M Service has always been and continues to be the most reputable and fairly priced service center for BMWs in Walnut Creek. They are excellent at diagnosing, repairing and being honest about work that has been done or needs to be done. I would never take my car anywhere else. The staff is exceedingly polite and courteous. I brought my Mercedes GLA 250 here for its first service after being referred by my Uncle. I was able to request an appointment online, Brandon returned my call to schedule my appointment. When I went in to drop the car off, Brandon was super friendly, explained the services and sent me on my way. When the car was finished and I picked it up, he thoroughly went through all of the services, checks that were performed, and any thing that may need to keep an eye on for future services. I cannot say enough great things about M service! They were friendly, efficient and honest (just to name a few). A part was needed and instead of waiting for it to come in the next day, they went out to pick it up themselves so that I can take my car home that evening! Also, Brandon called me to share the work that needed to be done and worked with me to make sure I stayed in my budget for this appointment. I will definitely be coming back!

Great repair and service! I brought my car in for emergency repairs because another local shop didn't do their job well. M Service took my car at a last minute notice, diagnosed the issue and repaired it. My car has been running like new and I'll go back for routine service in the future.

Dante checked out my car after I hit two pot holes coming out of the Posey Tube in Alameda. The car hit hard as I exited the tunnel after the second big rain storm this season. It flattened the inside rims on both wheels on right side of car. M Services completed visual and road tests, then completed the necessary repairs and realign the new tires.

I'm so appreciative they recommended checking out any road hazard mishaps the last time my car was serviced. It.s nice to know the suspension is fine, Mercedes is safe again, and drives like a dream. I highly recommend M Service.

Edit: Not every bad rating is a spam rating. My partner brought my car in to M Service, and both our names are on the paperwork (albeit misspelled). You can't accuse someone of being a spammer just because a name doesn't perfectly match your records. My partner brought the car in and got an estimate of $330 for a new battery, oil change, and tire rotation (which is about what we've paid in the past).

When they went to pick it up, suddenly the charges were $732. No one called us ahead of time to confirm if the additional charges would be acceptable before they continued working on the car. One of the charges was $80 just to inspect the battery, even though we had already told them to just replace it (that was in addition to the $85 for the general car inspection).

On top of that, M Service didn't even inspect the battery correctly. They claimed it had somehow lasted 10 years without replacement (which would be remarkable), even though I have paperwork showing it was replaced 5 years ago. Eventually we were able to only get a partial refund and no apology. Overall, their prices are extremely high. In the past I've had a tire rotation, oil change, and inspection of the car for $90. At M Service, that cost $432. My previous battery service was $215, at M Service it ended up being $437.

Replaced the starter motor on our 2013 BMW X1. Our car needed to be towed, and M Service gave us the phone number for a preferred tow service. Our car was professionally towed and arrived at M Service without incident. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and installed the new motor. They also replaced a leaking oil sensor they found for no additional labor fee. We have used MService for over 20-years for several cars. We have great confidence in all aspects if their service. Highest possible recommendation.

Love this place! We brought our 24-year-old classic car in for a diagnostic service plus other problems that were evident. They did an excellent job on diagnosing what we needed and what we didn't need and made the essential repairs with skilled precision. We were very impressed with how the car ran afterwards. Hubby is a car freak, so he knows good mechanics when he sees it. These guys are reliable and trustworthy. They take care of you like family! I highly recommend this place!

I was referred to this business many years ago. I have spent thousands of dollars here and have been a loyal customer. However, the last 2 interactions I had with Dante and Scott were extremely bizarre and unprofessional. These 2 spoke to me very disrespectfully with arrogance and made me feel as if I owed them something. They also attempted to sell me expensive services and repairs that were not needed.

I received 2nd and 3rd opinions from highly specialized shops that work on my specific vehicle and were told none of their recommendations were correct or needed. Based on their terrible customer service, and dishonesty, they lost my business. I will be giving my hard-earned money to a business that truly values their customers, and conducts themselves with integrity.

This was my first time using M Service for service needed on my BMW. They were very efficient in creating an information base on my vehicle and are certainly very customer oriented. They provided a detailed estimate of work to be done and the cost. The final cost was the same as the estimate. The work was completed on time, along with a detailed report on all systems checked out. Definitely plan to make M Service my go to place for any future needs on my BMW!

Dante was extremely helpful and courteous. He was able to explain all of what the technician was able and not able to do in my short visit for an oil change and diagnostic. The overnight drop off service was very convenient and parking for the shop was located in an easily accessed lot off Mt. Diablo Blvd.

Brought my 2017 Range Rover into Dante to get the brakes serviced. Not only did they complete the service hundreds of dollars below the quote I received from the dealer, but they also found that a I had a coolant leak in the back of the engine from a part that is notorious for leaking and eventually bursting. He suggested I get it repaired immediately by the dealer because it was covered under warranty.

I was impressed that they caught this leak before it became a nightmare even though it wasn't even near the job they were performing. Can't imagine taking my Rover anywhere else for brakes and service in the future. Thank you Dante and the Mservice team!

I had a very unfortunate experience with Dante. Maybe he had a bad day. Essentially, I called to ask about a potential service for an older M car. He could not care less, was uninterested in my business or myself as a client. I calmly asked why and he just stayed silent. Anyway, he lost a local customer with several M cars. On the plus side, I found VT Motorworks. Excellent service, humble, much more qualified for BMWs.

I have known Dante since 1984 when they first opened he and the crew built my 1977 BMW 320 into the most amazing canyon carving car new motor suspension rims lowered it the list goes on and on. I have never met such a wonderful bunch of car guys in my life. I have used M Service for over 20 years, for my BMWs, Audis, and Mercedes. Dante and his team provide first class service, do excellent quality work at reasonable prices, and never push services that aren't needed.

Just purchased a used Mini Cooper that was displaying a check engine light. Was familiar with M Service having driven by it a lot in the past and saw good reviews on Yelp. Submitted appointment request online, received a follow up call immediately after. Service Lead Dante was very helpful and prompt. He was very thorough in asking questions about my vehicle and scheduled me for the next day.

Upon bringing the car in I was very impressed with the condition of the facility. Very clean and secure. All staff wore masks during pandemic. They Took my car in and ran diagnostics, and went above and beyond to assess the condition of the car for me. Gave me a thorough summary of issues and potential causes as well as suggested services. Were not pushy trying to upsell services to me, I concluded that I would need to reassess my purchase before doing too much more work to the car. Costs of labor were in line with what I know of the industry. Team was very professional and courteous. Definitely worth a call.

I always bring my car to M Service when it's in need of a tune up. Every guy behind the desk is super friendly and they don't treat me like a complete moron like the other car shops. They provide you with the complete diagnosis of your car and do a great job getting your car exactly what you need (and nothing more) at a reasonable rate. Love this shop, showed up 5min before closing on a Friday, low on oil with a warning oil light, and I was quite far from home. Dante was super kind and gave me the oil that I needed, so that I could restart driving my audi without any risk. I'm very grateful and I will definitely consider them for future business. Wonderful shop, I have taken all my BMW to them both vintage and new, you get quality service and a care, the mentality is to repair or preserve your car the right way the first time. I recommend them to anyone who wants assurance of the job done right.

Was quoted over $2700 to fix my X5. I was shocked and they told me I should donate the car. I towed it to Wolfgang down the street and he fixed it for $300. I have been spending a lot of money at MService over the last few years. Now I am wondering what kind of sucker they thought I was and have been over charging me all these years.

Service. Often promised rarely delivered. Dante is efficient, knowledgeable and honest. As soon as your European car is out of warranty, I highly recommend you get it over to M Service for your maintenance and repair needs. 1st time there, stellar service. 5 Stars -- well deserved!

They quoted me over $2500 for the active SCR replacement that was covered under warranty by dealer. Highly doubt it was an oversight considering their so claimed "expertise". Don't bother with M Service, they will take advantage of you. European Werkstatt a few miles up the road is the honest shop your looking for in Walnut Creek.

Don't use them. They were very polite when I called but did not tell me they wanted to charge $300 to simply give me a quote. Obviously only used to working with warranties and insurance companies and as a result charging exorbitant rates, if you actually pay the bill yourself, this is not the place to go, they are very generous, to themselves, with your insurance company's $.

I am so pleased about the service I received yesterday at M Services. I tool my new to me, (2014) Mercedes in for the warranty checkup. I had talked with trusted friends about where to take my car and M Services was the one recommended. Jim was great to discuss the details of my warranty. He educated me about how some of the systems of my car work and how to care for the car.
