Bob Carter's Auto Body

So today I stopped at this body shop to get an estimate to remove a scratch on my rear bumper I did a couple months ago, I walked into the building and this guy offered me his help, I told him I just needed a price to get my bumper fixed and he immediately walked outside with me to look at the car, he said give me 5 minutes and went to go grab some stuff and buffed out the scratch on the spot.

The crazy thing is that he did not charge me a penny to get this fixed and he did it so quick. Thank you Josh for being such an amazing employee and for being so professional and knowledgeable on how to fix stuff like this in such short period of time I honesty appreciate your help! Just picked up my car and it looks brand new. I took it in for auto repairs as my car got hit and it came out looking shiny and brand new they even cleaned some of the floor mats as well and left a free car scraper in my car. Their customer service was amazing as it was my first time going their and they were quick to help and very friendly and patient! 10/10 would recommend to go there for any car troubles.

There was no problems between the insurance company and the auto shop which made it an easy process. Bob Carter Auto body is a place I will recommend to friends and family from now on!

Can't say enough about Josh and the whole crew at BC Auto Body. Josh went above and beyond working with my insurance company to make sure my truck was fixed properly. He would also call and give me updated on the progress of the work. The quality of work is second to none, my ten year old truck looks like it just rolled off the show room floor. My car got keyed pretty bad (like large words written across my entire driver-side door). Bob Carter's got me in pretty quick, worked well with my State Farm to make sure that everything was covered, and it was very easy to get set up with them. State Farm required me to submit pictures to get an initial estimate for the work, and all I had to do was forward that to the shop and they took care of the rest (including submitting 2 more estimates to make sure the work got done the right way).

Because of this (and I guess my insurance coverage), the work was fully covered without any additional cost to me. I mention this because State Farm tried to steer me towards their "preferred shops", many of whom were farther away and would have taken significantly longer to get me in. But I looked into it further, and Bob Carter's DOES work with State Farm and all of my work was covered!

So don't give it a second thought if this happens to you! Very glad I looked into the insurance stuff more because I'm very pleased with the entire experience working with Bob Carter's, so it's not surprising they came so highly recommended family and several of my patients. Highly recommend!

The staff is friendly and professional, and their prices are very reasonable (especially compared to those of other body shops). They took the time to answer all of my questions, which I very much appreciated. They did high quality work and returned the car on time. Amazing work and service. These guys are seriously the best around the Chicago area. They work with your insurance company and fight your case for the best work on your car- for all those people who've gotten into mishaps, you know what I mean. My car has been there a few times now and they came highly recommended from a friend whose family cars go there too.

Also, I did my research and found they are a family owned business and not trying to profit off you or the insurance company in the way some big chains are, so that was a big thing for me. I take care of my car and didn't want my car to be just a number and not get the due attention. They'll give you a worry-free experience with amazing attention to detail. Super happy with my experience here and would totally recommend! Honestly, it's the first time I've ever had to file an insurance claim on my car and the process seemed daunting (and annoying). Mike patiently walked me through everything and then worked directly with my insurance company. I felt like he/the whole shop was looking out for me and just made the experience so easy and painless. I've also felt intimated at other shops before, just getting an oil change, but not here. I really felt respected and valued as a customer.
