Resolved several immediate repairs to keep my older model subaru running with great customer service and care. Fair pricing and very efficient. Brought my car in on a Monday to have the water pump and serpentine belts replaced and I had my car back by Thursday. I also appreciate the text notifications, I was able to see what they were going to get done on my car without have to speak on the phone with someone and that was very convenient. I had a slipping belt on my alternator. To tighten the belt, the vehicle needs to be put up on a hoist. I took the vehicle to the Art Morris facility, got my estimate and authorized the repairs. They took me home to wait out the repairs (new belt) and picked me up again when the repairs were done. The people (Hunter Morris) were great, the price was acceptable and the service was just outstanding. I know where I will be taking my vehicle when it needs repairs in the future.

READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE TRUSTING THIS PLACE WITH YOUR AUTOMOBILE My father had been using this shop as their mechanic for a couple of years before they recommended it to my girlfriend and I for work on her car. They allowed us to pay them for $2600 of work they did on our car before they let us know that our car wasn't worth investing that money in in the first place.

Mind you The reason we brought the car to them in the first place was to see if it was worth investing any money in. Back to my dad, my parents had a minivan that they weren't driving because Art Morrison auto repair told my father that the vans transmission was starting to slip and no longer safe for them to drive unless my dad were to pay them 4000 up for a new transmission for the van.

Well my girlfriend and I borrowed this van and drove it and felt like there was nothing wrong with it so we took the van to my girlfriends mechanic who she felt confident she could trust and sure enough after thorough examination of the van these mechanics told us that there was absolutely nothing wrong with this minivan and that we could take it on a long hard drive to the Olympic national Forest if we wanted to and not have to worry about having any problems with van my parents thought was unsafe to drive except for that they had taken it to a place that was not trustworthy and was trying to milk them for a new transmission in their van that didn't really need it.

I can't tell you how irritating it is to know that my mother and father were being taken advantage of by this place and that they honestly thought they were going to be able to get my mom and dad to pay them $4000 for a new transmission that they didn't need. I'm just glad my parents know now that this is not the place to bring your car because these guys are creeps who take advantage of people who don't understand anything about working on cars.

Thank you to Hunter and the people at Art Morris. I walked out of there feeling like I had been treated fairly, with respect & with complete transparency to work that had been done and what would be needed going forward. I initially worked w/them because they managed to earn my father's trust w/ his beloved '79 Ranchero. (A HUGE deal in itself). I left there today w/ the same level of trust & told them they had a customer for life. If you are looking for a reliable local shop you can trust, I highly recommend Art Morris.

I went in to have my starter looked at. Hunter looked at it and told me it was fine and that they didn't want to charge me for Labor when it was not needed. I respected that and since I was in the market for a set of tires I asked for a quote on a set of 195 60R 15 tires and since I liked the price I told him I would be in on Monday and leave the vehicle for the day.

He took my information and put it into the computer and said he would see me Monday. On Monday morning I dropped off the vehicle but Hunter was not there. The technician found me in the computer and took my keys. I left. Later I missed a call and when I called back Hunter answered and admitted that he had inadvertently forgotten to order in my tires.

He said he was sorry and would do something to make up for it. It was an inconvenience but more expedient to leave my vehicle over night. I changed my plans and stayed home Monday night. At 2pm Tuesday I called to see when my vehicle would be done. Hunter let me know that he was waiting for my tires to be delivered and they should arrive around 3pm and my vehicle would be done around 4pm. Based on that timeline, I was actually driving in to get my car when Hunter called me with a story that he hadn't ordered the 195 60R 15 tires I requested, but instead 185 60R 15 tires and that the confusion was because my car had multiple sizes of tires on it.

I don't believe that because it was an out of state purchase and subject to a 45 minute department of transportation inspection prior to licensing. Such a thing would most likely have been noted. Also the set of tires on my car matched. However even so, I as the customer requested 195 60R 15 tires and don't understand why I didn't get them? My first ever job was in a tire store, so I know that the tires he put on are almost a half inch smaller in diameter and cause a 2% change in my speedometer reading. Hunter took off 10% for my inconvenience. But I am not 100% satisfied that I got what I expected.

I love the new updated system they put in place. They send you a photo of your vehicle when it is done. They have repaired our broken cars over the years and we love getting the oil changes too. Took in my pickup that I just bought thinking it needed a tune up. They asked how it was behaving, then they had a technician take a look at it. Meanwhile, they gave me an estimate for the job. I said go ahead and they ordered the parts. In the meantime, the technician said the fuel pump was bad. They gave me another estimate, I said go ahead. The truck now runs much better, and there was no charge for the analysis. They were very friendly and above board.

Had my vehicle towed to art Morse And they explained that it must be in the Ignition system as to why the vehicle wouldn't start. They charged me 3 x more than the factory had listed it. They billed me 290 to have a synced key made and only one key. I ended with a 900 bill vs the 600 I was quoted on the phone. The car died 1.5 blocks from their shop only to self correct.

When it died again the explanation was "computer is shorted." Now they have effectively divorced themselves from their work warranty. I don't trust them. Morr interested in your nickels & dimes.

We have been here a few times, most recently to get brakes done. They didn't do them right the 1st time so I had to go back 2 weeks later when the brakes were burning up. Then they tore into my vehicle and told me it needed a new rear end at 3800 bucks.which was total BS I got a 2nd opinion and the rear end is just fine. They made it sound like the vehicle wouldn't drive another mile without this repair.its been driving just fine. They are always trying to push unnecessary things on the customer, we definitely won't be going back.

My vehicle broke down late at night and I had it towed to the Battleground location. They were able to assess the problem and fix it in record time. This was very helpful as I wasn't from this area and only in town for an event. They kept me in the loop every step of the way. I would highly recommend.

We have been very disappointed with the customer service we have been given at Art Morse. We brought out car in for diagnostic testing which was quick and convenient. When we paid the $147 for these results, we were accidentally charged twice. We went back to Art Morse and explained that we were charged twice and received a refund. After a week, we received a call from the office manager, Gail, who insisted we had not paid our bill and requested we come down and pay them.

We were very confused as we could very clearly see that the money had come from our account. We were informed that our bank statement showing that we had paid was not sufficient proof and were required to contact our bank multiple times to provide more proof that we had paid. We were VERY disappointed in the customer service provided by Gail during this time who was difficult and unpleasant to work with.

In the end, our bank informed us that the second transaction was a glitch on Art Morse's merchant services end and we were refunded a second time. We went in to finally pay our bill with a cashiers check as to not risk another glitch and were informed that we could not receive a receipt of payment. After informing Art Morse that we will not pay without receiving a receipt, they finally provided one.

In all, our experience was frustrating, unpleasant, and disappointing. For a company that has been named a "Top Shop" for customer service, I would expect to be treated far better than how we were treated. We will never give Art Morse our business again and will happily share our unpleasant experience with all our local friends and family.

Had a pre-purchase inspection done here ($140) and was quoted $600 in repairs. Purchased the truck and got back to Oregon and have now paid over $2,800 in repairs in the first 3 months since they quoted everything Incorrectly. Maybe they can change brake pads and an oil change but wouldn't recommend anything further.

I took in my car recently for a brake job. The work was done properly on the brakes, but when they discovered that the radiator fluid was low, they called offering to "take care of it" for $50. I declined and put in $3 worth of fluid and water myself. They later called saying the charge was to pressure test the system, which isn't what I was told on the phone- but no matter, I only took off one star for that.

Fast forward to March 2017, I called Dicks Tire to schedule a brake job for my truck. They quoted me $200 for the front axle which seemed normal. However Dicks was booked out over a week. I figured I'd give Art Morse another try to be fair. I called and was told that the front axle job "starts at $330 and goes up from there". I said, that's not going to happen since Dicks is $200.

They said ok click. So needless to say that was my last try with Art Morse. I'll never go back with any of my vehicles. I stand by my review here and suggest looking elsewhere if you want a good value.

This is the place to go even if you are not local. I had an issue with my vehicle and dropped it off for an inspection. They found the problem was just the tightening of some bolt and when I show up they said no charge. I felt like good service should be recognized and I left $30 for pizzas for the guys in shop. I am defiantly a customer for life!

I've had my daughter's 2007 Chevy Aveo worked on twice by Art Morse. Once for a new timing belt, and once for a valve cover oil leak. They did a great job both times, finishing on time and charged the agreed upon amount.

Just after I moved to Battle Ground I took my car in to have it repaired. I ended up spending over $1000.00 in repairs. I knew that was expensive to have the car repaired for what they were doing, I had other quotes that were less, but they seemed professional and clean. Sometimes that's worth paying a little more. They did the work and were on time but as I was signing the check for over $1000.00 to them, they told me that I was a quart low on oil. Seriously, you couldn't add a $3 quart of oil to my car or for that matter just offer me a free oil change?

I just spent over $1000. That did not impress me. I'm giving them three stars because they did perform the work we had agreed to and it was done on time. This just seems like another company more worried about getting every last dime from a customer as opposed to understanding the concept of a relationship with a customer.

I picked this business to do a pre-inspection of a used car I was going to buy. I didn't actually go into the office but had a conversation with a mechanic and paid over the phone. It seemed at the time that they did a good job, letting me know some problems with the car. I asked for an estimate of repairs and then negotiated with the seller. Then I bought the car and soon found out that it needed a new transmission. I would have never bought the car if I knew this. Seems like a huge thing not to find.

They replaced the O2 sensor and thermostat on my Rodeo. The first time I drove it after getting it back the check engine light came back on. I took it back and was charged another $50 to diagnose a bad EGR valve. They said it needed to be replaced for $250. I said no thanks. When I checked the EGR valve myself I discovered the vacuum line was broken almost completely in half. I spent 8 cents at the auto parts store for some tubing and the check engine light disappeared. Don't go here unless you want to pay for parts you don't need.
