Took my car into another shop which was quick to tell me I had a problem, but acted like they didn't want to fix it. So I luckily found Arrow who not only fixed it, but did a great job doing so. The quote they gave was accurate as well as the timeline to get the work done. Looks like I've found a new shop to take care of my car. Service: General repairs & maintenance

Arrow Automotive repaired the steering mechanism on our GMC pickup. The work was scheduled and performed very efficiently. James was our service advisor and he followed up on the repair and showed us that he really was concerned to know that the repair was done to our satisfaction. When we experienced a small related problem, he arranged for it to be dealt with expeditiously and at no additional cost.

We are highly satisfied customers. We are not normally on social media, but we are making an exception with this review because James and his team are worthy of special recognition for the excellent service we received.

Took a used truck to them I just bought. This was my second time taking a vehicle to them. The service is OUTSTANDING. Very professional and they keep you in the loop on the communication throughout the whole process. Got a completely dead AC blowing ice cold again. Highly recommend them for any car repairs. They are not a cheap just get it working company. They get the repair done right.

Arrow Automotive was the third company that did a transmission repair on my Jeep and they got it right! The pan had been slightly tweaked from the initial repair (another state & business) and no one else could figure out why it leaked. Arrow Automotive conducted a thorough examination and replaced the pan. It's an enormous relief to not have transmission fluid dripping or worry if the transmission is going to blow out. I appreciate their attention to detail, clean shop and professionalism. I highly recommend Arrow Automotive.

My check engine light kept coming on and off for a week or so. I took it to Arrow Automotive Transmission because a friend had recommended them and now I see why he recommended them. James was very helpful from the start. He explained in detail what was the diagnosis on my car and what needed to be done to fix it. James answered all my questions and concerns on my SUV. Arrow Automotive is the best shop I have ever had the pleasure of going to. They got me in quickly, fixed my car fast and even went so far as to detail what other issues they found. They were amazing with telling me exactly how much things were going to cost and they communicate so easily and kindly. I would recommend them over and over again. My car is an 2001 and they took such good care of it, which can be tough to find with a car of that age.

I travel in the mountains often for sports and rely heavily on my SUV. I couldn't get into my usual repair shop. My friend referred me to Arrow Automotive. Chris & James accommodated my graveyard schedule and had me out in a flash. James went over the top by replacing a second brake light knowing it was likely to go out soon. I'll be back. I love Arrow Automotive! I was so unhappy and felt so unsafe driving my car. I took my car in sure I needed a new transmission. Nope. This company provides top notch service, with honesty and great communication. I had excessive play in my transmission output shaft that was looking like a possible rebuild, but they recommended a sleeve and seal solution that saved me a couple thousand dollars. It just goes to show that there are still some honest shops around. You guys have earned my business. Thanks!

Last week I took my truck in for a simple transmission check up late in the afternoon. During the inspection the conscientious staff thought they detected the smell of fuel. Upon further inspection they determined one of my fuel filters was leaking. On the spot, without any type of appointment or prior notice, they found the replacement parts, got them installed AND had the job completed by 04:45. Awesome customer service. Can't say enough positive words about the staff - and they have the cleanest shop in all of Reno!

Arrow Transmission was very quick to get me in for an appointment as my SUV had to be towed to their location. Once they found what was wrong, they were thorough in helping me understand the problem and what it was going to take to fix. Chris was absolutely amazing and patient with all my questions. My SUV was in and out in two days. When I did get my car back, it was cleaned and washed on the outside. Highly recommend!

I have been loyal to another automotive repair business locally. They did not have time to change my oil, so I called Arrow. They were very professional, the waiting room was immaculate, the price was fair. I decided to bring my other vehicle there as well. Again they went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. I think I have a new auto repair shop!

I had been dealing with my air conditioning blowing warm air for some time it wouldn't hold a charge. I would be a cheap skate and get it recharged some what to get me through the summer. I finally decided to get it checked out at Arrow Automotive. I was getting ready to go on vacation when it started to blow warm air. I took it in and James took care of all the details. I can honestly say I'm a happy customer. My vacation was very comfortable and it's staying very cool in my truck. Thanks James for sending on my cool vacation.

My transmission was in "limp mode", only had 3rd gear and reverse. Pro 1 Automotive recommended Arrow Automotive Transmission for a diagnosis. Dropped the truck off in the morning and received a call from James who was very helpful and professional from the moment I walked in the door. Arrow tech had discovered a bad crank position sensor which is something I could take care of myself.

Money spent on a diagnosis was well spent and I am grateful to Arrow for their prompt service and honesty. Should I ever need help with transmission issues in the future I know where to go and who to recommend if anyone asks me.

We had an appointment set up and then the morning of the appointment, our vehicle would not start. They told us that we can bring it in as soon possible or they could offer us a tow if it won't start. We ended up getting it towed and then they were very helpful in letting us know about the various issues and what it would take to fix. They worked with us and communicated every step of the process and made sure we knew what was happening and what the cost was going to be. Very professional and will definitely use them again.

Arrow Automotive provides honest, informed opinions and recommendations, and they perform professional, dependable, timely work. Their customer service and quality is extremely consistent. I am so grateful I don't have to worry about being taken advantage of there, or worry that repairs aren't being done properly, or are being overpriced. (They cost what they cost, in addition to a fair labor charge.) I started going to Arrow Automotive in 2016 when an insurance-backed company failed to repair my car after an accident.

Even after I repeatedly brought it back to the insurance-backed shop, my engine was grumbling loudly all the time, and finally the whole thing went out a couple weeks later. My insurance company denied the damage was accident-related and refused to cover it, despite multiple disputes. My car was a mess, but I went to Arrow (per the recommendation of my tow truck driver) and they got it running again with minimum investment on my part, and I have gone to them ever since.

They could have told me my car needed tons of work to make it home (it legitimately needed tons of work), but instead they laid out what the bare minimum would be, since that's what I could afford at the time. My car made it home within my budget and, though it was a little sad and funny, it survived another year and a half, giving me plenty of time to buy a new one.

I take my new car there and have never had any issues. I even get oil changes here after my local Jiffy Lube failed to put the air filter back correctly one time during their standard up-sell attempt (I couldn't drive over 40mph until I got it back in). I just want to know someone is doing their job correctly, and Arrow gets it right every time. I am one happy, loyal customer.
