been charged the $59, told they were going to impound my car and when I said I would call the police, he stated "good, it will make it easier on us." I asked to hear my recorded phone call, he said he would only send it to the driver. I finally gave up and just paid the $59.

The driver was very courteous and understanding. He is the reason for the 1 star. But if you are looking to use this company, know that there are HIDDEN fees that the person answering the phone tries to rush through and that even you decide not to use the service, they will still charge you.

My son had a flat tire on the Dallas North Toll way. He called Delta towing which is now called Captain towing and he was quoted $89.00 fee plus mileage. His car was towed 5 miles to a good year store and the bill was $257.00 OMG what a rip off. I called the people twice to complain and they put you in a never ending hold on the telephone until you get frustrated enough to hang up. I'm going after them. No telling how many other people they rip off daily

I had called various other towing companies and they said the earliest they could help me was 3 hrs later. When I called Captain Towing they said it would be approx 30min. The technician was there promptly and answered all my questions great! I am happy I called Captain Towing. I would recommend their service to anyone.

Great service! Really good estimates! The communication is outstanding. They call you when they are headed out and when they are getting close to your location. Also a follow up call when your car is dropped at the destination. Javier was the gentleman who I dealt with and was extremely courteous and helpful. I'm not sure how but these guys made my towing experience actually enjoyable and not so much painful. Thanks for everything! Will be contacting y'all again if I need the service.

My battery died and I was in Dallas to help a family member at the doctor so this was not what I needed but this company was fast and very professional they had be up and running in no time I would highly recommend this company

That was my first time that i had to use a tow service in my life, I broke down on the side of the HWY, I was really mad, I thought I am going to spend hours on that, I called this guys within 25 min there technician was on site, after another 15 min the car was loaded and within 30 min i was at home eating dinner, they guy was really professional and kind , seems like he knew what he was doing. The price was fair, I hope I wont need to use this kind of services again but if ill need, ill definitely use them again.

It was a very comfortable experience. The driver was knowledgeable about everything he was doing and answered any questions I had. I also had to get a ride to the mechanic shop and the driver was friendly the whole way.

After calling several companies in the middle of rush hour, while other companies were giving me a 2-3hours wait time, I kept calling found this company. The person who answered the phone when i called was really friendly... They're Very on time... Fast and efficient... Reasonable price; they were very careful with my car. Will call them again just in-case I need their service. :)) which I hope I won't, but if I do they are the guys to go with.

My car I s really low profile and I had 2 flats. The first company that showed up could not tow it because they didn't have the equipment needed. I called these guys and they did a fantastic job, they came prepared with skates and my car was finally towed! Not cheap but you get what you pay for, thanks guys
