At Bob's Motor Workshop, it is our goal to bring you the highest quality service available. It's not enough for us to just repair your automobile, no matter how technical the task may be, we must make sure that all of your interests are protected and all potential problem situations are addressed before they arise. In order to be successful we must sell our goods at a profit and still satisfy our customers.

If we satisfy the customer but fail to get the profit, we will soon be out of business. If we get the profit, but fail to satisfy the customer, we will soon be out of customers.

Does good work, knowledgeable. Good communication, except for cost related issues. I was charged $75 for an inspection sticker that included a "check over for safety inspection" that surprised me, the labor to install a battery was verbally quoted at "about $25" and the charge was $35, when I asked which battery was going to be installed he told me the brand, not the model, and assured me he never had issues with it. More transparency and mere detailed answers to my questions would have earned you more stars. Edit, thanks For the response and clarifying.

I can't recommend after my own experience. Update: After seeing the response from the boss. I would give many details but then they would know who I am. Their diagnosis(s) cost me a lot of money in repairs that didn't need to be done. The things they charged me $2000 to fix did not solve the problem they insisted would be solved. They also forgot to put things back in the car that they took out in order to make repairs, when I asked about the body parts kicking around inside the car I was told, "you don't need that".

After being informed on my receipts of other repairs that needed be done, I got second & 3rd opinions and it turned out most was not in fact needed. A few days after finally getting a sticker, my check engine light came back on I was told we'll worry about it next year and it stayed on the entire sticker period. If you like guessing what's wrong with your car?

This is the place to go. Not a place I would suggest to a friend. Good luck! ***update. And to think at first you said "This person has never been in my shop". The fact is. I would have come back but my timing belt went and I had to throw the car away. What actually sold me at first was the certified by massachusetts jargon, but what I should have looked for was "certified by the manufacture" of the car I WAS driving. I guess it was my fault to have trusted the state. Good luck & Good riddance.

Brought my 2004 Acura TSX to Bobs Motor Workshop and they wouldn't fix my timing chain because my car is modified. I have a short ram intake, a cat-back exhaust, and an aftermarket steering wheel. Appearantly it's a liability. I respect the decision they made but I don't agree with it. Very unsatisfying.

I used to live the next town over from Bob's and have since moved over an hour away and still will travel hat far because Bob's is the only place I trust not to screw me over.

Professional and reliable! I recently had Bob replace a timing belt & water pump on my 2008 Honda Ridgeline while we were away on vacation. Bob sent me e-mail updates while they were working on my vehicle just to keep me in the loop as to how things were progressing. Bob did the job perfectly and didn't try to sell me anything else, like so many other garages do.

I sent Bob a text when we got back that I was coming down to pick it up and he said "by the way, I ran it through the car wash for you because it collected so much dust while you were away on vacation". Who does that this day and age and doesn't charge you for it.nobody! I will definitely send people to Bob's and will be going back as well. This place is legit!

I've dealt with Mike for more than 25 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my auto repairs. He's done everything from rebuilding engines to installing trailer hitches to routine oil changes and always looks after me. One time I needed my car back for a weekend trip and he stayed on the job until 9 PM to finish a tough job so I could have the car in time.

He's been tough on parts suppiers when they don't deliver quality and makes sure I don't pay for junk. He seems to thrive on tough jobs, researching the web for clues to whaterver problem is presented. The bottom line is Mike is a square dealer, period.
