I have had them fix a couple cars for me. I recently purchased a car for my daughter and Mike at Benders, looked a couple over before giving me the green light to purchase one. They are honest and if you're a woman, you should bring your car here.

I was recommended to come here one time in the past when my brakes on my 2018 accord were making l funny noises. the mechanic Mike checked it and told me this was an issue that would be covered under warranty. my first thought was this place is legit and not like other shops that lie to get your money. long story short I went back to the dealer and was charged $0 by both parties. the second time I needed regular maintenance and a new air filter. my first thought was to call Honda dealer. again it was going to be around $200 for both oil change and air filter.

I called benders and got an estimate and it was way cheaper and quality oil! Not only did the mechanic make me feel like my car was in good hands but the receptionist Diana had exceptional customer service! I will definitely be coming back for my baby to be serviced! RUDE! I came in with an appointment at 1:00 for a steering alignment. I walk up to the office and I am about to enter, and this little lady tells me "let's go outside" I tell her about my 1:00 PM appointment and she says "we don't have any appointments at 1:00, no one is here that can do alignments" then she says "leave your truck here, we will call you in a few hours" I spoke to Mike yesterday, he said to come in at 1:00 and I can just wait because it will only take 30 minutes.

He was out to lunch at 1:00 so I waited in the parking lot. Next a little old man with a severe case of small man's complex comes running out and says "what's with the attitude" long story short I went to bear frame and wheel and it was cheaper and everyone was really nice, they also let me wait for it to be done. About 20 minutes.

Shout out to Bender's. I recently had a blow out on my new RAV4, called at 9:00 am, was there by 10:00. Diana & Mike we're friendly, professional and all was fixed and realigned before dinner time! It doesn't get better than that folks!

Had my engine swapped out here. They did a great job. Did it quick and my car back and running. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Tom Bender, the owner, is an extremely down to earth and reasonable guy who is completely transparent about his work and costs, and has always treated my vehicles with the utmost care. I would highly recommend this shop for any repair or body needs, as he and his staff are highly experienced.

Benders is the best! If I could give them 10 stars I would! I am from outta state and was looking to purchase a used lexus. The first one I brought to them they gave me all the details on the things that were wrong with it, took the time to explain what was wrong and what to look for. Took it back to the dealership and he just kinda shrugged his shoulders and acted like he didn't know of any of the problems.

So I found another one I really liked brought it to Benders to have it checked out. I love the level of service they provided and felt like I was treated like family! I wish all auto places were like Benders! Right now I'm typing this review in my new lexus! Thank you Mike, Pete, Diana and the rest of the staff at Benders! Cant wait for my drive back to Michigan! We need a Benders in Michigan!

We've (entire family, over 10 vehicles) been taking our vehicles to Benders over the past 10-15 years. Mike and Tom and have always treated us fairly. I've never felt taken advantage of or pushed into something I wasn't entirely sure of. Their work is timely and superb. We have friends now that are using Benders on our recommendations and recommending their friends and family. One of our great businesses here in Covina.

Benders is my go to repair shop for my 2013 Scion FR-S. I recently had my car in to rebuild my FR-S motor due to a valve spring breaking. The engine rebuild exceeded my expectations. Great service with an emphasis on professionalism. Tom and Mike were so easy to work with and very friendly. This is a great auto repair shop. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Bender has been taking care of my cars for over 15 years. Tom and his crew are professional, fast and always get the job done. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I usually got mistreated or taken financially advantage of by dealers; but never once at Benders. save yourself the hassle of shopping around, benders is reasonably priced and the service is awesome!

Our daughter had been experiencing problems with her car not starting, she had tried with other shops to resolve the issue unsuccessfully, obviously very frustrating. We took it to Benders and they were able to isolate the problem and found a few other things that we thought were just characteristics of the car but obviously were serious issues. Thanks for getting her on the road and relieving her underlying stress that she would get stuck somewhere!

Mike at Benders was great. Walked me step by step and explained everything that had to be done in a manner so that I could understand it. I'd go back to him, but he fixed my truck so good I don't think I'll be back at Benders for a while until 1,000 mike check so he can see how it's running. We were new to the area and had trouble finding a reliable shop. My husband's 14 year old car needed some work and we were dreading the cost. Tom was able to fix it at a minimal cost and it's still running great 2 years later. Then the dealership where we had purchased our new car told us we were in need of several major services totaling $700.

We went to Tom for a second opinion and he confirmed that most of what they quoted was unnecessary and completed what needed to be done for 1/2 the cost. We really appreciate the honest work Bender's does.

This is your mechanic! Been coming here for years and they always do an excellent job on my vehicles. Recently had some exhaust work done and needed a major job performed which the removal of the exhaust was required only to find out the slip shod work that was performed by the other shop. This is the place to fix other mechanics' mistakes, mishaps and markups.

Their prices are always competitive and reasonable. But the excellent work which they perform, stand by and guarantee is what keeps me coming back! Never settle for less, never go anywhere else, because you won't have to.

Benders is AWESOME!I am a poor girl -but i love my hotrod! My '74 Nova is my daily driver, and the crew at Benders has kept us on the road for 3+yrs now. I trust them implicitly. This is the only place i take my big girl-even just for an oil change. Mike totally takes care of us every time. He keeps me up to date with what's going on - not only with any immediate repairs - but with what I may need to think about doing in the future - all with no pressure.

Great shop! Bender's has repaired and restored all the vehicles I have owned over the past 12 years and I've never had a bad experience. There prices are fair and they stand behind their work. If your looking to restore a vintage vehicle, this is the place to go.
