I have taken my 2012 F-150 to The Auto Doc 3 times for various repair items in the last few months and each time, Chris and his team take great care of me and the truck runs like it is brand new. I've been to a dozen different auto repair shops but this one is far and away the best one. If you want highly competent people working on your car, who charge fair prices - this is your spot.

Fixed my issue in a day. (Windshield Wiper pump motor out) Reasonable price for the work they did. I'll go back again for future service. Very friendly and professional. Down the street from where I am at. I recommend for any auto/truck work. I liked how they call you with updates of issues found and keep you in the loop. Good communication. Great job Auto Doc.

I came here with my 2016 Dodge Charger for a diagnostic. I'm nearing 100k and want to do the proper upkeep. I set an appointment for the morning of 3/29/22. Diagnosis doesn't take long. Of course it's a plethora of things wrong, I'm expecting this (like I said I'm nearing 100k). I'm straight forward with Chris about what I want to do and how much I can pay. 1) Fuel Detection Pump(check engine light) 2) Front Break System 3) Replace Engine Mount These are the three things we agree upon for the price of $1400.

The turn around is 1 day. I get my car back the evening of 3/30/22 and things seem fine. No! Once I left Auto Doc my tire sensor comes on. I think that's odd because this is something they should've done. Whatever, I go put air in the tires. Next morning 3/31/22 my check engine light is on. I'm like isn't this what I paid to get fixed So I go to AutoZone plug it up to their little machine, take the results to Chris and ask him to get back with me.

He hasn't gotten back with me 4/9/22 I notice my car is knocking while driving. Terrible sound, I feel it in the gas pedal, if I accelerate it gets louder and more obnoxious. I am currently at a different mechanic and according to him the good guys over at Auto Doc left my tire lug nuts loose. How incompetent could you all be! The negligence and lack of accountability is truly SCARY! My tire could've literally came off my car while I was driving!

I've been to this place two or three times now, and Chris is always super friendly and does an amazing job explaining what they plan on doing to your vehicle. It's always great to have that kind of patience when you don't know everything about cars! Always recommend this place to anyone in the area that needs anything. Service: General repairs & maintenance

Auto Doc was a huge help when I started having an issue with my vehicle. I had it towed there one afternoon and I was back on the road in 24 hours. Chris was great at keeping me updated as well. I'll be returning for any future work. Services: Electrical repair, Auto engine diagnostic

Great first time at Auto Doc with my 2008 Lexus L460. I had a complete maintenance inspection and oil change. Mr. Chris went over my car's analysis and recommendation's that works with my budget. I will be seeing Auto Doc soon to get started on my todo list.

I was under the impression this had already been posted, but recently I found it had not and I believe it's very important to share my experience with this mechanic shop - I took my 18 year old car to Auto Doc sometime in the second half of 2019 and below is a full account of my terrible experience. I have no doubt the fact that I am female and am always mistaken for being 10-15 years younger than I really am played a huge role in what happened to me and my vehicle while in the care of Auto Doc.

From 2019: I took my car in to Auto Doc for an oil change and a realignment two months ago. They call me up saying there were all sorts of things wrong with my car. They said I had a massive oil leak, however, I check my oil levels monthly and I always leave white cardboard boxes under my older car to see if any fluids are leaking. No fluids of any kind had been present on the cardboard and my oil levels had been normal every time I had checked.

After service there though I suddenly had a massive oil leak with a large puddle of oil all over the floor the next morning. They had asked me why I "thought" I needed a realignment and I responded that my friend who is a professional mechanic (of 17 years) for NASCAR replaced some wheel bearings and also did some other front wheel work for me, however, he didn't have the proper tool for a car of my size to do the realignment himself.

They said that wasn't the issue and that I needed $1,000 worth of steering wheel work. Within 24 hours of picking up my car from them, my multifunction switch (signal, wipers, brights, etc) completely pulls out from my steering wheel. They said I needed new coolant housing, however, that had already been replaced two years prior and again, no coolant fluids present had been present on the cardboard.

They told me my tires were almost bald and my break pads had less than 10% left on them, yet my tires had passed inspection the day before and my break pad measuring tool said I had 40% left. They quoted me all sorts of other "necessary repairs" that totaled several thousand dollars. In addition to the oil leak and the multifunction switch, when I picked up my car and drove to a nearby bank, suddenly my car filled with the strong odor of gas and the check engine light came on.

I asked my neighbors for recommendations and each of them responded with "Definitely don't take your car to AutoDoc. They're scam artists".funny you say that! They all suggested a nearby mechanic shop. The other mechanic shop took a look at my car and said there was a puncture in one of the hoses that goes from my gas tank to the engine and the EMF sensor was loose.

They said the oil filter hadn't been properly installed and Auto Doc had over filled my oil tank. Auto Doc had also claimed that my rear-differential was cracked and needed to be replaced. Turns out all it needed was a fluids flush. The new mechanic shop confirmed that other than the now broken multi-function switch, indeed all I needed was a realignment and pretty much everything else they claimed was broken, was totally fine.

They did say the puncture and the sensor could have been from old age, but we all agreed that it was very suspect, considering. Current: It's been over 2.5 years since this all happened and again, everything Auto Doc claimed was wrong with my car and in need of immediate attention is still in good working order today. Still no steering wheel issues (now that the multi-function switch has been replaced), no oil leak, no rear-differential issues, and I drove another year on my tires before needing to replace them and I went another 2 years before needing to replace my break pads. All I can say is, buyer beware. Definitely get a second opinion!

I've taken my GTI here for all service since I got it in 2013 and have never had anything but positive experiences with Dave and Chris! Bedsides all the regular maintenance, they've diagnosed and repaired some electrical and ignition coil issues that have come up over the years, always with prompt, thorough and straightforward advice. Recently, I had a coolant line burst and I had to have my car towed to the shop on a Sunday afternoon when they were closed, they had it fixed and back to me on Monday. Outstanding customer service and I recommend them to all of my friends!

I live in Georgia and my daughter just recently moved to the Houston Area. Her car started acting up and as a father my biggest fear is we take it to a place and she gets ripped off. The Auto Doc was right down the road from her house, so she took it there. She worked with Chris and we could have not had a better experience, not only did he constantly stay in contact with her, but he kept the worried father(me) informed also. She will definitely use them for all of her future automotive needs.
