They diagnosed why my truck wouldn't start. Replaced battery cables and fuel pump to make it run. Gave me a place to get smog test. Very reliable and always told me what was up and how to fix it.

Autoaid has been taking care of our cars for over 10 years now. From some much beloved 200,000 miles Honda, to some more exotic and newer cars, they always came through. Rapid quality workmanship and at very fair price. They are our whole fasmily and friends one-stop car repair.

Update: I had my first service. This company is reputable. As previously stated, The staff is extremely friendly and gracious. I am grateful that I found this place. I've had horrific experiences in the past with mechanics/auto shops. I feel confident and comfortable with Auto Aid. Came in to do a smog inspection as I was from out of state and was in the middle of registering vehicle at DMV across the street. Staff was very friendly and professional. They seem like a very reputable company and I believe I found my mechanic in California.

Can I give ten stars? I would if I could! David and Max took great care of us on our last visit to AutoAid. Here's something that almost NEVER happens, the actual price turned out to be almost $1000 LESS than the estimate. What a great phone call it is to receive when a shop tells you that the repair is much easier and less expensive than they initially thought. The work was completed in one day and the car drives well. Trust AutoAid. They're great people doing great work.

I've heard nothing but good things about these guys, and the time was here finally to give them a try for myself. Well it was even better then I imagined! This was one of my best experience ever at a mechanic. Usually you go and at the mercy of what they tell you. David one of the owners was so helpful, and I received the most thorough report on my car ever! I found someone who I trust which some times is hard now a days! My experience at AutoAid was great. It was easy and painless throughout the whole process. They were super helpful in explaining everything and took the time to get things right. I only paid for the final work that was done on my car to fix the problem. I've taken my car to AutoAid twice already and have loved both experiences. Cannot recommend more!

Auto Aid is absolutely superior! I came here after I had a terrible experience with my local dealership service and Auto Aid took better care of me than the actual dealership that sold me my car. Everyone on the staff is insanely friendly and you can tell they're really good, positive people. It's so easy for women to be taken advantage of in the car space and I can say that I 100% trust Auto Aid to always be honest and never try to falsely upsell me. I've had my car serviced here twice so far and I plan to continue coming here as long as I stay on the area. I've never had to use their waiting area but its important to note that it's always very clean and well taken care of.

Most mom-and-pop car service centers have dingy waiting rooms that are super uncomfortable to hangout in. Auto Aid really takes care of that area and that shows that they invest in a good customer experience, which is something I really appreciate- even though I don't typically use those spaces. Overall, I have been really happy with my experience here and highly recommend giving them a try!

Excellent service and reasonably priced, the dealer probably would have charged me 3-4 times for the same service for my Audi. The staff is super friendly and professional and the lobby is very welcoming. I love that it's pet friendly, too- brought my doodle with me to pickup the car and she was offered doggie cookies. The staff explained everything that was included in the service and will send you a text once it's completed with the details. Highly recommend!

AutoAid is my go-to for all things related to service of my cars (current and past). They are efficient, and provide excellent service to vehicles and also people. I greatly appreciate the ride home while my car is being serviced, and the ride back when done. Their office environment is welcoming to someone wanting a cup of coffee, to little kids, and to pets. It feels like family -- which it also happens to be, with several family members running the business.

I found Auto Aid after my car dealership's service department quoted me an $8,000 repair. My Subaru had a busted hose, which the dealership repaired, followed by the $8,000 repair quote and a recommendation that the engine be removed and taken apart because of coolant and oil mixing. My car has only 70,000 miles on it and runs fine. A second opinion was definitely warranted.

Auto Aid was great. Dave was polite on the phone, stayed within the time promised for a detailed diagnostic, gave my car two test drives after the diagnostic, and explained what he thought the issue might be. The cost of the diagnostic was reasonable. As it stands, he did not see anything that warranted a serious repair or engine work. Just so I would know, he also ran a quote of exactly the repair that the dealership recommended: $4,200 as opposed to $8,000. However, Dave did not see anything indicating such a repair was needed.

I took my other Subaru to Auto Aid for rear brakes ($100 less than the dealership) and an oil change. Great service, fair prices, nice people, rides given for local customers, and a cute waiting room with free wifi. I've found my new mechanic.

I stopped in to AutoAid and was greeted right away. I brought in my old Lincoln for repairs for my big move back to the Midwest. They got everything done that I knew was wrong with it and made my car safe to drive again. The people are super friendly and get everything done in a timely manner. AutoAid is very thorough and will be honest with you once they inspect your car. I highly recommend going here for any repairs on your car!

Your response is poor. You mention that a car battery should be replaced when its 6 years old. A lot depends on battery life such as how much you drive, living in area that is cold in winter. You mentioned that you wouldn't want me to get stranded because of a dead battery--well my Nissan Rogue battery has plenty of life in it and is very strong at this time and does not need to be replaced.

Not to worry, I have AAA service. I received the email that was supposed to contain my courtesy inspection but was unable to open the attachment. Correctly I should have been given the courtesy inspection at the time I came to pick up my car, along with copy of the alignment. Looks like maybe you hope that the client will not ask for these reports--Inspection or Alignment.

I should not have had to call Auto Aid to request these reports. As for the tires, Mac showed me the cracks on the outer side of the tires. On Thur 11/4 I went to a tire store on Sepulveda Blvd and bought 4 new Uniroyal Tiger Paws with 75,000 mi warranty out the door for $600. Your creditability at the moment is at zero percent. There is obviously a need for you to take Mechanic School 101 over again.

You could also use a class big time in Customer Service and learn how to talk to customers and not try to snow them on needing unnecessary parts or work. A customer at your shop will have to beware and hopefully be knowledgeable on car repairs or be at risk of being taken by someone such as you. You brag about doing a thorough courtesy inspection, yet you did not fill up my windshield wiper fluid plus my antifreeze level was low. Such poor quality service!

This is the only place I'll ever go to get work done on my car, and I always recommend it to friends. Everyone here is nice, communicative, and they do great, fair work. They walk you through what needs to be done (when I had to save money they helped me carefully prioritize which repairs were needed right away, and which could wait a little longer which I really appreciated.) Been going here for close to 7 years now! They're kind and they do great work. Can't ask for anything more.

I had them do some fluid exchanges on my car. I sent them an email throughtheir website, but they responded back with a phone call. Everything went seamlessly and they completed my car the same day. Everyone was so nice, professional, friendly and attentive. The driver that drove me home while my car was being worked on was just as friendly and fun to talk to. Their rates are very competitive. As a woman, I feel very comfortable in going to them again for any future repairs and maintenance.

Quality Service and a reasonable price. My repair was completed in a very timely manner and the mechanic working on my car took the time to explain precisely what he did to discover the issue and how he resolved it.

Came in a little after 8AM on a Monday without an appointment for an oil change & general diagnostic. I acknowledged nobody likes to be put in that spot and my only requirement was I needed it back by 2 to pick my kid up from school. I received a text with photos from the diagnostic & a phone call around 1 when the car was ready for pick-up. They walked me through their findings without any pressure to follow up their recommendations immediately or even at their shop.

They not only remembered that I needed it back ASAP - they remembered WHY I needed it back. It was a small but impressive detail, especially for a first time walk in customer, which is why I will go back to them to get the rest of that work done. Plus their sign said "The Mensch with the Wrench" - I love it!

This place is awesome! Everyone is super nice and professional. I don't ever have time for reviews, but these guys more than deserve it. I came in and told the clerk I was moving to TX later that week, wanted to know if my car was good for the trip (If you're in sales, you just heard "I have 0 return potential regardless of your service quality today. Make as much off me as you can, then get me out the door").

They treated me like family, had answers for all my dumb questions, drove me home to wait for my COURTESY inspection (100% could've charged for diagnostics, I asked for a full check). Within an hour, they texted me any concerns w/ pics for context, and told me I forgot my wallet (which had oh idk ~$500 in loose bills?), and my passport on the back seat floor. Told me what was necessary to fix for the trip, and what I could put off (again, fully aware they wouldn't get any business they didn't take that day).

After I confirmed everything, they fixed it all in a couple hours. From hello, to driving off the lot, all in one afternoon. I'm not exaggerating. I've maybe wrote 1 other review for a business my entire life (I'm 30). I support people who do their job because they care about it, not because it makes them money. I believe that's what I saw that day. Only my luck that i found this place THE WEEK I MOVED TO TX. Thanks for getting me here safe gentlemen.

Least expensive quality replacement of car glass in the valley. I have and aftermarket warranty from the dealership on a used car--I hated my dealership's shop and service. I found out that you don't have to service your car at the dealership and have never gone back. (David will look at your warranty and make sure that your warranty will cover their work.) AutoAid takes care of their customers.

They will never overcharge or do unnecessary work. The last three oil changes they they told my my air filter was a little dirty and would need to change it soon. On the fourth oil change they said it was time to change it. A lot of places would just seek to change it the first time it was dirty to increase the bill. They are family owned and run and give excellent professional service. I feel lucky to have found and trustworthy, affordable mechanic. I don't live in the valley anymore but I drive 30 minutes to go to somebody I trust.

I am so grateful to the kind, professional and helpful team at AutoAid. David and his team checked out my car at last minute's notice and the service was affordable and fairly priced. They went above and beyond when Miguel and Max drove me to and from the office so I could make all of my appointments and still get my car fixed. I'll definitely be back for anything else when I'm in Van Nuys! Thank you, AutoAid.

Absolutely wonderful shop. I've followed them from their old location. Their service is top notch. I had to post a review after my last visit. I had purchased tires and had them installed. Less than a month later, after loading the entire family in the car, I backed out and started to drive when I found I had a nail with wood in the end stuck in my tire. I called Auto Aid and Dave got me a new tire installed in less than an hour and a half. I recommend this place to anyone who wants amazing service and wonderful staff.

I went there to have my car oil changed. Jack the owner was kind enough to give me a ride to my work so I didn't have to wait there and waste my time. He picked me up again in the afternoon after the oil was changed and I received a thorough inspection check list. I am totally happy with the excellent service I was provided with.
