Bad customer service and very bad sales representative a young guy tall forgot the name With the rude attitude and 0 experience trying to low ball my bmw with no respect and after 1 minute ( to my response) increased offer $2500 just like that. What kind of sales course did you take? Or any of your manager thought you and sales technics? First leave your pride and attitude at home and come to work!

Second smile and be attentive with respect! Last do not underestimate your customers (remember we pay our bills when we get there for the maintenance and buy car we don't get them free) do not let your ego take over your control! I liked the truck there yesterday and l was willing to buy it trading my bmw and l did not even demand for any $ figure but employee attitude killed everything.

And after l said no not interested. No one bring my car they used you drive to parking lot l can get it and leave, l have to walk all they way in front of the maintenance parking area remove all plastics and covers. Terrible Terrible Shame on manager who managing this place.

I bought Mini Cooper 2019 at BMW of Monterey last December. Actually John Poli, Sale representative helped us. For the past six months I have been in touch with John to ask about all kinds of the car information. He has been wonderful, response quickly or timely manner, helpful in anyway he could and polite, always. He is above and beyond. I really appreciated the low pressure sales approach of this dealership. Our sales associate, John Polli, was excellent in every way. He was professional, responsive and did not come off as "pushy" in any way, which we found very refreshing. John was very helpful and prompt in his responses to our many questions. Absolutely incredible service and treatment buying a car from BMW of Monterey. I would have never thought as a BMW dealership as the place to go for someone looking for a modest car on a budget but this dealership has something for everyone. In addition to the very nice new BMWs, they have a great pre-owned selection. I was looking for a Honda and contacted this dealership after having not such great luck elsewhere from Honda dealerships.

I was quickly messaged back by Kimberly. Kimberly was friendly, straightforward and very easy to work with. She was respectful of my budget and willing to work with me to get me into the car I wanted. After a fairly painless setup of financing and paperwork online, I came in and everyone I spoke to was respectful and friendly. Kimberly kept us entertained while my husband and I waited for the final approval, with great conversation and showing us all the best spots to get lunch in the area.

After everything was done and we were ready to go, she pulled the car in and pull a bow on it, which was really cute. I was really nervous about buying a car because it can be a stressful process but she made it really fun. I would 100% recommend her and this dealership to anyone looking to buy a new or preowned car.

I bought my 2013 335 from here 6 years ago (after someone else leased it for 3 years). 9 months ago I took my car in to the BMW dealership for oil leak repairs. I paid over $5,000 for the repairs (shame on me). When I picked it up after the repairs the car smelled like gasoline. So I took it back and told them about the smell but they assured me there were no other leaks.

So I spent months waiting for the smell to clear, but it never did. Then a week ago my car engine started smoking. When I took it back to the dealership they told me that the fuel injector was leaking, and that the leak affected the head gasket cover and that was the reason for both the gasoline smell and the smoke. This tells me that likely the damage to the head gasket cover was the result of them not repairing the fuel line injector correctly 9 months ago when I brought it back.

But even if that's not the case, the worst part was that they were going to charge me another $3,700 for the repairs. Instead I decided to take it to a local mechanic where they performed the same repairs that BMW was going to do, but for under $700! Won't be going back to this dealership, that's for sure!

My wife and I have been looking for a low mileage Infinity QX80 for a month and saw the car we wanted via the internet at BMW Monterey. Bryan Williams provided excellent photos and accurate description of the car. He had a chip in the exterior repaired. I flew from Palm Springs and Bryan picked me up at the Monterey airport. The car is exactly as represented and we are very happy with it. I have also had good experience with other BMW dealers. Thank you Brian and Jack for making this car buying experience a pleasant one.

If you're thinking about visiting this dealership out of your way - do it. I've been to few located around the bay but this one stands out in terms of courtesy and professionalism. I interacted with Erdal and could not be happier. He was very calm, understanding, no pushy tactics and very professional. Given our 2hr drive, he was very accommodating (thanks for staying late).

They had a hiccup in financing team but overall our experience was great. They have competitive pricing so I did not waste time negotiating etc etc. I would recommend Erdal and the whole team to anyone who wants a new ride.

Very rude customer service- services department. Made an appointment online and called to find out details of the current warranty the vehicle has, was transferred multiple times without being able to talk to a person. Left a vm, 4 hours later got a call back to tell me they couldn't see the info in the system and have to call the finance department instead. Got transferred to finance department that went straight to vm. Called back the services number, this time talked to a different person who magically was able this time to actually see the info in the system, when I asked for a copy, he got rude, told my I was given a flash drive when I purchased the vehicle - from them, mind you that was in 2018, and if I am not ok with that I can call their finance department and try to get a copy, he also talk on top of me, didn't let me speak, told me the conversation is over and hang up.

Some service. So I guess you cannot get a copy of your purchased warranty from them, and once you pay for it, "they cannot see it in the system" want to charge you for the service- it happened last time I took the car for service, and make you jump through a thousand hoops to get them to "find" your information in the system if it benefits you- like the extended warranty. Very dissapointed, I expected much better from them

If u need a new or used vehicle this is the place to come too. very beautiful location especially the drive there, also wonderful option of vehicles to choose from. salesman, "mr bryan keith williams "took care of me and my family for the past week keeping us updated with the vehicle that we desired. came into work on his days off making sure we got what we came for.negotiations were very smooth and never felt rushed or had to make a desicion i didnt want too. i highly recommend using this salesman, more than likely i will be coming to buy another vehicle from him again soon. thanks again bryan your the man!couldnt have started the year any better.

I didn't expect it would be such a huge problem to find a charging station for my EV BMW anywhere in Monterey. So I ended up at this dealership, but couldn't initiate the charging station located next to their facility, so I asked for help inside. And help I received. Both Brandon (who found the right person for this issue) and Joseph Grant (the Genius) went out of their way to get the charger started, and helped fix a few other problems. Wow!

I don't remember when I felt this good about service. They knew they wouldn't get a dime out of me, I'm not their customer, and wasn't buying anything. They just helped. Service at its best. I highly recommend this place.

Adding another car to the garage today. Drove all the way from Bakersfield to pick this up. Nathan made the process seamless and practically effortless. He was very professional beyond accommodating and made the "car buying experience" the way you expect to be. In and out and on the road in less than 2 hours. I wish all car salesman understood this process and did exactly why Nathan did for me. I definitely will reach out to him first on the next purchase which will be a lot sooner than later now with this experience.

Our salesman Paris made this whole process an amazing experience. He was patient with all of our questions and was so knowledgeable on everything we discussed. I usually dread going to dealerships and dealing with sales people but Paris made this experience a fun and easy one. I highly recommend seeing Paris if you are looking to buy a car. He truly takes care of his customers.

And I also can't forget to mention our finance guy Jack. He made sure we understood everything we were signing and getting into. Whenever I buy a new BMW, I'll be working with Erdal. He's the best! He's super knowledgable about all the vehicles BMW offers, and looks into all the details to make sure I'm absolutely satisfied with my purchase. I recently ordered a new 2022 M3 with him and he pointed out some potential issues with my choices, which we fixed and I really appreciated his insights. Just ask for Erdal and you'll be extremely satisfied with the customer service.

After paying $490 dollars for routine services (oil change and break fluid) and being blind sided by the price because my estimate was for about half that amount I had to reduce my review to one star. Here's why: First, my service tech Brandon gave me a quote/estimate for about $352 dollars. And for most of us, this means just that. documentation of what something might cost give or take a few dollars. Next, I come to pick up my car only to find out I owe $490.91 to be exact which is a high jump from my estimate which by the way I did not sign for $352.

This happened because Brandon only gave me an estimate for break fluid. The last straw was the fact that GSM Jimmy did not follow through on his promise to talk to his higher ups and call me back. And the reason for I'm upset? His words exactly, I promise to call you back on Monday. I want to make this better. When others in the room with me were asked if their definition of estimate/quote was the same as mine, an approximate amount you'll pay everyone agreed!

For the manager who reads this, here is the actual definition: estimate verb /estmat/ 1. roughly calculate or judge the value, number, quantity, or extent of."the aim is to estimate the effects of macroeconomic policy on the economy" Horrible, it's mind boggling how much the the customer service at their service department has gone down. Even more mind boggling, is how a GSM could look me in the eyes after treating me poorly at first and then correcting his verbiage/tone with an empty promise. I'll be contacting corporate if no resolution is offered!

Left my vehicle with them to have my noisy muffler looked at and a small rubber washer for my hatchback cover. They wanted to charge me $200 for that small rubber piece, and a few thousand dollars for a new muffler. This was in addition to $1500 in service costs to replace a few common fluids. I turned down the service and took the car to a smaller, local mechanic who examined the muffler.

It was a quick and inexpensive fix for $50! This experience left a horrible taste in my mouth and has made me completely mis-trust the bigger mechanics. I'll be taking my business to the smaller, local mechanics with my business.

I bought a used Jeep Grand Cherokee from BMW of Monterey at a great price considering the cost of many pre-owned vehicles these days. Bryan was great to work with! Got an oil change form BMW of Monterey for my 2014 320i. Everything went smoothly thanks to Chris Almeida and Luis Hernandez. Chris was very knowledgeable and accessible. The inspection video provided over text was very informative esp since I am 40 miles away in Scotts Valley. I also used a coupon on an email offer from BMW of Monterey.

As someone who is younger, walking into car dealerships it is easy to be dismissed as someone who is "just looking" or someone that can be taken advantage of. Thankfully, this was not the experience that I encountered when I arrived. Erdal offered to help right away and had no issue showing me the car I came to look at. There were no pushy sales tactics and the car was priced competitively.

We can to an agreement quickly and without much haggling which was refreshing to say the least. Mike (I believe that was his name) was also great in helping me through the financing process. Once again, no pushy tactics. His goal was to make sure I walked out with the options I needed at a price that I was comfortable with. Overall a great and stress free experience. I would recommend this dealership to anyone that is in the market for a BMW.

I'm a little torn on my review because our experience with the dealership itself was not so great but our experience with the gentleman that sold us the car was perfect! We live about 6 hours away but saw a used car for sale online and after speaking with Parris we drove up to take a look. I will say that Parris is the reason this is a 4 star review and not less.

He is personable, funny, easy going, and takes care of things on the spot. We had our toddler with us and he did not want to leave Parris by the time we were done lol. The dealership itself. while clean there were a lot of staff walking around without masks on. The wait to go into the finance/paperwork part of the sale took FOREVER! Trying to get a toddler to be patient when you've been there more than half the day is impossible. Luckily Parris ran out to get some much needed Pizza and provided entertainment for our toddler.

We were told we had 5 days to get financing elsewhere since the rate wasn't that great but when our bank called the dealership to arrange sending the check, they were told it was sold same day to Bank of America so now we're stuck waiting to switch it over. It also appears the vehicle had a really bad oil leak so it's now in a shop for 3 weeks to be repaired.

Fun having a new-to-you vehicle that you can't even drive. Luckily the leak falls under warranty but I would think they'd have checked something like that before selling it. especially since we had a 6+ hour drive home.

Well. it's been 4 months since purchasing our sporty commuter car. Initially we were satisfied with the service we received from this dealership and everything seemed to be on the up and up. I initially financed the car through the dealership (BMW Financial), but I ended up paying the car off in 2 months. I just didn't want another payment to manage.

During this time, we are driving around with the temporary registration the dealership places on the windshield. FOLKS- It's still there! Becuase I was never sent registration. When I paid the car off in December 2019, I received a letter from BMW indicating they were having some trouble locating the title of my vehicle. I called BMW Financial twice and got the run-around.

I then reached back out to BMW of Monterey where I left a voicemail for the General Manager. He, of course, never returned my call! Thankfully I persisted and was connected to their Accounting Manager, Rachel, who seemed to be up to getting this straightened out. I will tell you that we initially spoke 2 weeks ago and the issue is still not resolved. However, I give her 5 starts for being courteous and helpful. (Plus the COVID-19 is putting a damper on expiditing anything.) So, last week with all this rain, the passenger side of my care fills with a good inch of water.

I have owned the car for 4 months total. I bought it at 63K miles and its now at 73K. I end up taking my car in for service due to the leak and the need for an oil change to the BMW in my new area (yes, we also moved in January). They tell me that the oil housing unit gasket is leaking oil as is the valve cover gasket. They also guestimate that the water leak is probably due to a clogged sunroof track, but they'll need diagnostic time (read money) to properly advice and correct. That's an estimated $1600 for the oil housing gasket repair $1300 for the Valve gasket repair $600+ for the leak find and repair.

If you bought a car that had gone through a 64 point inspection, would you anticapte having to spend $3500 in repairs in 4 months? I have shared this same information with the Accounting Manager and the Finance Manager at BMW of Monterey. with the exception of Rachel, take a guess on how many of them have reached out to even just sympathize or offer an apology? NONE. Caveat Emptor
