I had an issue with my misfiring cylinder. Took a while to test, monitor and fix but Bill's never gave up. When I had an issue after the fix I was able to bring my vehicle in and Bill's made it right. Awesome guys! Services: Engine repair, Oil change

We have been to a couple of other repair businesses trying to get our check engine light fixed. Several trips and hundreds of dollars later we still had the issue and now our registration was due and required a smog check. Bill's Quality Auto Repair was recommended to us, and we are so happy to have our car finally fixed. Passed smog test without any issues. We will consider him our new go to mechanic.

The BEST experience I've ever had with an auto repair company. Everyone I talked to from the front desk to the person who worked on my car went out of their way to be friendly and kind. The price was extremely reasonable and the service was top notch. It's clear that they have built a great company and that their team members truly enjoy being there. 10/10 would recommend!

I recently brought my Chevy Silverado in for basic maintenance, and was thrilled at how friendly, efficient, and skilled the folks at Bill's were at addressing my needs. Two of my kids have had similar experiences when they brought their cars in for service as well. My daughter had a hard-to-diagnose issue with her hybrid which two dealerships failed to figure out previously, but Bill's awesome mechanics were able to locate the problem and make the necessary repairs within 24 hours. They've become my new heroes!

I called to ask if I could bring in my car because I was having trouble starting it, the person I spoke to on the phone said I could bring it in today but it would be 160$ to diagnose it, I told her that was fine. I went inside and spoke to her to get all the paperwork filled out. Everything was fine until a guy named Adam came out and asked me what car was mine, he saw my car and said something to the women at the desk and told me it was going to be 354$ to diagnose not 160$.

I asked him why it was 354$ when they had just told me it was going to be 160$ just to look at the car and he couldn't give me a legitimate answer. I ended up just going through with it since I had towed my car in, it took them a whole month just to reset my computer system in my car. Be careful if your planning on bringing your car here.

The service visit itself was fine. I appreciate that they offer a ride back after you drop off your car, but the shuttle driver was incredibly rude. He and another passenger got into a political discussion with me stuck in the backseat forced to listen. After a good 15 minutes of forced listening of their 'opinions' they seemed to realize another person existed in the world and apologized.

And then proceeded to continue their political discussion, including some pretty offensive comments. After the other passenger was dropped off the driver tried to make small talk with me. Um, no way dude. Will seriously reconsider future business here. Definitely don't want to get into a car with this driver again. It would seem to be common sense to avoid sensitive topics like this but apparently not here.

Too bad since otherwise it would be 4 stars. ETA: I updated the review to 4 stars. Bill's called me shortly after seeing this review to apologize, and to advise they had spoken to the driver in question and assured me this would not happen again. I appreciate how they responded here and as I noted in my original review the quality of the service visit was very good otherwise.

I know a lot of the time, people may feel scammed after recovering their cars from the mechanics shop. When it comes to Bill's, however, they are the real smacking deal! I've taken my vehicle to many mechanics throughout simi just to gauge out which shop was really the go-to and once I ended up at Bill's I never looked back. Seriously, the work these guys do is phenomenal and it always makes me feel like I just bought my car right off the lot. Highly, highly, *highly* recommend these gentlemen for any vehicle maintenance you may need.

Adam worked with me from beginning to end of the service. He was transparent about the issue with my vehicle and the time and cost for repairs. The rates were reasonable. I had a head gasket repair, tire change, and replaced on TPMS sensor. They were terrific. Due to the quality of the service and professionalism I'll be returning to this business should I require future service.

We brought our motorhome in a few months ago land were so impressed with the honesty, prices, communication and how quick the job was completed. We recently brought our truck in for a few simple fixes that we just didn't have time for and it was done within a hour. Very impressed and will continue to recommend them and use them for our vehicles needs!

I am a high maintenance customer and they always deliver and keep me happy. They do my personal cars and company cars - have never missed a deadline and have never steered me wrong. We travel high mileage for work and I would never go out without someone at Bill's checking the car first. If they say I need something, I do, and if they say it can wait, it can. These guys are the best mechanics on Simi! My Diesel RV, boats, hot rods and daily drivers all go there now!

In todays world it seems like good customer service is hard to find. Bill's Quality Auto Care far exceeded my expectations. Their office/lobby was clean and neat, and the receptionist was very attentive and took my information promptly. I needed major maintenance/repairs to my Ford F-150 and Alex explained all work that needed to be done with a detailed estimate.

The mechanic, Kyle, was very thorough and completed the repairs as though he was working on his own vehicle. The job was completed as promised and cost less than the estimate. I will be back for all future repairs.

After calling, waiting a day for a return call. I spoke to Adam. I stated what I would like to get a price for. Waited two days, then called them back to be told oh ya bring it in so we can see what you need. I asked why they couldn't call me back to tell me this he said we are busy. After saying no thanks I was hung up on. If your too busy to call me back then you don't need my business anyway.

Wow. I was referred here by a friend. I decided to try Bill's instead of overpaying at Mercedes but expected to get a list of repairs I'll need done. I only got a couple and they were honest by saying it wasn't an emergency. Good mechanics you can trust are so hard to find. I highly recommend them! Our driver was so cool too! All so professional, prompt, reliable, efficient, thoroughand friendly. A+

Who else would I trust? Kyle is my number one mechanic. I am happy that he is with such a trustworthy location. It's a privilege to be able to go to this place. Alex is kind and gives you the time you need in order to ask questions and understand things. If you aren't familiar with car parts or how things work. They take the time to explain it.

The shop is always clean. The waiting area is quite a clean feel. They have water and coffee for you. They are priced for what you get, quality. They do give you quotes so you can have a ball park figure before you go through with the work. Keep up the good work. Thanks for always being honest and taking good care of my fleet of vehicles. Bill always making me feel like extended car family. Thanks. Good luck on the beast that is brewing in the shop. Lol.

I made an appointment a week earlier to have my oil changed on my 2019 SEL Premium Jetta. I told the young lady that my car's oil took a 0 - 20 508 Spec oil when I made my appointment. I arrived on Tuesday, 10/15 @10AM for my appointment. The young lady greeted me and said she got the 508 spec oil for my car and brought it out to show me. I thanked her and told her that I had been given a "CUSTOMER APPRECIATION CARD" from Bill Garcia, the owner, for a free oil change.

She asked to see the card when right away Alex who works there and was helping another customer said "give me that card" The customer who Alex was helping was surprised at Alex's abruptness and I was embarrassed by Alex's actions. Alex was very curt to me when he said I couldn't use this card. I told him that I realize I might have to pay a little more for the synthetic oil.

He told me it doesn't cover my car AT ALL even though on the back of the card it states Free Oil Change Service & Inspection for most cars, light trucks and SUV's. I said it's just a VW and I'm willing to pay extra for the oil. I said they should at least cover the basic oil and labor. He abruptly told me that the card wouldn't work for my car.

I was shocked by his behavior and embarrassed by the way in which I was treated. I said thanks and left right away. I was very upset and have never been treated so badly! I went home and told my wife what happened. She suggested that I call Bill Garcia, the owner. I waited for a few days and called Bill's Quality Auto Care and asked for Bill Garcia.

The young lady said he was gone to a conference and asked if she could take a message. I asked her to have Bill call me once he got back. She then asked what the message was and I told her it was personal. She took my name and phone number while assuring me that Bill would call once he got back. I never received a call from Bill Garcia which was disappointing, to say the least! Alex completely lacked professionalism and social skills. It's was a horrible and embarrassing experience for me.

My wife and daughter have also used Bill's Quality Auto Care in the past. There were several opportunities missed by Bill's Quality Auto Care to make this right. At this time I can't recommend Bill's Quality Auto Care based upon my recent experience! I

Bill's Quality Auto Care was my choice for a recent repair when my check engine light came on. The factors in my choice to initially call them were, they're a AAA auto club shop & my brother recommended them. Then when talking with Alex on the phone, he was very professional, not rushing me to make an appointment and get off the phone, but actually taking the time to discuss my concerns, he had all the answers for me to feel confident in using them for my repair needs.

The fact that they offered a loaner car sealed the deal for me! As a business owner myself their customer service was above & beyond what I expected, from that first phone call, to dropping off my truck & being greeted by friendly & professional office staff, to the email & phone call for diagnosis with photos for repair approval. And then picking up my truck at the end of the same day, with the same friendliness & appreciation for my business from the owner Bill. I will not only go back for any future auto needs I may have, but I will highly recommend them to everyone with auto repair needs!

So I almost never give a 5 star rating because I believe there is always room for improvement. My 2011 BMW 550 has been in there shop for 3 items that caused me concern to the point where I was considering a new car. After considerable thought I decided to fix the problems areas. Bill's automotive conducted the repairs at a reasonable price compared to Rusnak BMW. My car now runs fantastic just like new. I will continue to use Bill's automotive on may car until the wheels fall off.

My husband and I have been customers of Bill's Quality for many years. We always receive excellent service at a fair price. The facility is very welcoming and super clean, and the staff are always very helpful and courteous! Service is always done well and on time. If you are looking for a reliable auto repair facility, Bill's quality should definitely be your #1 choice!

Watch out for these guys, they tell you one price but charge another. I was told it was one price and once they did the work and I picked it up they charged me $200 extra to diagnose my problem. I'm very upset because I asked them specifically how much it would be and they told us $400 and it turned out to be $600. They're response to me about the extra cost was your car is real technical so we charged you for diagnosis, my response was aren't all cars now days VERY technical he said yes but thats the way it is. By the way how far advanced can a 2008 car be compared to a 2018 vehicle. Beware of hidden charges they will happen.

These guys are GREAT! Very knowledgeable and they take the time to explain what they are doing and why. I researched to find a quality (no pun intended) car service center and this business consistently gets great reviews. Now I know why. Bill's Quality Auto Care will be my mechanic shop of choice from now on. Every employee I encountered was helpful and was interested in providing an excellent service experience. Yes, I found them to be honest and helpful and most of all I found them to have above average customer service. Kudos to Alex for being professional and helpful from initial phone call to my driving away. Very reasonable prices for the quality of work done. Reasonable wait time. But above all- and this really cannot be stressed enough- excellent customer service. Friendly, helpful, encouraging. If this is important to you, (it is to me) then give this shop a try. I'm sure I'll need something fixed again and when I do, I will return.

My husband and I had a Saturday almost nightmare when our car died around 2pm in a local parking lot. My best friends wedding was at 4pm and we are from the Bay Area. being pretty clueless to where to take the car to. Currently praising and thanking God for yelp, AAA, and Bill's Auto Care. Initially I had called another car repair place right before Bill's and the man on the phone in comparison was very short with me and emphasized how we needed to get the car there now to have it out by their closing time of 4:30p. Sounding rushed and unsympathetic I called the next place on yelps list which was Bill's.

From the initial phone call - Alex's voice was immediately calming and comforting- they weren't closing until 5pm and. if it was the issue I thought it was (the engine starter) it would be a quick and easy fix and our vacation plans wouldn't be ruined. (Had to check out Sunday to head to Disneyland) At this point we had both calmed down and the husbands AAA had an eta of 3p and I left to go get ready for the wedding. (Thankful for uber now too) Husbands experience: Alex was friendly, understanding, and he ordered the part immediately pretty positive it was the starter after an initial diagnosis.

So as the car went to get a full diagnosis the part was there in less than 15 minutes. After arriving at 3:10pm he was out by 4:10. with a complimentary check of our fluids and tire pressure included. Free water, coffee, candy. clean restroom and comfortable waiting area. My husband could tell there were a lot of repeating customers due to the first name basis that Alex addressed some people that came in. Alex also updated my husband which was comforting.

The price was fair- and for the timing perfect for our needs. Would definitely recommend anyone in the area to check this place out in need! THANK YOU ALEX AND THANK YOU BILL'S AUTO CARE!

Before I get into it, let me say that if you need a repair done quickly this is a good place to go. Now, I've had a couple repairs done at this shop and have had an alright experience. I had one $2000 job done on my engine and something went wrong with the thermostat they installed and they replaced it under warranty for free. A second time my engine had issues I wanted them to check to see if it's under warranty or if it needed a different repair, and they have to diagnose it for a ridiculous price of $140.

If it's a warranty repair the diag is free otherwise you have to pay the fee, even if you decided to go ahead and do the new repair. A lot of places will do free diags or at least cheaper diagnoses. It pretty much voids the point of their warranty because you might be forced to pay $140 just to see if you can use it. Alright business, hope they do free diags in the future.
