I called this place to get a quote for a chrome delete package on my new Expedition, and was told nonchalantly we don't do/have Expedition chrome deletes. Their website literally states 'any vehicle'. Quotes directly from their site state, "Chrome Delete provides sleek customization for any vehicle." "You can even opt for a custom color, hand-painted delete for the ultimate custom look." It would help if they can update their website and just specify 'which' car makes/models they can put chrome delete vinyl on and/or paint to avoid that surprising response "sorry we don't work on Expeditions".

It's not so much that they couldn't do the service, it was the way the lady answered the phone not really interested on it. Shame because it was not the only service I was looking to get there.

Brian Daly and his team are no stranger to any Tesla owner in the Central Texas area, love his energy and the team's quality of work. I've gotten Wheels, Tint, Paint repair and Wash accessories so far and they did a great job. Special shout-out to Jake for his friendliness and knowledge on the car and work. That being said, their sales process and follow up can be improved a little more as I have gotten some surprising responses when discussing the price.

I've had 4 Teslas get worked on by Austin Detailing. Ranging from PPF, window tint, ceramic coating, powder coat wheels, vinyl wrap, paint repair and paint less dent removal PDR. Without a doubt a one stop shop and I keep going back. My first Tesla I used another known shop in town but I found contaminants under the PPF and bubbles. With Brian and team I got my issues worked out and I knew I was set.

That was years ago. Fast forward today. Brian knocked it out of the park with my latest Tesla. Refreshed Model S in matte PPF came out stellar. Ceramic tint on all windows and ceramic coated everything. I'm already bugging them about PPF for my BMW i4 M50 that comes in soon!

Another happy customer of Austin Detailing. Brian Daly was able to schedule an appointment for tint job on my M3 the same day I reached out to him. Brian, Jake & their team did a fabulous job with my tint. Fast, friendly service and best prices for the quality of work. Worth every penny and I can't recommend enough. Oh, they even cleaned my car for free and it looked as new as I got 2 years ago, if not better. P.S. If any one's wondering, I got 30% VLT tint across all sides & full rear windows.

I tried to have PPF applied to my Tesla Model Y at Austin Detailing, but he ended up talking me into a PPF that was too thick. I wasn't told that it would have relief cuts, and he would have to do the rear in 2 pieces. I had previously had another Tesla done at a shop up in Pflugerville that was more expensive and took much longer to get PPF applied, however, they did a much better job. - No visible relief cuts and you can tell they took more time to do the job right.

When I told the owner that I didn't like the job, it seemed like something snapped, and I was told that they would take it off, but if they damaged the paint, it was on me, not him. He wouldn't let me swap it out for something different --- it was somehow my fault for not liking the quality of the job they did. There are better places out there - don't be fooled by the horde of FB followers or positive reviews.

The team at Austin Detailing was awesome my truck ended up looking great. Only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because while at their location my truck was door dinged it was minor. Huge shout out to them for getting it fixed. But it still happened I would highly recommend this team.

I was told to come in for an estimate for paint correction and that it should only take 5 minutes. Once I was there, Jake talked with me about the work I wanted done and eventually I was asked for my contact info. He said that he would work up and send me an estimate. What happened to the 5 minutes? Before leaving I asked if it would be for paint correction and full detail.

Apparently they don't do interior detailing because its too time consuming. I thought I was at Austin "Detailing"?! I had a feeling they were blowing smoke when I was leaving and that has been confirmed. Two days have gone by and I haven't seen an estimate or even received a call. Very unprofessional. I'd rather them be straight and just tell me they don't want to do the work.

I was told their bread and butter was Tesla and I could see that from their lot as well as their business site reviews. Seems like a change in business name would save a lot of time for us both.

They squeezed me in the same week I requested a estimate. Prices were better than most other estimates I received. And they had what I wanted done with in like probably 30min to an hour. Definitely going to be taking some other cars to them. And can't wait to see the results.

I've taken both of my cars here. One for a full car ceramic coating and tint. One for a full car matte wrap ppf, ceramic and tint. Without hesitation I'd come back and do each of my cars again 100%. Brian is awesome. He's super chill but he really knows his stuff and he listens to what you want. No pushy selling, no bs, just aligning your needs to what they can do.

They had a line out the door of hail damaged Teslas and still they were able to do a big, complex job for me flawlessly in a totally reasonable timeframe (2 hours earlier available to pickup too!) The crew here is also fast and professional and nice. Check out their Instagram to see the work and the cars that come through. It's not just Tesla (but boy do they know Tesla). BMW, Mercedes, vintage stuff, super cars, defenders all kinds of legit cars here. Imo that's how you know.

When there are $250k+ cars there. They're good. I love this shop and it's 100% where I'm bringing my cars for special detail work, wraps and coatings. They are simply the best in Austin.

His team took a week to educate me, provide me options, adapt to poor quality wrap kits & seat covers I provided, and made sure the end result is beautiful/within my budget. I drove there straight from delivery and was happy with it after picking it up! Perfection!

Definitely bring your car to Austin Detailing. They were very helpful in explaining what I should do to protect my Tesla. I'm very pleased with the work and will definitely turn to Brian and his professional team for all my car needs. They know what they doing and its done right. Thanks again for getting my car right. I love it. Services: Window tinting, Auto detailing

By far one of the best experiences I've had at a car detailing place. Mr Brian Daly was by far the most awesome person I met and knows his Tesla stuff. They (the Tesla dealership down the street) even recommended me to them when I first got my Tesla model Y. I wish I would've gotten the ppf right when I got the car cus I got some rock chips on the bumper and I also got this big rock that took off some paint on my hood, and austin detail even fixed that before they wrapped it.

They also fixed some rim cubage too! This place does everything. And the ceramic coating (which I had no idea what it did) until it rained the next day and I could compare rain drops from my car to the next car. It's crazy the difference. The rain just beads off of the car. After a rain storm it still looks nice! Anyhow. Point being, take your car here, Jackson or Evan or any of the guys will def take care of y'all!

(Review was drafted March 2015, submitted after I found it.) This was the absolute WORST experience I have ever had at any auto detail business ever! At first, I thought it was simply due to a bad day for them, but after being accosted by their boss/owner, Brian, today I realize there is clearly a history of negligence and poor customer service at this establishment.

It started off fine. I dropped off my mom's Audi Q5 to get 'The Super Boss' ($260) yesterday at 9:30am. The front desk person (named "Mel", I think.) said that it'd be done around 2pm, latest 3pm. So around 3pm that day I arrive to sit in their waiting room because my phone had died while waiting elsewhere. It was really warm in the waiting room because they don't usually keep the A/C on, according to Mel. Thankfully, she turned it on after a few minutes without me saying anything.

She was a very nice, personable lady, and made the wait very pleasant. A bit after 3pm, I heard that humidity was making it hard to dry the carpets properly. -- No biggie. I brought stuff to keep me busy. I let them know that I would need to leave by 4pm either way, though. I'm finally told the car is ready, I pay, and go to give the car a look.

I don't know what time this was, but my receipt is timed at 4:48 pm. Outside one of the workers puts the car mats and my stuff into the back because the carpets still aren't totally dry and offers to walk me around the car. As I'm walking around, I realize that the ink spot on the leather that I especially asked them to work on, at the expense of other things if needed, was still quite noticeably there.

A bit of spit and a rub with my finger got a bit off, so I asked them to go over it again. They did, and it was better. In the back, the ledge of my rear bumper had dust and large water spots. I asked them to wipe it down again. My rubber mats all had foot prints and dirt on them, because mats are left outside on the curb here to clean and dry. --- I asked them to re clean the rubber mats, which they did with the exception of the rear storage area mat. (Mr. Allen did clean it when I had to return the next day.) I then realized that a purple can of air freshener I remembered seeing in the car's cupholder was not there.

I ask about it and nobody remembered seeing it. They let me eyeball the shop, but I didn't see it anywhere. I just apologized for being mistaken and left. *Now, at this point, this is all minor stuff. But still, it's not stuff I want to have to ask for after waiting for hours and spending $260 not including a tip. At this point, I'm thinking this place is maybe a 4/5 star place.

I might try it again, based on all the other reviews rather than my experience.* Driving away from the place, I realized my windshield was dirty so I tried to use windshield wipers and fluid to clean it up. It turned out the grime was on the INSIDE of the windshield, and was a spray that hadn't been cleaned off. Also, the windshield wiper fluid did not bead and run off my windshield, while driving so before I even got home I had water spots across my windshield and car.

All I could think the whole drive home was "I just spent around $300 on this car and the damn windshield is covered in grime." At that point, I considered giving a 3 star review.--- (Mr. Allen, thankfully, wiped the inside and outside of my windshield when I returned the next day.) So I got home and took a few photos, because overall I thought things were ok and I was going to leave an ok review.

Then I realized the mats in the back of the car were not right! There are 4 black carpet mats that DON'T belong to me, 1 gray audi carpet mat, and 3 rubber audi mats. *Despite not being my car, both my boyfriend and I use it frequently. Last we knew, the car had 4 rubber Audi mats. And according to the car's owner and our memories, there were also 4 gray mats kept in the rear storage area.

So I figured I was missing 1 rubber mat and 3 gray carpet mats.* Additionally, I look through my bag of re-usable grocery bags in the back to find (1) trash they had found in the car (2) that purple can of air freshener that no one remembered ever seeing (3) a PANEL FROM SOMEWHERE INSIDE THE CAR that nobody thought to mention. I called and left a message with Mel about the mats and the random panel.

The next day I call after 1pm to follow up. I'm told the black mats do belong to someone else, and they'd start looking for my mats. When I returned, I was overtly suspected of lying about mats having been there until someone found one (there's no accountability for what's removed from cars), I was told my windshield experience was impossible because they use the highest quality products, also that my rubber mats were low quality anyway because they weren't Weathertech/over 0.5" deep.and honestly this list could go on for paragraphs. We even watched surveillance footage. Truly, the epitome of a 1 star experience.

Ive been back twice now since having my wheels powered coated. I am a firm believer that you do business with people you like, that is the case here. The past two visits I had Brian and his team do ceramic coating by Feynlab, rocker panel PPF, and then also replace PPF I had another shop do. As I mentioned before if you own a Model 3 or Tesla this is the place for you.

Brian and his team are very skilled at taking care of just about any of your automotive detailing needs. From basic detailing, to creative and unusual full body wraps, ceramic coatings, chrome deletes, wheel curb rash repair, etc., they do a great job at a good price, and will even go out of their way to help you with your transportation needs in getting your car to and from their location if they can. They are using latest technologies and products, and really know and understand paint, manufacturing processes, application, and care of these finishes on your car.

While I was in the Austin Detailing office trying to decide who to go to for detailing, two Tesla owners were there. I learned that one drives from San Antonio simply because Austin Detailing is the only place he'll trust for what he wants done. I decided that if Austin Detailing was good enough for them, it was good enough for me. My car is 10 years old, and I can tell you it looks almost new now both inside and out. Rims look fantastic too! Incredible work; Outstanding customer service. Thank you!

We've taken two Teslas to Brian and team now, and have been incredibly satisfied in both instances. We were part of the mad Model 3 rush in April of 2018, and despite dealing with a massive influx of cars, I always felt prioritized and important, as Brian was extremely communicative throughout the process. The same goes for the second vehicle they worked on just last month.

For both cars, we went with full paint correction and Feynlab ceramic coating, as well as tint on all windows + sunroof + rear windshield. Last year, they outsourced the tinting to a local shop (who did a great job), but they now do tinting in house as well, and did a phenomenal job. This time, I was torn on how dark to go with tint, and Brian provided a great breakdown of lighter and darker options and I'm extremely happy with my decision. They even wrapped my center console with a slick matte black wrap for free. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Recently we had our Car's (Model-3) PPF & Ceramic pro coating done from Austin Detailing and they really did an excellent job. The owner Justin is a very decent person who follows honest business practices & cares about quality of the products and service they provide. Justin is also very responsible owner and respectful person. Their staff is also very professional and they did a great job, perfectly on time. We would certainly recommend Austin Detailing for any interior as well as exterior jobs, on any automobile.

Brian and his crew are top notch professionals. They detailed a truck that an employee of mine had for 9 months and completely trashed. The outcome was spectacular! Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend them for any detailing needs.

Brian and his team consistently go above and beyond. We had our Tesla Model 3 fully wrapped with Xpel PPF with a ceramic coat, and our windows recently tinted. Every time, the quality has been TOP NOTCH, and they give our car back sparkling and looking like new. I won't go to anyone else.

I've found our guy! So professional and made our SUV like new. It's a mom-mobile so I figured there was no hope. He scrubbed apple sauce off the ceiling, sticky whatever off my carpet, and my tan leather seats are sparkling white. He didn't try to upcharge me for a bunch of unnecessary stuff either. Go to Austin Detailing, it supports some hard working locals.

I brought my 97 Eurovan Camper to Austin Detailing to get a thorough cleaning. It is a unique vehicle but about the same size as a large van. Was quoted $200 by the owner for a total interior cleaning and detailing. I explained over the phone that it was dirty and I needed someone to really put some work in. I had read the positive reviews online and was very excited to drop it off to see what they could do. Dropped the van off the night before it was to be cleaned.

The next afternoon they called to say it was finished and I promptly came by to pick it up. When I got there my personal cleaning supplies from the back of the van were in the driver seat, the cushions were on the floor, jumper cables piled on the cushions. It was not quite ready to be picked up. I went inside and within a minute I noticed that the window sills and cabinets were not wiped, the water marks on the side panels were not cleaned as they came off with my finger.

There was literally a layer of dust on multiple surfaces and still dog hair on the seats. I explained my concerns to the manager who brought his crew back out and we sat watching them "clean". If cleaning means wiping random surfaces with towels and then walking away they did a bang up job. To me, it seemed abundantly clear the cleaning staff could not care less about the job.

I pointed out a water spot, the guys claimed it was cleaned and the stain had come back. So my girlfriend borrowed a towel and cleaned the spot in front of them, next day and it is still clean. The manager was a very nice guy but the job was just not worth $200. I was prepared for the van to not come completely clean (it is 20 years old) but I expected them to actually wipe the whole thing down and attempt to clean the trouble spots. Now we get to re-clean the van ourselves.

Took my 2008 Infiniti G37 to Brian. Turns out, the car had been repainted prior to my purchase. Austin Detailing sanded, polished, and Opti Glossed it. Brian went far and above what I expected and performed a small miracle. It now looks absolutely amazing. I highly recommend these guys, and will definitely be back and recommend them to friends.

I've never had my car detailed before, so I really don't know what to compare it to. Given that it cost $120 to detail only the interior of my PriusC (for size comparison purposes), I had high expectations. I'm also pretty detail oriented about cleaning (especially when paying for it), so keep those things in mind as you read my review. THE GOOD: I had bought my car from my sister (a dirty person), and she had left it pretty gross.

The light grey cloth seats had tons of stains on them. They removed almost all of the stains. Awesome. They also cleaned out the cup containers so that I didn't feel grossed out by touching them. They had been really sticky from coins and some kind of icky syrup. The floors were generally clean. THE BAD: While overall it was good, I was really expecting no spot to be missed.

But there were quite a few missed spots. There was still sand on the backs of my seats (my sister lived by the beach). That was clearly just an oversight because a vacuum would have easily fixed that. My seat belt latches were still very dirty, and that would have been fixed had someone noticed that. The hole between my buttons and the console also remained dirty.

It looked as if the dirt had actually been pushed in. The floors weren't "that" clean. I feel like a little more attention would have fixed it. For paying as much as I did, I expected better. They might be better than the rest, but I have nothing to compare it to. I do know that I will try somewhere else when I get my car detailed next year.
