I have been bringing our cars to OC AutoMedics for a few years and always find that they are honest, fair priced, quick and perform quality work. Just recently had to bring in a car with no notice in the afternoon and they had it back to me, fixed the next morning!

I value my time too much to leave reviews but this is an exceptional case and a 'hope for humanity' kind of story. I had a BMW i3 with a bad AC compressor, according to another shop that I spent more than I did with Morey just to figure it out. Long story short, going the BMW-preferred route would've cost me anywhere from 7 to 15 grand because of how ridiculous the cooling system is designed/engineered into the battery cooling system.

I found some experienced friends on a i3 Facebook group with the same issue and they recommended I find a regular air conditioning shop to deal with the matter. I checked out a few shops and decided to go with Morey. I could tell from the beginning this guy was passionate and determined to help me out. Like some kind of a hybrid between a mechanic and a lawyer.

I felt like I was in good hands. He was more upset about how expensive it would have been to buy a replacement compressor than I was, lol. He told me to be patient and I trusted him. He persevered and ended up getting my compressor working again, flushed the lines, and fixed some leaks to have my system working great again. He didn't charge me to learn the car (he admitted he hadn't worked on this car before) and kept his rates reasonable. Overall, trustworthy, competent, and hard-working shop. Rare find these days.

OC Automedics is a mechanic you can trust. His prices are great but the best part I have found is when he does a job I don't have to bring it back multiple times to have the job done right, one and done which is what you want when it comes to car repairs. Morey is a great mechanic and business owner who cares for his customers. I had booked a shop to replace my engine 2+ months out and 3 days before the engine was to be delivered they bailed on the job.

I was scrambling, trying to find a shop who could replace an engine, no easy job, OC Automedics was one of the shops that had a competitive price and seemed trustworthy and I'm glad I chose them. Since then money has solved two more big problems I just didn't have time to investigate myself. Defective rotors making an awful sound and I was able to get my money back from the other company, he replaced with the brand he trusts and no problems since.

Last he replaced my front suspension and steering, you know the thing that controls the direction the truck goes. Upper control arms, lower control arms, and rack and pinion and I felt the difference from day one. And not to mention again having great prices and not gouging like I've seen from other shops. If you have car troubles give Morey a call, he'll take care of you.

I have used this shop for all my cars over the last several years and have never been disappointed. Their services have ranged from engine rebuild, various part replacements, a/c repair and brake repairs. Morey has always kept me informed throughout the service process and helped to keep costs down with repair suggestions or alternatives. I highly recommend this business.

Sister took the car there and tried to charge dealership rates for simple muffler repair. The guy refuses to give you a quote until after he tears down the car so he can over charge. Buyer beware!

Quote for water pump was $1200 plus. Simple job becuase everything is up front int the engine bay and nothhing in the car needed to be taking out, strait forward intsall, I just dont have the space for coolant spills. I stated that I didnt need the $400 water pump and that I would take the $150 2nd best water pump made for the car. I told Morey only needed 1 hose to thermostat, 1 belt, thermostat, 2nd best water pump, and coolant, what was the best price, he then quoted $900.

The job was estimated at other places at $550 but since close by dropped off. 4 hours later job was done went check bill $950 and he did cheaper chinese water pump but more pricey, 2 hoses, 2 belts, and charged $110 to take off hoses that already come off when taking off waterpump of which takes 1 minute, $77 to take screws off and install thermostat that already is off when you take out water pump of which takes 3 minutes to take out the screws and clean and seal, $50 for the other hose that I did not want installed, $50 for other belt that I did not want, and a $77 Coolant flush that is not needed when you drain since its apart of the labor for waterpump install was $195 which dosnt take 2 hours but maybe thay dont have mechanical tools.

All in all the work was done but some things that I did not want done and asked not to be done and charge $110 hose labor, $77 thermostat labor, $77 coolant flush for labor that was already apart of the labor charge to take off the waterpump of $200. Work done right but cheap parts and charged unessesary labor. Will not go back. I will take this down if i get that labor back. $110 for belts install, $77 for thermostat intall, and $77 coolant flush.

I did advised several times that I was just selling the car and didnt need anything else done but what I had stated again several times. Nice talking guy but dosnt listen and over charges. Why would people go back if you over charge on the first job?

OC Automedics to the rescue once again! My Land Rover wouldn't start yesterday morning and I called the shop. He told me to bring it in and he would figure out the problem. I brought it in at lunch, had my starter moter replaced and back home by dinner. I have always had such a great experience here. Wonderful customer service, honest and reliable.

I have gone to a handful of other shops over the past few years (mostly due to relocating) only to deal with headaches and people trying to rip me off. I will always return to OC Automedics.

OC Auto Medics has extremely knowledgeable and experienced mechanics that operate with honesty and the highest level of integrity. The owner is a stand up guy that is more than fair with his pricing and is among the most knowledgeable mechanics I have encountered in years. If you need any servicing or repair on your vehicle, OC Auto Medics is the place to go!

Morey the manager was a good listener, very professional and knowledgeable. He helped us save money and did an additional repair at no charge. He explains step by step of what their mechanics will do. They are honest and efficient. I would highly recommend them. Service: Engine repair

I took my car to AutoMedics after another repair shop had replaced my timing belt and water pump resulted with coolant leak and engine valve noise. Morey the owner did a free diagnostic on my car and explained what needed to be redone and kept me in the loop with every step while the car was getting repaired there. He kept old parts that were replaced and handed them to me when I picked up the car which was very self assuring. They did a dealership kind of repair for me on my Audi with a very reasonable and honest upfront quote that is hardly find among mechanic shops these days.

Updating 4/26/20. Haze is an honest and reliable mechanic that works here. He has been there for 10 years and is great at what he does and is a great asset to the shop. He knows what he is doing and can be trusted. Please don't let the other reviews deter you from going here.

My front tires needed brakes and rotors. I called OC AutoMedics and the owner was friendly over the phone. I dropped off my car after lunch and I told the owner that I will pick up the car at 5pm, after I get off work. The owner called me at 3:50pm telling me that my car is ready and that they close at 5pm. I confirmed with him again that I will pick up the car at 5pm.

At 5:01 I was at the front door. I was SHOCKED to see that the shop was closed. I called the shop several times. No answer. I asked the store next to OC AutoMedics for the owner cell phone number. I called the owner and his response was it is "unfortunate" and that "I have to come tomorrow morning to pick up the car" and that he doesn't have the keys for the store.

I live ~30 miles away. I had to pay $55 for a rental car from Enterprise location next door. I respect the store hours but I mentioned two times that I will be there to pick up me car. They claimed that they called me which is untrue. I didn't had any missed calls from their number. The 1 Star is towards their terrible customer service. I will update the review later on based on the quality of their work.

I regretted now that I realized how dishonest these guys were. We brought in our car last year for a major repair and charged us for a lot of money. I called them again for another repair and comparing to the other shop where I brought our car it will cost me double of what I paid for. Considering we are returning customers you would think they will be reliable but they are not. I would recommend Mission Auto Center in Lake Forest. They were honest and reliable. Stay away from this shop!

Great experience here! Diagnosis on my AC in my Audi was super quick. Needed a new blower motor and resistor, and they ordered the parts and got em in overnight. Morey was super responsive on Yelp Messages. Good pricing vs other shops. Quick work. Will keep this shop in mind for future needs!

I came in here about a year ago and I have never encountered a more disrespectful and inconsiderate human being in my life. One of their mechanics named Steve cussed out me and my father calling my grandmother and mother vulgar names. I wrote a review after it happened but it must have been deleted and this is something that the public needs to know about.

I have full video of everything that happened and it is truly difficult to watch. If yelp allowed you to rate 0 stars I would. I am truly surprised this place is still in business. Please do anything you can to avoid taking your car here you will be truly disappointed.

DO NOT GO HERE! They don't even deserve one star. I went here and was charged a good amount of money to get my car fixed and right after my car was smoking, reeked of gas, and was broken down. I take it to my dealership and they say they had several bolts missing, wiring in wrong, stuff done incorrectly, and left a dead rat in my car. They basically sent me off in a death trap.

When I confront them and ask for a refund, so I can pay for my car at the dealership STEVE is the most unprofessional person I have ever met, making up lies and telling me he cannot give me the owners number then proceeds to hang up on me. I would recommend to NEVER go here ever.

I had an awesome experience at OC AutoMedics in RSM. I had a recent unexpected automotive issue while getting my vehicle smog tested. I was lucky to have the OC AutoMedics next door. Trina and the staff were fabulous in getting my vehicle repaired in a timely manner and the fee was reasonable. I would suggest you skip the dealer and consider supporting your local auto mechanics. Keep up the great work OC AutoMedics!

I love this shop and the people who run it! I bought a used car from Morey - he could not have been more honest, knowledgeable, or easier to work with! Best part is 6 months later the car is running perfectly. I was treated with respect from the moment I connected with Morey. Trina is an absolute delight! She is friendly, patient and very accommodating! I highly recommend OC AutoMedics and this my shop for car repairs - wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is my favorite place to go for my car troubles! I have a very old van that needs some TLC, Trina in the office is such a pleasure to deal with always smiling, quick to offer any help and very car knowledgeable for a woman. The mechanics go above and beyond to make sure and explain what work was done or may be needed in the future. Steve is the man! I highly recommend

I had the dealership quote me around $900 to repair a couple of the check engine codes in order the pass the smog check. I talked with Chris @ OC AutoMedics and he totally hooked me up. He tested the systems, figured out the correct parts, and at the end of the day I only paid $275! And I passed the smog test. Thanks guys, I totally appreciate your honesty and reasonable prices!

Please note this is an update to my original review in 2012. After coming here for multiple repairs now, some large and some small I now have this to say about Automedics. I am no longer a fan and will not be returning here. My last ordeal with Automedics went as follows: I bring my car in the get my clutch replaced (clutch kit provided by me). A part was missing (slave cylinder) so they asked me if they could order it and use it in replacing the clutch.

I obliged because I thought it was necessary to have to car running well. Come to find out the clutch kit does not fit, and I have to order another one. Fine I think, this is the retailer who sold me the clutch kits' fault and not theirs. I get the new clutch kit, and turns out this one has a slave cylinder included so they use this new one when fixing the clutch. Awesome, so my car is ready to drive (or so I thought).

I get the bill and have relatively no complaints except for one thing. They charged me for the new slave cylinder that they had originally ordered, saying that I had to pay for it because "they can't return it to the warehouse". I definitely did NOT know that it was possible to be stuck with the part if it didn't end up being used. This means i'm stuck with a new $150 part that I don't need, and will have to find a way to sell.

In addition, after replacing the clutch my wheel alignment was so off I could barely drive back to my house (Less than 2 miles away) without the traction control notification going off and a strange sound whirring from the engine. So this put me another $90 in the hole to get my car re-aligned. To top it off, I now have an unknown leak that I didn't have prior to this replacement.

I park on a driveway that shows any sign of leaky auto fluids, and there are now spots coming from the front right of the engine close to the battery. Well done Automedics, you just lost yourselves a long time customer.
