Beyer Motorworks I had a very positive experience working with the good folks at Beyer Motor Works. I took my 2009 Z4 in for a brake job as well as a few additional minor repairs and I met some very qualified professionals. They kept me well-informed of the repairs, explaining everything in excellent detail. They performed all repairs as promised with appropriate turnaround time. I appreciated the friendliness and the fairness of the price. They even gave me rides to and from my house! Excellent service inside and out.
Services
Beyer Motor Works auto repair shop is conveniently located in Chandler, Arizona. Our quality ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified mechanics employ today's latest automotive technology and are equipped to handle all major and minor auto repair services on foreign and domestic vehicles. Experts recommend changing the oil and oil filter in your vehicle every 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever is first. It's an essential way to maximize engine protection. Oil changes at 7,500 miles are usually too long an interval for most common driving conditions.
Your BMW or Mini Cooper's air conditioner diminishes heat and humidity from within the passenger compartment, and in Arizona, this is a MUST HAVE. You can't drive around Arizona without an operational A/C. Or at least, you shouldn't. The air conditioning is powered by a belt and compresses your vehicle's refrigerant and pumps it through the A/C system.
You've probably heard the phrase, "they don't make 'em like they used to". Your BMW or Mini Cooper's battery contradicts this phrase 100%. Lead-acid battery technology has been in existence for decades because to this day it benefits you more than a majority of other components. Many newer BMW's utilize AGM (absorbent gas mat) construction batteries which require replacement with the same type.
Think about how often you use your brakes. Stop lights, stopping behind other cars, parking, and the more serious times when a child or a dog goes running out into the street, traffic shows up out of nowhere on the highway, etc. When it comes to safety you NEED your brakes and can't take any chances.

Amazing team! Professional, knowledgeable and the best service I have ever had on any vehicle I own. I bought a BMW for my 16 year old daughter, and will definitely come back when I'm ready for vehicle service, or my next vehicle purchase. Mary Sanders Service: Auto water leak repair

These folks are awesome! The local BMW service center said I needed 3 repairs which surprised me so I asked these folks to take a look. Not only did I not need 2 of the repairs (which saved me $1,400), Chris took me out to my car to show me what did and did not need to be repaired. If you want honest, trustworthy and reasonable repairs, this company is the one for you!

Thank you Beyer Motor Works for doing a professional & detailed inspection/diagnosis on my Mercedes and pointing out what needs to be fixed. I appreciate the transparency and honesty and providing a great service for my vehicle. I will be coming back and letting your team of mechanics do what the do best to help get my Mercedes back in tip top shape.

You have a customer for life and I will tell all my friends and family who own European cars to take their vehicles to your shop for a professional experience. A special thanks to Doug and his team for taking care of me!

We needed brakes on our 2015 Mercedes ML350 and I thought the estimated cost was a little high, but the vehicle was already there so I approved them proceeding with the repair. After researching the parts costs from the invoice a few days later I realized there was a considerable markup, as much as 100% on one of the parts. We also didn't realize they closed at 5:00pm, the sign on the door said 5:30 and Suzy wasn't happy when we arrived a little late to pickup the vehicle. Doug texted me for feedback and I responded overall it was not a good experience, but I never heard back from him. Needless to say we will not be returning with our Mercedes or any other vehicle in the future.

Last Friday my 2003 BMW530i overheated near my home and was towed to Beyers Motor Works, They quickly diagnosed the problem ( burst upper hose) and had it ready for pickup on Monday morning. A couple of days later after just starting the car a Coolant Level Check warning appeared. I called the shop and spoke to the mechanic, Chris, and he offered to come to my house to take a look since I was reluctant to drive it.

He quickly realized the issue, added a little coolant and fixed the problem. This is what I call service, beyond a doubt! This visit was much appreciated. Spoke to the owner, Doug, shortly afterwards and acknowledged the great service. I have been going to Beyers for many years and this response has reassured me of their continued commitment to client satisfaction. Thank you all at Beyers! Victor Palmieri

Doug the service Manager is great to work with, very honest and to the point. They will not try to sell you stuff that is needed like dealerships. I had to have my engine replaced and they gave me 2 options and cost. I went with new mini engine from Germany with 2 yr warranty and unlimited miles. The engine only took a week to get here and they were on top of it and called me while I was out of town and said the car would be ready when I got back. Just finished the 500 mile breakin and oil change. These people are great to work with. See you at my next oil change 5 k miles.

I think that my main concern when I decide to use any service center is, that they are very honest and upfront with what does or doesn't need to be repaired or replaced. Owning a BMW can be an expensive, so I also think it is important to pick a service center that takes care of you, not taking your wallet. Plus a staff that is very friendly and informative. Bayer Motor Works fills all of the above requirements.

I would definitely recommend Bayer Motor Works to any BMW or Mini owner. Update 4/23/2022. I had a problem with the electric trunk release. As I have in the past I took the car to Beyer. Since I have an extended warranty I assumed that they pay most of the cost, less my $100 deductible. I found out from Premier Warranty that they only pay the MSRP for any parts, they told me that the part Beyer used was over the MSRP. Also, they told me that had Beyer included diagnostic into the labor cost they would have paid that.

This information was not communicated to me by Beyer motors, had that information been discussed with me I would not have gone round and round with them about the bill. However, I did call back and offered to pay the difference that they were nice enough to discount more than normal. This does not mean I will lower my rating for them. I am still satisfied with the work they do there, and I still recommend them. This is just info for Doug and the owner to make things better in the future. Trunk works great again. Thank you.

I have used Beyer Motor Works for over two decades. I did not use them the last few years because I had a new BMW that was under warranty and I switched from a Bimmer to another foreign car. I am glad to say that I am back with a 2015 BMW 550i and it had some problems. I called up Beyer and I could not believe Keith remembed me from twenty something years ago.

It was like I never left. It felt great to be back with the same level of service I experienced years ago. Doug and Keith were very helpful in getting my F10 running smoothly. they gave recommendations on what was needed for the car but never pressured me. In fact they said some of it could be delayed and be done at a later date. Now after all of this I was home I get a text from Doug following up to see how everything is running. That's what I love about Beyer. Glad to be back! Thank you Beyer!

The staff at Beyer are all very personable and friendly. They seem to take their tasks very seriously. I had them replace a leaking gasket so nothing monumental. This does not seem like your run-of-the-mill auto shop, hopefully it won't be anytime soon, but if my Mini needs a doctor, I'll be back at Beyer. January 2022; back once again. Mini Coopers are quirky characters.

A simple DIY fix can devolve into a nightmare in a hurry. The guys at Beyer enable me to avoid that peril and do so with INTEGRITY; an ever decreasing virtue among the business world. I had the check-engine light come on. My code scanner indicated a fuel tank ventilation/air system purge leak. Beyer's high dollar scanner concurred and the repair quote was very reasonable.

When the job was done and it came time to pay the total was a huge chunk LESS THAN THE QUOTE. The reason; a hose that usually breaks during the repair didn't break. The shop obviously could have just held that info and charged me the original amount and I would have been completely unaware and just as pleased with the work. With their display of integrity however they have solidified their stance as the automotive stress-reliever of choice for me and Zippy.

Brought my m5 in because BMW and another independent BMW shop couldnt locate an intermittent sound. These giys were awesome and found the sound in less than an hour. They diligently went through the car and found a couple tiny coolant leaks as well. They also provide a courtesy ride like BMW does. Highly reccomended these guys for your M needs.

I disliked my experience, and I was overcharged by them. My gas cap was broken by the service tech there; they tried to get me to buy a new one on my dime, but I said no. Maybe they're just looking for business. I would compliment them on attention to detail at finding problems, but I just had some things fixed at another place and they recommended the same things again. I'm not sure what happened. I dont have time to waste on these things.

If you're searching for a good, honest & reliable BMW repair shop look no more. Beyer Motor Works is the shop for you. I can't thank them enough for the excellent service they have provided me. I had quite a bit of work to be done on my car and I was extremely grateful for the in house payment plan they set up for me. What a lifesaver. Thank you to Doug, Keith & Amanda you all truly are the best!

They knew what they were doing. Prices are fair. Very professional and courteous. They didn't try to ratchet up the bill wasting my time diagnosing random issues.

I've been a customer at Beyer for a year and a half, and they've taken great care of my R56. I trust them entirely, they've kept me completely updated with all potential concerns and preventative maintenance WITHOUT feeling pushy in any way. I've been to other BMW/Mini specialty shops and there always seems to be a certain vibe that rubs me the wrong way. At Beyer, the second I walked in and was greatest by Doug I knew I found my shop!

By far the best experience I have ever had when dealing with a auto shop! Both Dougs and Amanda are amazing. Their mechanics are very knowledgeable and even took me back into the shop to show me the issues I was having with my 640i and how they were going to fix them. They even paid for my Uber back home. These guys made sure my car was fixed properly and went above and beyond on the customer service. If you own a BMW and you want reliable service and the comfort of knowing your car will be fixed right please choose Beyers.

One big hoax, scam and a joke all mixed in one. Their response to my complaint contradicts what they told me the second time around but that's life, fair and peachy.

I have always owned BMW's and Beyer Motor Works are top notch. The owner Doug is honest, friendly and went beyond the call of duty when I had my Mini Cooper break down. He was kind enough to call Lyft to take me home when I dropped it off to be repaired. I will continue to use Doug and his friendly staff.

After a search in town for a rare part to complete a big job, Keith was more than willing and friendly to help explain and answer all my questions. All the personnel there were quite friendly and attentive. They showed me they care for my needs and treated me with all the attention I needed over a $7 part. That kind of care forges relationships and I work for a large BMW store. Thank you for your help and I will be back for you to look in on my E46!

Over two years of continued excellence and above and beyond *quality* service from the folks at Beyer Motor Works. Yesterday, I brought in my 2004 BMW E46 330Ci to address its left fog light which had an unfortunate encounter with a pesky rock on the freeway. Also addressed a failed driver's side door handle carrier. After the repair, I noticed a hissing coming from my window.

I returned to the shop and was taken care of promptly. The problem was immediately remedied and I drove off happy as can be. As I've said before, Beyer Motor Works is second to none. - Friendly, personable staff (shout outs to both Dougs and Keith) - Quality repairs by expert technicians (thanks for keeping my BMW in tip-top shape, Chris) - Customer service like no other 6/5 stars. :)

Brought my Mini Cooper in for service this week and I will be using Beyer exclusively in the future. I'm so glad to have finally found somewhere to take my Mini after the experiences I've had with the Mini dealership service departments. Well worth the drive to Chandler for me. Local owner and long time employees. They remembered my dad from when they bought his BMW almost ten years ago.

When I called, a person picked up the phone. I didn't have to be redirected through an operator and then get a voicemail of someone in the service department who probably wouldn't return my call. No wait time. Everyone was friendly and explained everything in terms I could understand. Service was honest, fast, and incredibly reasonable. Small courtesies like changing out my key FOB battery and refilling my windshield wiper fluid will keep me coming back. Thank you, Doug!

**Beware** This outfit may have a few stellar reviews but they are dishonest. I do not recommend taking your ultimate driving machine to this shop of thieves. While cruising down I10 in the rain my windshield wipers malfunctioned. I could hear the motor and they would start and stop randomly. The next morning, I called and dropped my beemer off for diagnostics.

The initial tech did a visual inspection and said that because the motor was getting power and was trying to function it was probably the relay module going bad. Fast forward 5 hrs, I received a call from the service manager saying the motor died as they were testing and a replacement motor costs $600 + labor for a total of $1000 which I instantly refused.

When I returned 15 min later to retrieve my vehicle the motor was completely inoperable, the wipers were left sprawling across my windshield and the service manager was visibly upset and did not have the courtesy to address a new customer in a cordial manner. The entire diagnostic service was half done for which I demanded a refund the next morning.

After locating a reputable mechanic to perform the repair work it turned out that the characters of Beyer Motor Works had removed the relay module to create the appearance of a bad motor. As painful and unnecessary as this experience has been I am thankful that I trusted my instincts and saved $800. Now you have a candid review to help you make an informed decision.

I've been taking my 2012 128i to Beyer since I moved to the valley last year. They do first rate work and I wouldn't trust my car to any other shop.

Honestly, if you haven't brought your BMW or Mini here for repairs or scheduled maintenance, you have missed out on the BEST SERVICE in the valley! Their attention to the customer, that would be me in this case, and their attn to my car was far superior than anywhere else I've had my car serviced. They HAVE the specialized tools and tech diagnostics to quickly assess the issue and get it repaired. They even have their own PARTS dept on-site! Wow! HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 5 solid stars!

Had a valve adjustment done on my 2006 Z4M and was very happy with the work. Completed correctly, on time and as quoted. Rates are more than competitive and the shuttle service to and from the office was much appreciated. Highly recommend.

I just took my car here for a problem with the transmission. Came to pick it up after it was inspected and it had a broken headlight with the bulb missing. The car was perfectly fine before and the owner refused to take responsibility for it being broken in their care. Dishonest and untrustworthy. The owner started laughing and making fun of my vehicle after I pointed out they broke the headlight. Never going back.

New to BMW and went here after having some electrical issues with my 2007 Z4. Well, it turns out it was just a marginally bad battery (despite having it checked at a couple of auto parts stores since that's what I suspected) that was causing the computers to limit the blower speed due to lower voltage output. Sometimes I miss my old '70 El Camino. though tuning a carb isn't fun either. Paying shop labor to replace makes me cringe since it's so easy - but convenience counts too. However, they also justified the labor saying the battery needed to be registered (not sure I believe that from the forums - E85/N52 should be one of the last designs without that 'feature') and charged for telling me they could *not* change the programming in the computer from a 90mA setting to the 80 mA batteries which were the only ones available makes me feel less-than-five-stars.

Note - the new battery is much larger than the old (which was installed by a previous owner, obviously from an auto parts store) and didn't have a mA rating, so that might have contributed. Also noted some other work that needed to be done, but wasn't aggressive about doing it now which I appreciate. And a nice local shuttle that got me to work and back. So I'll be back for any new issues I can't deal with on my own.
