Makes unnecessary recommendations. For future reference I asked for explanation of why the recommended works, such as flushing the "contaminated" break fluid that was done by dealer in less than a year and 6K miles, or complete replacement of the lower control arms, the youngsters with attitude had no idea, keeping me hanging while googling for answers, to tell me none was necessary and just recommendations. Price similar to the dealers' with not much of a customer service.

I received good service here. Aside from the repairs done to my car being satisfactory the customer service and line of communication were good. Specifically Brad was very helpful and informative. They also washed, cleaned and waxed my car prior to pick up. I would recommend this shop to anyone looking to have repairs done.

Brad the GM was very nice to deal with. Very knowledgeable about the industry and cars about the car and how one drives their car. The workmen ship was above standard in house although the Performance alignment company that they form out the work toe needed to get my car back because my steering was crooked but they took care of it the next day. I highly recommend this shop for all of your high performance car needs.

I even met up with guys for a fun drive in their car club. Oliver the head tuner tech did a great job on my tune car drives insanely new brake and rotors stop on a dime. Thank you guys I'll be in for some more mods.

I had work done to my 2017 golf R from a mechanic, that made a mess. Ingolstadt Technician was able to diagnose and repair the issue. It was an O2 sensor falt, and fuel gauge fault. Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

Brad and team were very helpful in servicing my 2017 VW Passat R-line. Brad provided great customer service by taking the time to discuss my needs. His team installed a Stage 1 upgrade to my car that increased the overall performance. I'm happy with the results and look forward to using them for my future car needs.

Very pleased with the new stage 1 tune done on my GTI here! From the initial inquiry to my first time driving it afterwards, it was a great experience and surpassed my expectations. Brad and Logan answered all my questions. My car's performance is on another level now, and we're just getting started. I definitely plan to come back for future performance work and maintenance. These guys know their stuff. Add in top notch customer service & great vibes, this place is a keeper. Highly recommend!

I needed to have my car inspected for a track day, they fit me in with only 24 hours notice, even though they were fully booked 2 weeks out. They also added an oil change for me further taking time away from the techs that were already fully booked. They're all professional and very friendly. 100% would recommend to anyone.

I have a 12 year old VW with low miles that has been sitting for most of the pandemic, last time I took it to the dealer they had mentioned potentially thousands of dollars of maintenance that they said I needed. I took my car to Ingolstadt West on the recommendation of a friend who also has German cars and they were excellent. They performed a comprehensive assessment of my car and did not find any significant issues, performed the needed maintenance, and also had suggestions on dealing with a couple annoying issues that aren't safely or performance issues. Very excellent service and I will be going back to them as my primary mechanic from now on.

Ingolstadt and Brad were Great. Had a slight coolant smell coming from my TTS. Brought it into Ingolstadt and they quickly diagnosed the issue. They worked with my aftermarket warranty, completed all the paperwork, and repairs. Brad kept me up to date throughout the entire process. When I picked up my vehicle it was in better condition than when I dropped it off.

She was spotless and drove beautifully. They even performed an oil flush, which resolved some Code issues without a major repair. I trust them with my cars completely. Ask for Brad. He's a great guy to work with.

Went and got my oil changed today and couldn't be any more blow away with how friendly and amazing all the staff there were, not only did they do my oil, they also topped off all my fluids and did a all around inspection of my car at no extra cost to me. Brad, Ivan and the rest of the guys there are awesome. I'll definitely be coming back for future services an mods to my S5

Always great quality over the last 10 years I have been coming here. I have never felt taken advantage of or felt like They were suggesting something unnecessary (like historical experiences with other shops) I love their complementary courtesy inspection. It is so thorough and informative. Very easy to understand information. I know that top quality may cost a little more but in the long run it has saved me so much money and I'm very grateful to all the guys at Ingolstadt West!

I didn't have my car serviced here. So why am I leaving a review? I was next door at the mortuary and when I came out my tire was flat :( Of course I yelped nearest gas station and proceeded to head there. Then I immediately saw this place, heard my tire getting flatter and decided not to risk driving any further. I pulled in and was greeted by Brad. Told him what was going on an he promptly put air in my tire! :) We could both hear the air leaking out. Told me about a tire place less than a block away.

I believe he said it was his shop. I thanked him and went straight there! Super friendly, helped me out with no questions asked -- a super solid, positive energy dude. First class. A "real one" as the kids say lol Thank you for helping me! I would be happy to give you my business in the future!

Went in with the breaks squeaking. thought I'd need to replace but they were honest and said it was just break dust. Walked out with my oil change and smile. Thanks Ingolstadt!

This review is based on a phone conversation I had with one of the staff members. He was very easy to talk to, heard my concerns, and offered options. He was friendly and honest. That's hard to come by now a days!

I took my 2007 Audi A4 3.2 Cabriolet to replace my ignition lock. Cost $1000. Took over a week. The car also had oil leaks so took it back and the engine check light was on. After their diagnosis, they claimed multiple shorts and necessary parts replacements along with the oil leak repair for an estimate of over $9000! I took it to another shop in Woodland Hills who replaced the valve cover gasket, cleaned off all the oil on the engine and found no actual sensor faults once that was done.

Totally false diagnosis by Ingolstadt. Leak fixed, no engine check light, for just over $300. Done in 1 day. Fast service and correct diagnosis. I will never recommend Ingolstadt to anyone for any car repairs.

Body shops with horrible ethics and even worse employees there's a guy called Brad' Townsend who works here and there and he literally try to assault and rip my phone out of my hand after I told him I was going to leave a bad review from the horrific service he gave me. They will quote you ridiculously overpriced prices make up excuses that their mechanics are out of the office and the owner and manager here are especially shady I would never refer them to anybody with morals.

Please BEWARE do not give this place your business. I am posting a video here of Brad town send the manager at this establishment whenever we had an issue he would not try to help and instead advised to go make an appointment elsewhere and always has this I'm too cool bad ass attitude. His attitude is the entire reason why this place has been failing ever since the last manager left this place and I can tell why!

If you are even thinking about going to this place I'm going to leave my contact information so that I can convince you otherwise and so that we can make this place cave into the ground since it doesn't care for its customers at all

I've been coming here for years with my Audi A4 and just recently had a bunch of work done to my MK6 GTI. I've never had any issues and usually recommend this shop for any Volkswagen/Audi enthusiast!

Been servicing multiple cars here over the years. Everyone from service advisers to mechanics and of course the owner Ian are very professional and always here to help.

I selected Ingolstadt because their customers generally laud their service, their communication, the fact that they go out of your way to help. I should not have ignored the negative reviews. I am not in the habit or writing reviews, good or bad. But, after a very negative experience due to the estimate jumping from $2,100 to $3,300 which needed 2 visits because something was forgotten the first time, so a total of 9 days of being carless in October, I wrote a detailed letter to the owner, Ian Hanson and Never heard back.

Now I have a minor issue and would have returned here had I received a response. Here is a summary of my October experience as detailed to the owner: I am writing you directly due to my first experience in your shop. I recently moved to Los Angeles from the east coast. This car and my previous Audis were all serviced by Audi dealers in Pittsburgh, predominately.

I recently spent hours researching the internet in an attempt to find a good mechanic. October 3, I emailed Ingolstadt West after viewing your many 5 star reviews. I did not receive a response, so I called October 5 and spoke with Brad. He arranged for car to be picked up the morning of Wednesday 7th. I had recently had the yellow engine light appear in my dashboard & I wanted the license plate light replaced.

To briefly summarize: I received my 3rd different estimate after they had the car 3 full business days The car was delivered 9 full days after being picked up. The car was actually ready a day earlier but their internet was a problem and payments not going through. They Could Have Called for the payment to go through. The car was returned by a driver not wearing a mask; therefore, I was unable to enter the car for 3 additional days. (I had numerous times told Brad & Tom I am immuno-compromised & need to be careful.) The car was returned without explaining that the light over the license plate was NOT repaired, the initial complaint.

Car was returned with the back of the driver's seat detached. Probably because the seat was pushed far back hitting an obstacle in the foot well. I called 10-21 and spoke with Tom about the still broken license plate light and the detached back of driver's seat. Brad called me back and agreed the license plate light should have been fixed when he had the car.

I sent pictures of the driver's seat which he said he would review with the mechanic. Brad said he would let me know soon when I can bring the car in for the license plate light and seat repairs. So, again, the car was back in for 2 days to replace the light and glue the seat. I cannot be this long carless. I still have health issues and renting is not safe for me. I will probably go the dealer, pay more, but receive more efficient service and not need a rental.

Ended up not using this shop due to: First time called for an estimate. Gentleman was very nice and said he could provide an estimate via email if I provided all the vehicle information including VIN. Once I did this I never got a reply. As a follow up I called again and spoke to Oliver. I told him what I was looking for and attempted to assist but was not forthcoming at all with estimates despite the fact that I asked for ranges/worst case scenarios and explicitly said I'm not trying to hold you to a price I am just comparing shops and want a "home" mechanic for my 2 BMWs and 1 Mercedes as we've just moved to the area.

It was a very painful process. In addition there are hourly diagnostic fees which are in no way applied or discounted if you do the work with them. If you're not going to provide estimates, that's fine but don't be wishy washy and say you can then can't.

This review is a long time coming. I actually had my Audi A4 serviced here pre-covid not only did they do a great job but they also provide a video of the work they performed. Pretty slick pro touch. Then, someone hit me a few months ago, decided to not go through insurance and called my guy Brad at Ingolstadt and he recommended a small shop in Reseda to do the repairs. That shop called Lad Auto Collision did an incredible job so not sure why I've seen any bad reviews for Ingolstadt. They were reasonably priced and dis great work!
