I wrote an earlier review discussing the problems I have with a rather expensive bill I incurred when getting transmission coolant lines replaced. The original review was negative, but the owner of Bell's Auto followed up with me the next day to make things right. He ended up correcting parts of the bill, which saved me a significant amount. I genuinely appreciated that he followed up.

It was clear he took the time to learn about my vehicle, the maintenance that was done, and the problems in the billing. This experience greatly increased my confidence with Bell's Auto, which is why I am editing this review. I'm not out to blame people for an honest mistake, and I am glad the situation could be resolved. I appreciate the owner's diligence and I have confidence that he runs an honest business.

Excellent service, very knowledgable (and personable) staff, fairly priced, honest, and up-front about what work needs to be done. Jeff and his staff have repeatedly gone above and beyond to make sure my car is well taken care of. I can't recommend them highly enough; I send every friend and acquaintance their way. If I could give them six stars, I would.

1. All employees that I dealt with when dropping my car were not wearing masks. Completely unacceptable. Not a mask in sight. I had to arrange to pay over the phone and pick up after hours so that I wouldn't have to risk my health. 2. They refused to honor a competitor's rate on an oil change. I had the coupon and it would have been a nice gesture.

Been calling around different shops for prices to put in a transmission. And that woman thing obviously dont know jack cuz they wanted 1800 just to do it while i can have it done for 500 including putting in a clutch. So now i know to never ever bring my business there. Its funny people who knows what there doing they can get it done for cheap.

Was satisfied with call back time and repair time. Jeff was up front about vehicle issues and got it running again without unnecessary work and cost, offered a veterans discount when asked. Will be returning.

I've brought two different vehicles to Bell's for NY state inspections and I've found their service to be prompt and professional. One time I left the vehicle there (their preference), and one time I request to wait with the vehicle and they had the inspection done within an hour. Make sure you clearly communicate with them if you have time restraints and they will do their best to work with you. I haven't had repairs done at Bell's but I wouldn't hesitate to try.

Came in for an inspection, they told me I had to leave the car and come back after a certain time. And so I did just to find my inspection failed because my windshield had a crack. Then they charge me $20+ because once they run the NYS inspection program, NYS will charge them for it. That's understandable but wouldn't you want to do an inspection of my car before plugging anything.

This is dishonesty or lack of attention. Either one makes for a bad mechanic. These guys don't have your best interest at heart. If they did, they would've told me that a crack windshield is not going to pass and move on. Ladies and gentlemen, find a better more honest place than this. Rushed customer service, only one person handling the office work so expect to wait and don't ask very many questions or else you will get an attitude.

I can always count on Bell's auto. Twice I had to randomly stop in to have my car looked at because of a noise and they were able to fix it. We take our cars there regularly for maintenance. I truly appreciate their customer service. Thank you Mark!

Came in for an inspection right as they were closing up and the mechanic said not to worry about it and did it after he finished up. Very Nice staff, and finished the inspection quickly. I'llgo back for routine maintenace when its due.
