This was my second time using Bob Crevaux. I needed my car towed to Wayne Auto Works after my car broke down. Bob was able to fix my car and get me back on the road in a few days. I recently purchased a 1968 Ford Mustang that I needed help with. Before I even bought the car Bob and his team was extremely helpful offering advice on what to look for before buying. Once the vehicle was purchased, Bob performed an extremely detailed inspection, and him and I established a service plan for the vehicle. Bobs approach to building or repairing classic vehicles is very methodical and helpful to newbies like myself.

This is the 2nd time I've brought my 2008 Corvette to Bob. Bob and his staff are always pleasant and extremely knowledgeable about corvettes and the pitfalls you might encounter if not serviced properly. I always appreciate a job well done and Bob and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend him and his staff and will continue to service my corvette there.

Called the place to ask for engine cleaning gave make model got asked why. There's build up and after the cleaning can pin point where it could be coming from. Patricia said "and who's gonna do that?" the mechanic I replied she then said No we don't do cleanings here and hung up! Rude! Thanks for nothing

Bob and his team epitomize "you get what you pay for". Many of the reviews speak about how friendly and nice everyone at the shop are, starting with Patricia the office manager to Bob and his entire team. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I value that level of service but what mattered most was, well, the service. I had a major drivetrain issue which I was clearly unqualified to diagnose, even with Google.

My car is a Porsche Cayenne and it had been serviced exclusively at the dealership, at tremendous expense. The first thing Bob said was if I was looking to save money, his wasn't the shop to bring it to. Perhaps off-putting to some but not to me. He went on to say that you brought your car to his shop to do the work right, the first time. Well long story short, he fixed the issue, further diagnosed and fixed 2 other issues I was aware of and was just dealing with and replaced my tires, which were worn for sure.

If he was doing these add ons to raise his fee, it wasn't overt. In fact, I know he would have been fine if I declined and I would have regretted it later. In the end, everything was done perfectly and I am exacting. I mean perfectly. The drivetrain is smooth, the car starts with authority as when new and the new tires (which he recommended) are performant and whisper quiet.

When Bob handed me the keys with a big smile, I was happy to return the smile even while handing him my cc. Bob and his team are worth every penny. Do not hesitate to take your car to Bob's shop. To think, I went there originally because he was local. Now I just really appreciate him more because he is local. All my cars will go to Bob Crevaux's.

This was my third visit to Bob C's with my 2011 Altima., and as in my previous visits, Bob, Bill and John were courteous, competent, prompt, and responsive to my questions and needs. It is a very professional organization. Highly recommended. Services: Oil change, General repairs & maintenance

A hustler. I brought my car in for a break check, and after waiting 4 days for an estimate, he charged us $600 FOR THE ESTIMATE!. And I have the bill to prove it. Then he said it needed major break work for $6,000! I took it to my other mechanic. He said it just needed front break pads, and it's been driving perfectly ever since. Do yourself a favor, and don't trust Crevaux's.

Excellent service. Alternator died, had towed to Bobs. Received a call next morning, with price and details. Had car back in less then 24 hrs. Highly recommend.

A mechanic shop that you can trust. Bob saved me thousands of dollars by analyzing my car and letting me know I did not need a repair that a dealership recommended. The dealership recommended I needed a new 10 K transmission but this was not the case at all. I will be taking my car for servicing at Bobs from now on. If you need a repair please use Bob as he will not steal from you or rip you off like the big dealerships. You can trust him to give you an accurate, detailed, and honest analysis of your vehicles needs.

Bob and his entire staff is amazing. They did what they said they would do in a timely manner. He helped me through the entire restoration process. I wish I brought my truck in sooner! Bob runs a crackerjack team! I totally trust them. They are a very busy shop, but provide highly-skilled service and accurate turn-around for your repair. They'll keep your car running sharp.

Bob, Bill, Mark and John have been taking care of our cars for over 13 years, there is no one better. Their work is excellent and they are always very upfront about the costs before getting approval to do the work. I have trusted Bob's recommendations for other auto services and they have always been spot on. I actually take my new cars there as well, instead of the "free" oil changes you get from dealers, that's how much I trust them. Hard to find a mechanic you can trust to tell you like it is. They take very good care of their repeat customers.

I always thought this was a nice place until my mom went there. She went and asked if someone could help put air in her tires, and the man said no. He said why would I have one of my men that I pay to fix cars to take 5 minutes and put air in your tires. And that's all it would take, 5 minutes. It was rude and not nice at all. We will never be back.

Not a bad place to get your car inspection I highly recommend it. Didn't pass the first time had to run the car for a week pass it the second time.

If you are in need of a car repair shop look no further. I was traveling from CT when my service engine light came on. I called on a busy Saturday morning and they not only made time to talk to me but squeezed me into their packed schedule. Honest, friendly, efficient, quality service. Would highly recommend and will definitely call upon them again if needed when I'm visiting the area.

Needed extensive work done on my truck. Kept me well informed during the whole process and were very fair with regard to pricing.

Took mother's car to Bob's and gave us a fair quote to repair exhaust based on Toyota dealer's estimate. Saw me right away for quote and when my 88 yr old mother returned couple of days later to ask about something else they took her for a ride and patiently explained the problem. Good mechanics with terrific customer service skills! Cheapest gas in town.

I came here for the first time to get my side mirror replaced, and will definitely be returning. Everyone in the shop was very friendly. They explained what my options were and helped me choose what worked best for my situation. They also helped repair my exhaust which I was unaware was leaking, and again were very helpful in explaining the issue and outlining my options and what was most cost-effective.

They even offered to help drop me off my car for the repairs if needed (my work is a mile down the road), and also washed my car while it was there! Great customer service and a great experience, I'll definitely use them again!

I came here to get my oil changed for the first time by myself and it was a great experience. Usually you need to make an appointment ahead, but I called and they fit me in same day. Everyone was so respectful and nice. They did it in about half an hour, gave me a fair price and didn't even try to up sell me on anything, which I was somewhat expecting being a female and not knowing much about cars, so this was a pleasant surprise. The waiting room was clean too! Definitely recommend them.

I went in a few months ago for a brake job on my Touareg. They were fantastic. The job was done quickly yet thoroughly.they contacted me to talk me through the options. Best part, half the cost of the VW dealership (yet used the same product). I'll go again for sure. May even bring it there for regular maintenance.

***CONSUMER WARNING *** AVOID THIS RIP OFF AUTO REPAIR PLACE! My daughter, a 26 year old young woman went to this auto repair business "BOB CREVAUX'S WAYNE AUTO WORKS INC." on Oct. 24, 2013 for a simple oil change on her 13 year old Ford Contour. After explaining to the mechanic there that she only wanted an oil change and asking how much it would cost he told her "around thirty dollars".

After an hour waiting she was presented a bill of $85.30 for an oil change! The bill included an amount of $62.10 for 6 quarts of "Synthetic Blend" oil which is not recommended for this late model car and was not authorized by my daughter, This guy obviously took advantage of a young woman who didn't know much about cars and was too intimidated to protest the inflated charges!' I warn all in the Wayne / Oakland / Pompton Lake / Pompton Plains area to save yourself some grief and AVOID THIS RIP OFF AUTO REPAIR PLACE!

I went to this mechanic and he scanned my car. He told me it is going to cost around 1500 to fix it. I found that number absurd as my car was running well it only had a vsc light. I took it to another mechanic and he laughed at how much the guy was going to charge me. He fixed it for about 250 labor and parts total. My car needed a speed thing in the transmission which cost only 100 but the other mechanic wanted to fix and change the entire transmission. Keep in mind my car is very low on mileage and what this guy was telling me didn't make sense. I would never recommend going here unless you want to be ripped off.

These guys are the most honest and efficient mechanics we've ever worked with. If there were more stars to select, I would!

This shop is very clean, and the staff is very knowledgeable. They are very thorough in what they do. They communicate well the situation, and don't do anything without running it by the customer first. When fixing one thing, they report on other items that deserve attention as well. Their suggested solutions seem to err on the side of total renovation, as opposed to partial, temporary mending, which does end up costing you more.

For example if you had a small hole in your exhaust I doubt they would suggest a patch, and would suggest a replacement instead. If you have a newer car and want to keep it in near new condition, then I would strongly recommend this place. If you have a clunker and are looking to squeak by without dumping a lot of money into it, then maybe this isn't the best place.
