Carlos solved a problem that no other car expert could! I've had my car for 2 years and since the very beginning I had a feeling something wasn't right with the brake when I turned the car on. After I had the car for 3 months, it wouldn't start one morning and I had to call AAA who jumped the battery.the car seemed fine for a few months and then it would happen again- I'd find my car dead when returning to the BART station after a long day at work, and once again I had to call AAA for a jump.

This went on every other month or so for 2 years. Everyone I took it to said there was nothing wrong. The Nissan mechanic even said I only needed a new battery in my fob to solve the problem! Finally I found auto electric & fuel, and Carlos solved the problem (it was as I thought, an electrical problem with something attached to the brake).it feels totally different now when I turn the car on. Wow, this place is so great! Michelle and Carlos make a great team and they really care about their work and their customers. I had alternator issues and they took care of it when no one else would. They made sure the car drove well before they returned it, and they also vacuumed it. I thought that was very kind. :) They also do oil changes. :) Would definitely recommend.

Michelle and Carlos at Auto Electric and Fuel were amazing! My A/C died on me at the start of this very hot summer we have been having. After talking to a few shops, I was recommended to Auto Electric and Fuel. They accommodated my schedule, they were delightful to talk to, gave me plenty of information and let me know everything well in advance. They fixed my issue the same day I dropped it off for the diagnostic (since we weren't sure exactly where the problem was).

Car repairs are always expensive, but this shop was fair in their pricing and very up front about everything. I would go back here in a heartbeat if something else on the 'ole Mazda decides to fail.

My friend was referred to this shop buy his mechanic. The experience was great and really professional. Michelle who works in the office was very good at keeping my friend up-to-date on the extensive work being done on his car. Carlos who owns the shop and I believe completed the repairs was extremely knowledgeable and thorough. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a reputable shop to service their cars.

Oil changed went smoothly and also got free diagnostic on vehicle. Honesty is my biggest thing. The service was on point and very informative! The lady Michelle ( I think that was her name) at the front desk was super nice and helpful. I came in around 1:15 pm and told her my tail light wasn't going on and I tried replacing the bulb already. To my surprise, she took me in right away. She explained every detail about what needed to be done and even showed me 2 other bulbs that weren't working.

I waited inside and was offered coffee, water, or soda but I said " no thank you". I liked how at the end she gave me a print out of everything and was very personable and understanding. I feel like customer service is very important and she nailed it. I'll definitely be back if I ever have anymore car issues. And the best part, I can now drive at night with peace of mind and I'll be able to see better when backing up.

My car broke down and left me stranded, my electrical system turned off all of the sudden. I called Carlos at Auto Electric and he allowed me to tow my car in with out an appointment which I am thankful for. Him and his crew diagnosed and fixed my vehicle and made it run better. I had a fantastic experience with Carlos, he is conscientious and a passionate repair technician.

If would give 10 starts if I could. Great people and an outstanding service, I would recommend this business but be aware this is probably the most expensive shop in California.

Carlo's runs a great shop. He's done my oil changes for a while now. Just did my breaks. Quick service and always professional. I've recommended several on my customers to his shop. We got A+++ service from Auto Electric and Fuel. My check engine light was on in my Expedition. We changed out the O2 sensor and that cleared the light temporarily, but it came back on and now came up with a code that could mean any one or more of 6 things could be wrong with it. Now it was time for the professionals. I was referred to this company by another mechanic.

I was so grateful for Michelle's sweet voice and the fact that she told me to bring the car down and they would get it taken care of. They were able to diagnose the car pretty quickly and ordered the parts and I was able to pick up the car the next day. I needed to get it smogged and Michelle took it and had it done for me. If this wasn't enough she vacuumed out my car and wiped the interior down.

My husband picked up the car. Carlos gave him a very clear explanation of all of the repairs and what he did. They have a big sign posted in there place that says "we aren't the cheapest, but we are the best". I would fully agree with that sign and was happy to pay a little bit more for the great service that we received. We wouldn't hesitate to go back again.

If you value honesty in a mechanic and a repair shop, AEF is the place for you. Carlos has worked on two of my cars over the past year and in both cases, the repair work was done in a very honest and professional manner. Due to my automotive repair shortcomings, these are the two qualities I value most. The recent add of Michelle in the office is a great compliment. She is nice, friendly and professional as well.

This auto shop is IMPRESSIVE!! Our family trusts Carlos with our cars because he has taken such good care of Lois, our '65 Mustang GT. Carlos is the "car whisperer" He runs tests, finds out the issue that the car is having, and fixes them. It's as simple as that. you know when you take your car to a shop that has good reviews? But they fail to deliver??

You won't get that at this shop. Carlos gets to the root of the problem and fixes what needs to be done. If their are other underlying issues that you aren't aware of then Carlos will tell you and fix those as well. Is Carlos cheap? by all means no, but if you want quality work and your car to be fixed then price shouldn't matter. Cars should be safe and reliable and taken care of. Carlos also treats your car like it is his own, our family appreciates that about him. Carlos is excellent with communication...

If you have any questions he answers them, he is really thorough and honest. Our Lois hasn't been this happy or fun to drive in a long time!! Thanks to Carlos I've been taking her out a few times a week. I am just over the moon with his work.

I had a check engine light on for over 3 months and I had exhausted all possibilities I took it to over three different shops without any end to this problem in sight, I finally broke down and took it into Carlos and he said it would be $390 just for the diagnosis!?! Needless to say I wasn't happy to hear this since I have already fixed the problems that the code was telling me.

I took a moment to decide but since this car is my pride and joy (black 350Z 2008 nismo edition) I had no choice but to find what the actual problem was. To make a long story a bit shorter let's just say it was a wise investment in Carlos and his team! They found a few problems that other mechanics were unable or unwilling to find, fist of all the back O2 sensors needed replacing (as i thought would be ther case) as well as both catalytic converters, as well as a lot of other small wiring and other problems that were causing the car to not run or communicate properly.

This was not a cheap or quick fix but Carlos made me feel at ease by explaining exactly where the problem lies and what the solution to that problem is, and this could not be done by the 3 other best mechanics that I've been doing business with. I can't recommend this shop enuf, for big or small problems talk to Carlos first before you waste your money at another shop!

I brought my vehicle to this shop because every two weeks the headlight fuse would blow, this was driving me insane and after an extensive diagnosis Carlos and his crew were able to find the problem and fix it. And now I can drive my car at night without having to worry about not having headlights. I have to say that this shop is not inexpensive in any way.

We have a reliable mechanic we have been going to for years, but he doesn't offer smog services. I found this business on yelp. I spoke to Hans on the phone and made an appointment. He was very polite and professional. My husband is the one who took the car in. I asked him what he thought and his response was that Hans was very polite and professional. He also said that the service was very punctual. We will be going back next year if we need another smog check.
