I took my car to this shop a while ago and forgot to write a review. I went in for a transmission swap and I sure regretted it. The day my car arrived the key was carelessly left in my car, left unlocked and left outside. That night, my car was stolen and had thousands of dollars of my belongings and modifications stolen. From the change in my center console to my $750 subwoofers, the interior was basically stripped.
The next day my car was found dumped at Eastgate park about a mile or so away from the shop. There was absolutely no remorse or apology for what happened to my car from the shop or anyone who worked there. Thankfully, I was able to recover my car and get it fixed and driving again. I wouldn't recommend this shop even to my worst enemy. If you have transmission problems please, I'm begging you, find somewhere else especially if you have a nicer car. The whole scenario still sounds fishy to me. Oh and the I forgot to mention, the "fix" took twice as long as they said it would.

Okay, so nobody likes having to go to a mechanic. And transmission shops? Not the kind of place most people go to save money. BASS transmissions is different. They saved is $4500 by talking us out of letting the speakers hip replace my wife's transmission, when all it needed was a quick flash. Definitely recomme told these guys for great prices, four dealing, and friendly service!

Went for my annual inspection, and they were very prompt with my appointment. They were working on another vehicle when I arrived, but they got my vehicle in the shop right on time. Their granddaughter kept me company with great conversation. I would highly recommend this family owned company. Great service and smiling faces!

Called Monday for appointment on Thursday for diagnostic check ($95) on my 2009 Honda Pilot. Danny was very helpful and personable. The lady at the front desk was also very nice and explained everything to me. I was treated like a person not a dollar sign. I highly recommend Bass Transmissions and Automotive Repair.

It seems like a family owned and run business, and our first visit for state inspection went fine. ++ A nice waiting room for customers with a restroom, TV, comfy couches and cushions Nice A/C much needed on a hot day like today! Fast service for state inspection wth a friendly staff keeping us up to date during and after inspection There was a staff who vacuumed the floor in the small area customers walk in and out at least 4 times in the short time sat in the waiting room - I think many other businesses could use half as much vacuuming of their floors!

After years of taking our vehicles to Woods, we were referred to Bass to have transmission work done. From the very first visit, we knew Bass was our new shop. They have honored their warranty when there was an issue.defective part, which Danny kept, showed me, and explained to me. We have full confidence in this shop. Makes me smile to think about how Pat fussed at us about letting the fuel level get too low. Yup. Bass has our business, for sure.
