Had a appointment for 8am for a alignment and tighten and lock tight all jam nuts. They didn't get my Jeep in till 11am as I was waiting in waiting area. Finished Jeep around 2:30. I was hungry and aggravated from waiting I didn't notice that I didn't receive a alignment sheet telling me that the alignment was correct. Front lower control arms jam nuts were tightened and locked tightened but the heim joints are in a bind they aren't strait so when I go off road flexing it's going to bind and not articulate like it's supposed to.

Also non of my other Jam nuts were even touched, checked for proper torque or lock tighted after inspecting them myself. I paid for the service and didn't get what I paid for. Another thing I mentioned was I'm a member of Midwest Jeep thing and thought I would get a 20% discount that I didn't receive.

I purchased jeep accessories for my new jeep. Tommy recommended great products. One item was in stock and the others were available the next day. The staff was very helpful. I would definitely recommend them.

I answered all my questions that I had about my new Jeep. Only because he wouldn't get up and come outside and look at my bumper. I'm sure they're good people but they must have really been busy both of them. I will go back if I need help. Mainly because I do believe they know what they're talking about

These guys are awesome. I had trouble on my way to Kansas City and stopped in. They had me back on the road in short order. I recommend them to anyone. I will drive an hour out of my way just to have them work on my vehicles! Thanks Axle boy Service: Tires

If you have a vision for your vehicle these guys will help you execute it better than you imagined. I've worked with Tommy on my truck for at least the past 6 months on and off and I'm getting down to the last 2 or 3 things I plan on changing before I call the truck done. Tommy is a great dude and I would recommend these guys to anyone, I've already brought one of my friends here who was looking at just going to dobbs. He's just as happy as I have been. I can't say enough good things about these guys I'll be back soon enough.

Don't trust them Installing a stereo pit in wrong size wire wrong size amps to speakers fuse to far from battery and other fuses touching hood metal I had to have another company reinstall the whole thing to do it right he was even so horrified about it that he posted it on his Facebook how bad the job was done.

The guys are great my friend said these guys were great and they didn't disappoint. I came in for tires at a friend's recommendation and these guys are 45 miles from home plenty of other shops in between but he said these are the guys. My front calipers were just hanging there after a recent break job we had done over the weekend. Bolts had fallen out and I didn't notice Tommy called us up and let me know and didn't even charge me for the new bolts.

He got us back on the road same day after they did a bunch more work on his truck too that day(he doesn't let anyone touch his truck). I've got a few projects I'll be doing on my car and I'll definitely be back to have these guys do it. Google only lets me give 5 stars but I would give them more if I could

Axleboy is the only shop I trust with my Jeep. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and always suggest the proper thing to do. If you want something (repairs, a lift, re-gear, etc) done *correctly* using the best quality parts and techs, go to these guys. They've always treated me well and worked hard to get what I'm looking for and guide me to the best options.

Just some highlights are they've found me hard-to-find parts, have a ton of accessories in stock (no waiting for shipping when I waited til the last minute), and even done the best alignment my car has had in years (many other shops had tried but failed). Oh, and they are super involved in the community and help host some awesome events.

Recently had some work done on my 2009 2 door Jeep JK at Axleboys. This was my first experience working with them but I had heard good things about the shop. I talked to Steve about getting a brake inspection done and having my evap system checked because the check engine light had come on. Dropped the vehicle off and they promptly inspected it and found an issue in my evap lines that needed attention And also informed me that I needed to replace the rear brakes (rotors, calipers and pads). Gave them the ok to do the work and they promptly got it done.

While it was there, we decided to upgrade the steering components (Jeep had a problem "wandering" and had some play in the steering wheel. Steve recommended the Teraflex HD tie rod and drag link and and I also had them add a Falcon steering stabilizer. Upon alignment, they noticed that the addition of Teraflex adjustable front mid arms would correct some problems with the axle angle from adding the initial lift so we added those as well. Overall, no more check engine light, brakes have been upgraded and the Jeep drives better than factory!

Love it! And everything was professionally done in a timely manor. Steve stayed in contact with me every step of the way and was invaluable in solidifying me as a future customer. I have a whole list of future mods to check off and I'll definitely enlist Axleboys to help with my build! Thank you all sooooo much!

I have purchased several parts over the years from AxleBoy, always a great experience at the parts counter. Recently The time came to have some pretty service done to my Jeep and I knew there was only one place I would trust my vehicle and that was AxleBoy. On my 1999 Jeep Wrangler my torque boxes had rusted thru (pretty common on that mode of Jeep) and desperately were in need of repair.

I went up to AxleBoy made an appointment and schedule the work. I requested that Bailey be the that assigned technicians or my Jeep as I had seen the work he had done before and was impressed. About 3 weeks later I took my Jeep into AxleBoy and you can see the pictures of the high quality work they performed. Bailey went above and beyond on my Jeep and I couldn't be more satisfied.

The quality of the work is in the details, that aren't easily picked up in a picture. I would not hesitate to have AxleBoy and Bailey work on any of my vehicles in the future. Excellent workmanship, great communication, what else can you ask for. Thank you Bailey and AxleBoy, you have a lifetime customer!

I had probably everything that could go wrong with my install with day before part that was supposed to show up got extremely delayed then another part was missing with the install kit. Axelboy tried to give me options for replacements and was extremely accommodating with issues that weren't there fault, like setting me up with a rental car due to the delay from the supplier. In comparison to the other places around STL area the professionalism, response time, and overall experience with axelboy will not get any better. Highly recommend

My experience with Axleboy Offroad was mixed. First, very responsive, answered my questions, helped me figure out what I wanted to do and best fit my budget. They were timely in getting the Jeep in and getting the work done. However, that is where things got a little worse. First, I asked for all the takeoffs to be kept. When I went to pick up the Jeep, they "forgot" and I had to go back to get everything. Then, after going back, they "forgot" the bumper again. Also, since picking it up, it has had a strong pull to the right alignment, tire pressure, etc. are all checked & good.not a road camber issue.

At the time, the shop said we'll fit you and get it fixed and the bumper too! Since then.almost 6+ weeks ago, they won't respond to emails, phone calls/messages, etc. Very disappointed. I am likely going to have to find someone to fix it and finish my build. Seems like the issue may be improper alignment & set-up work after the lift/level.

Although I liked them throughout the process, once the build was done, the lack of response to address issues and the fact the Jeep was "released to a customer" with this issue is not good customer service. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them.

These guys go above any beyond to make sure the job is done right. Few shops take as much pride in their work as Axleboy

I don't have words to describe how unsatisfied I am after having Axleboy work on my 2013 Jeep JK. Took the Jeep here after sliding on some ice in a gas station parking lot and running into a curb. I was told there was $1,700 worth of damage and that I needed to replace several parts on my front end, but was assured the Jeep would drive much better than before. Got the Jeep back and drove for about 300 miles before determining the Jeep was WORSE than before. Notified Axleboy and dropped the Jeep off for adjustments.

They proceeded to tell me that I needed ANOTHER $700 worth of parts but this time they guaranteed me it would drive 100% better. $700 later and I can't even drive highway speeds without the Jeep vibrating and shaking all over the road. So, $2,400 spent, and I have a vehicle that is undriveable on the highway. Bottom line, my Jeep was perfectly fine prior to sliding on the ice and trusting Axleboy to perform the repairs. Now it's a complete mess that I will surely have to pay someone else to rectify.

They do good work here, but pretty overpriced. I brought my JK here for a lift and they did a great job and the staff was very friendly. Just don't come here if you are looking for decent rates

Not only do these guys do excellent work, they really care. They really take care of you through every step. I was a first time JK owner and wanted to lift it. They spent several hours with me and had me drive a couple of their Jeeps to understand a couple options. They helped me pick the right 3 lift package and the right wheels (which is really hard to do).

The finished product is just awesome. You will be in good hands with Axleboy no matter what your needs are. I wouldn't take the time to write a review if I didn't truly believe this.

These guys will fix anything, but if you have a Jeep, there is no other place to go! Scott the owner, aka Axleboy is great, he will get out there and talk to you. And Greg and Bryan have always taken care of my Jeeps, trucks and cars. I cannot speak more highly of a place.

I recently took my car to a chain oil change place that also does maintenance work on the vehicle and they told me I needed about $3000 worth of work that I should have done. I had met one of the mechanics at Axleboy, Brian Mottin, and he recommended I bring my car there. After they looked at it they found that half of the stuff the other place recommended was not needed and that there was really only one thing that needed to be completed immediately and what to look for to determine when the other things had to be fixed. Thank you AxleBoy!
