I'm not from the area and my car started acting up while passing through. They got me in on an emergency basis, diagnosed and repaired my car requiring them to stay an hour and a half later than the posted shop hours. Tony rescued me from a tight situation because of his know-how, dedication to customer service, and kindness. Though I hope to not need their service in the future, I 1000% recommend using them. I am extremely grateful for what they did for me.

Recommending Auto Authority is easy once you get the vehicle inspection done once. After that, you will stay a customer. I didn't realize the amount of detail and knowledge the team has, then proves it with images that get sent out via email. choosing a mechanic is tough, because everyone 'has a guy'. Detail, trust and proving why they are doing the work via the inspection report and talking pro's/con's of service, is why I continue.

I took my car here based on the recommendation of a co-worker. I've lived in Crystal Lake for over 20 years, and I'm upset I haven't gone here sooner! Tony was straight forward and transparent regarding what my car needed (and didn't). He was very detailed in his explanation and translated the technical jargon. It's very apparent he cares about his customers, offering program rewards for consistent car care. I'll be back when needed and will recommend anyone :)

Tony is amazing to work with. I have been a customer for over 15 years and have never had a problem. Tony and his staff work for me to keep my 2001 vehicle on the road and safe. I have never fail an emissions test. Still going strong at 189,000 miles (yes, 189,000). Tony is absolutely amazing! I'm so glad someone referred us to him! I purchased a new to me vehicle, he checked it out, told me everything I needed to have done and the company I purchased from and him collaborated to make my vehicle a great reliable one! I called Tony and Auto Authority on a recommendation for a problem with an older BMW. Tony was easy to talk to treated me very professionally and kindly explained options. I was concerned about costs because a previous shop where I had the car quoted a really high repair cost. I did my research, and they had an absolutely fair price for the work I needed.
The repairs were completed on the timeline Tony laid out at the start and they also completed additional items I requested timely. I've had no issues so far, and Tony even called a week later to ensure all was good with the car. I plan to continue going to them for all my needs.

Tony and his team are excellent! Tony truly has a passion for his work! His work ethic and genuine concern for your vehicle and your safety is unmatched. Love their digital inspection report as well. It includes pictures and description of area of concern; along with upcoming needs or maintenance suggestions. I have been taking my 2005 Tahoe to him for years and will continue to do so.
