My car was broken into and the side window was completely smashed. Had to buy some cardboard and duct tape as a bandaid until I could get it fixed. I called around, but ultimately Embarcadero Automotive got me in the next day. It's convenient that you can pay over the phone or online. All I had to do was show up with the car and let the technicians do their magic. Highly recommended

I took my daughters car, she bumped in to some ones car and damaged the front hood etc. so when I arrived at the shop Allal the owner make me feel very welcome and gave me excellent service he even took my car and parked for me, also another gentleman men in office I think his name is Hassan so helpful he explained the whole process and guide me through all the details, I felt so comfortable by choosing that shop, reliable professional and strait-forward, if your looking for an honest professional Mecanic and for good prices that's the place garantie.

Normally never leave reviews but thought I'd leave one for these guys. Super friendly team. Had to come in to change my battery. Hasan gave me a timely and fair quote and told me when I could come get my car. Was able to get it same day. When I got there they had even washed my car for me! Really awesome service and would highly recommend.

Ali, Hassan and Mauricio went way above and beyond to fit me in due to travel issues including staying open late on a Friday. They were very communicative through the process which is helpful. In the end, they gave me an extremely fair price for the repairs and labor so I would go back in a moment for any other car needs. They have a strong depth of knowledge for cars which I appreciate. Finally, they truly care about customers and making sure they run a great small business.

The owner always makes sure your car is washed before being sent out and does it himself most times. This is what you hope for in a repair shop! I highly recommend trying them if you need a new repair shop for your imports!

I highly recommend this shop. I had my BMW diagnosed at the dealer and the dealer and quoted me over $3500 to replace fuel injectors and spark plugs. Embarcadero automotive did all that plus an oil change and replaced an oxygen sensor for less than half the price. Car was ready the next day and they even delivered it to my house. Just Wow!

Brought the car for a checkup before a long trip to the Midwest and to my surprise the car needed a lot more work than anticipated. Thankfully, The guys here managed to get ready for me in no time. Ali and Hassan exceeded my expectations. My Prius was stolen and after it was recovered the check engine light was on with other issues. I had the car towed to Toyota on Geary and the service member read the scan and stated that the check engine light was on due to the water pump and that is a "wear and tear" issue so my insurance denied the claim. (The insurance did cover things that were related to the theft).

Fast forward, I picked up the car brought it to Embarcadero Automotive, after several calls, and with Ali's help My insurance finally agreed to pay for not one but BOTH water pumps. Thank you Ali and Hassan for your hard work and fighting for your clients!

Embarcadero Automotive are always fast, reliable, fair priced, knowledgeable, and they always do the repairs I need done correctly! Which in itself is fantastic! Here's what makes Embarcadero Automotive my favorite auto shop - - Clear, fully transparent communication, using text messages that carefully explain the issue, with pictures that show the issues in detail where possible. No need to worry about missing phone calls or misunderstanding the problem. - Fair, reasonable price. I've seen hourly labor rates that are 2x what they charge. - Accurate quote for repair.

No surprises. - Free car wash that includes a vacuumed interior. - They treat your car like it's their baby, keeping it safely inside until the time of pickup and then carefully guiding you out onto the road. I would have never discovered them had I not accidentally pulled into their garage instead of VAS Motor Works right next door. While I think VAS does a good job, I found Embarcadero Automotive to be 32% cheaper for the exact same issue (which in my case was replacing burned components that had disabled my tail lights - EA had fixed my left tail light roughly 3 months apart from VAS fixing my right tail light).

These guys treat you like family. I've been coming for years. One time I couldn' t get a rental car and Ali let me borrow his wife's car for the weekend. What other mechanic would do that?!

I'm glad I went to Embarcadero Automotive repair before I read any reviews! They did a great work on my Cadillac. I went to a different shop and they said they couldn't do do job I have to go to the dealer (dealers cost away too much ) I called and there was Hassan he was friendly and professional and honest I'm not sure all mechanics are, I told him the problems I was having and the work I needed done, so he called Ali the mechanic and the owner of the shop to confirm that they could do job since i had a lot work to be done the guy was super nice he even offered me a discount and fix my tier for no charge and the best part he washes my car.

After the repair my car my car feels super smooth. I recommend this shop to all who need an honest and good mechanic that will do the work for reasonable price. Thank you Al, see you again,

I highly recommend them if you need your car serviced. I took my VW Passat for an oil change the first time and had a full professional service. They went over the edge and replaced my filters and cleaned my car in and out. My second time was for brake replacements and they made sure I got the best in the market. Very knowledgeable about lots of car makes.

They let you know before hand what would work best for your particular car so you're helping your car in the long run. Fair prices and so far one of the best auto repair shops in San Francisco.

Auto Analysis is the only place we will take our cars. German has kept excellent care of our cars since 2005. He does great work and his prices are very fair. If you need anything from a oil change to a new transmission German will get it done on time and with outstanding results. I highly recommend Auto Analysis for all of your cars service and repairs!

German ("Herman") will go above and beyond for your automotive needs. He was able to help me out when I needed work done to my car and was very accommodating for my time. The shop is very clean and well kept, a clear sign that the team who work there are organized and take care of their tools, which ultimately is a reflection of how they will perform their service.

I came here again recently to get some tires changed and was able to get it done quickly during my lunch break. Amazing! His prices are very competitive and cares about his customers. He took care of my Honda S2000 and I'll be coming back for more work in the future.

DO NOT BRING YOUR SAAB OR ANY OTHER CAR TO THIS REPAIR SHOP. MICHAEL LAND IS NO LONGER HERE.he retired. THE CURRENT OWNER BELIEVES THAT MICHAEL's SON 'knew nothing about cars' and let him go. THE PARTICULARS OF MY STORY include: I picked up my car with the one of the front tires unsecured, in place, 1/2 of 1 bolt in the wheel. The repair guy tells the owner, over the phone, some ultra ridiculous BS about 'being pushed' to finish the job.

After an estimate to solve an odd sound in the front right end (Mike hacked me $160 for that forensic service!). I leave the shop, after(OMG!) they secure the tire to hear the same noise ($470). I return to report the issue to find the shop manager being brow beaten by a person in a 440 BMW who was not too happy about something they shop had, he claimed, no business touching.

The owner himself shuffles me along refusing to refund half of the cash payment. 'come back Monday, I make you happy'. The repair. replace a bracket to secure the air filter housing and replace the crankshaft oil seal (hidden behind the filter housing). While doing this I get a call mining me to replace timing chain cover which requires moving a cylinder head.

I hate SAABS. Unfortunately, there are few places to take them. When Michael Land held the helm we could trust our cars were getting what they needed. DO NOT BRING YOUR SAAB to this location. I want to add that I have demanded my money back for the repairs that WERE NOT completed on 9/14. I have had the vehicle examined and there is NOT any evident proof that the replacements were made. I will let you all know if and when I receive my $ I want to make it known that I received a refund promptly after an agreement
