Hello, my name is Martin (Mark) Blair. I am the owner-operator and lead technician at my shop Blair's Auto Care Inc., located at 21 Stemmers Run Rd in the heart of Essex, Maryland 21221. I have oil in my blood and have been taking things apart and reassembling them for as long as I can remember. This passion eventually led me to work as a factory trained Master Technician for 17 years prior to opening my own shop in 2003, Blair's Auto Care. Even our very location echoes a lifelong passion for repair since it has been in use as a garage since 1946.

For 40 years I took my car for service to my brother's garage, then he retired. Now what do I do. I was living in Essex at the time and asked around. A number of people suggested Blair's. I gave them a try and they treat me just like my brother. Friendly, professional, excellent service, honest and reasonable. They continue to keep my '99 Elantra running, from basic oil changes, engine light issues, and other issues that develop that come with driving an older car. I strongly recommend them for whatever your automotive needs are. Give them a call.

Took my truck to their shop for what I thought was going to be an thousand dollar plus steering issue. Turns out that one of my sons switched the 4 wheel drive on and it was a fix as simple as flipping a switch. I tried several times to pay them for their time and the woman over the phone refused. I am born and raised in Essex and have never experienced honesty on this level. I pray that I don't have many other mechanical failures but I will not take my vehicles anywhere else other than Blair's. Thank you

We only use Blair's Automotive for any repairs for our vehicles. They are quick and honest. If you take your car in for squeaky breaks and it turns out they are working as intended, then they don't fix them and charge you an arm and a leg. Best automotive shop around. We have been taking all of our cars here for several years and we have been nothing short of thrilled with our experiences (and there have been lots of them)!They provide options for repair, but never pressure when making decisions about your vehicle. They are dependable and all work is done in a timely manner. They are very easy to work with and are just great people overall! Satisfied would be an understatement.

Just moved to the area and needed to find a new shop. Blair's had good reviews and thought I would give them a try. Glad I did. Good service, price, workmanship, but most importantly communication. Lisa is quick with the phone call on the cost estimate and time of repair. I would recommend Blair's to anyone. I took my 20 year old 2000 Dodge full size van in because it was hesitating on acceleration. Mr Blair informed me that it may take a few days to look at my van due to the shop was full of other vehicles. I told him no problem. After 2 days Mr Blair called and informed me that the van has a cylinder miss fire. He explained in detail what this was and performed a major tune up and also serviced the transmission as well.
I must say this van has never ran so well after getting it back from Blair's. Blair's Auto Care is the BEST.The reason for choosing Blair's is because of all the great reviews they get. And it was a pleasure dealing with them. And Lisa and the dogs were extremely nice. Thank you for your service to the community. And I will tell everyone I know about your shop. Ben
