Had to bring my car in for some work, and I absolutely love the way that this place communicates with the customer. I loved having documentation of what was wrong along with photos/videos. Makes me feel like I wasn't treated like a gullible customer.

My window would not roll up I have a newborn baby I need to find someone to fix it ASAP I had a brand new truck a 2022 Ford F150 I called up they were booked but they still took me in amazing service at a good price would highly recommend this company

They replace my heater core in a very timely manner. The cost was reasonable. I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism. Outstanding customer service and overall service! I found my new repair shop!

This is a save and affordable bet for all of your car repair needs. They gave me an estimate which came back just over 500 for my serpentine belt power, a traveler pulley replacement, and the low pressure line on my power steering. When the price for that line came back 100 over what it was estimated, they worked with me and essentially ate the cost. Honest guys, quality work, and timely. can't ask for much more. 10/10 would recommend trusting with your vehicle

Kevin Sadler and his team are awesome. We brought my daughters car in for a serpentine belt replacement and upon further inspection, they found that her water pump was leaking and that her timing belt gear had failed and was about to be a complete failure of her car. But they got it fixed with in a few days, as you have to have a bunch of special tools for my daughters car.

But she says it runs better now than when we bought it. Kevin also gave me all the information that I needed to provide to the warranty company to get paid back for the work performed. Thanks American Pride, You all are Awesome. This is the kind of service that you just do not find anymore and it is very appreciated. Will continue to use this company for automotive work.

I get nervous when it's time to take care of my car as I am generally uneducated about the subject. At this point in time my car needed a lot of work, oil change, new tires, etc. And the gentlemen here were so kind and put me at ease. They walked me through everything and were completely upfront with the costs. Truly a great experience and I will not be trusting my car with anyone else from this point forward.

Brought my car here to diagnose a high pitch whine and intermittent transmission engagement issue. The service person told me I needed a level 2 diagnostic for $199 to identify the problem. I agreed to this service because I needed to know specifically what caused this problem. Later, the service person informed me that the entire clutch assembly needed to be replaced for $1,600.

When I did not approve this repair the service person said "I guess you can drive it till it dies." When I picked up my car the mechanic told me that the issue could be the clutch, the transmission, or something else. An out-of-town mechanic diagnosed a problem with the clutch specifically, not the entire assembly, and charged me $621 for diagnostic and clutch repair. Additionally, my car needs a valve adjustment which is a common issue with my make and model.

I contacted American Pride asking for a refund since 1) they failed to sufficiently diagnose the issue I asked them to diagnose and 2) they failed to diagnose an issue common to my make and model during the $199 diagnostic. In response Billy called me and told me that since their guess turned out to be partially correct, I had no cause to complain.

I said that American Pride staff did not agree about what caused the issue, and that quoting a $1,600 repair for an issue that hadn't been specifically diagnosed was wrong. Billy then said that to diagnose the specific issue, they would have had to "open" the part of the car that was making the noise. This admission confirms that American Pride failed to sufficiently diagnose the issue I asked them to diagnose. Billy offered no response to my complaint that American Pride failed to identify that the car needed a valve adjustment. Billy insisted that I send him the paperwork from my out-of-town mechanic.

I agreed to send the paperwork if American Pride would refund my diagnostic. Billy said he had to check with his boss and call me back. This was a month ago and Billy has not called me back.

I called them this morning for a state inspection and they squeezed me in. I dropped off my car, and they were able to return my car the same day. They sent me a link with picture of everything being inspected, and they recommended that I change the brake fluid. The staff here are so friendly, and I will defiantly recommend this company to my friends and family in the future

American Pride Automotive is a business worth spending your money at. Personally, I am a hard customer to deal with, especially when it comes to automotive stuff. I am extremely critical and judgmental on the work that is done. I even had a disagreement with them about a charge. Noting that negativity, in the end of everything I was still okay with giving them my hard earn money.

They defiantly earned it all. They may seem a little expensive, but in all honesty they are not. For what you are getting in customer service and knowledgeable information, it is all worth it. They may try to persuade you into the overly cautious side of maintenance. May it be for profit or safety, you can decide, haha. In the end, they are an extremely good company to work with.

I went to the location on Ironbound road which isn't listed. I went there for the state inspection and they didn't more then the inspection which I wasn't expecting. I got there early and they took my car early. I have some things that need to be fixed in my car and they took my the top ones that need to me fix. They told me some serve issues that no one else address compared to when I take my car to the dealership. I will be definitely taking my car there from now on. The customer service was definitely amazing.

I would be caution with American Pride. I see a lot of folks recommending and I went to American Pride based on their recommendations. Twice I have been disappointed by there service. August I took my car in to be looked at and requested my door arms be removed. They just broke off the arms and never removed the hardware. This week I figured I go in and have them look at my car since I was getting water in.

I mentioned that they never took off the hardware from the last service. Short story.they found no leek and quoted me over $3k on other stuff that they never mentioned in August and they wanted to give me a quote to remove screws from the door. Plus, I had an 8 AM schedule and my car was not taking into the shop until about 4:30 pm.

When my car broke down on the way home from my parents' house, I was panicked- I knew no one who lived near Williamsburg and it was hours away from my destination. Fortunately, I found American Pride Automotive! Greg and his team are incredible- I came in at 10 am and they provided the (multiple) repairs needed for me to be back on the road by 3 pm.

Now my car is running better than ever! Valerie and Conner at the front desk were incredibly sweet, funny and accommodating. Having your car break down is not usually a positive experience, but they made it as painless, easy and (dare I say) fun as possible! I only wish I lived closer so they could be my regular mechanics! I will recommend them to everyone I know!

We are a family with 2 children visiting from NY. We had car problems with our Land Rover. we called Connor and after speaking to manager he told us he would take us in even tho they were fully booked. The service was excellent from the moment we walked into the door of the car service we felt like family. They constantly texted updates on the car and parts.

Very happy with the service here. We had to get several vehicles inspected in our transition to life in Williamsburg. The guys at American Pride made that a painless process. Wish I could say the same for DMV, but that was at least step up in productivity than my past dealings in MD. American Pride has a clean, stadium garage feel as you peer past the service desk onto the work floor.

The reps are pleasant and prices fair. I need a good quality shop to keep my 1st generation MR2 in great shape for long drives on the lovely, tree-lined roads, and based on recommendations, reviews, and personal experience to date, American Pride is it.

It's always nerve-racking to find a new car place, so I was heavily relieved when we came upon this place with several of our cars needing inspections. They are professional and friendly and, most importantly, honest. We knew one of our cars definitely needs new tires soon and the fact that they asked if we'd like a printout of the estimate (as opposed to just giving it to us w the inspection receipt) just goes to show they're courteous and thoughtful in how they address 'things that need to be fixed' w customers. Would recommend.

I was warmly greeted by the service writer and felt immediately comfortable when arrived at the facility. Have many maintenance and state inspection repairs needed. My"Old Betsey" has been neglected, however the mechanics at this facility are up to the challenge. "Keith" took the time to review and explain the complete work evaluation, offer payment options and answer my questions. As a female, it is important to feel confident with who is working on your car and understand what has to be done. I will return to APA to have the work completed.

These guys are the best! We have a daughter who recently graduated from William and Mary. We live in Wyoming so it was very important to us to have someone we could trust, taking care of her "automotive needs". This is the perfect place. Fast and courteous service, ordered state inspection oil change and wiper blades. All done within two hours after drop off. They also checked fluids, and made informative recommendations, great at explaining and drawing diagrams of the engine and parts that need replacement.

My daughter took our car to get inspected and there was a brake issue. They fixed it quickly and were incredibly nice to her. They also helped her change a few bulbs and she watched so next time she can do it herself. Great service! I'd highly recommend!

I called and requested a comparison quote be made up from another shop. American Pride got it made up and called me back in 4hrs with their comparison estimate. Extremely professional and friendly.

Was in town visiting and had a problem with the underbody of my car. I found this business by doing a Yelp search and the reviews looked very favorable. Stopped by without an appointment. They immediately repaired my car. The service, professionalism & friendliness were the best. I only wish they were located in my area!

First time here, called about getting two state inspections and an oil change done. They only had one appointment available on the day I was requesting but the guy I talked to stated he would try to squeeze both cars in. Also the first time an auto shop didnt talk down to me. My husband and I show up and are greeted by name. Service was perfect and so were the employees.

My truck broke down with a near catastrophic gasket failure while driving from Chicago to Georgia. The Manager, Greg, made special arrangements with their best mechanic to dedicate his time to getting me back on the road and home in time for Christmas. A job as big as a head gasket replacement should have kept me stranded for several days but the hard work and dedication that Darryl showed had me driving again in 36 hours. Unheard of.

These gentlemen epitomize the integrity and know-how that is all to often lacking in the service industries. I can't quite articulate how grateful I am of these guys or how high of a recommendation I give them. There's not enough stars on the review. I would also like to apologize to anyone that may have been inconvenienced by my job being expedited; I certainly didn't intend to delay anyone.

I've been going to American Pride for two years for routine maintenance and inspection of our vehicles. Gerald, Tom, Kevin and the whole crew are not only professional and friendly, but they are trustworthy. They don't try to push me into getting add-on services that I might not need, they keep me informed on the progress of the work on my car, and they are just really nice people.

They really want to take care of the customer, and I'm so appreciative of all they do. I recommend them to anybody who asks for an honest vehicle maintenance and/or sales place!

Wonderful automobile shopping experience. Mike is pleasant and friendly; there are none of the typical used car games played here. I love the car (VW Jetta SportWagon TDI) and the price was., well., I must say I was a bit amazed he accepted my offer. I can actually say, "I enjoyed buying my car from American Pride Automotive." You will too! Also, I use the Toano shop now for auto service (5-stars), but the guys on Airport Rd are 1st rate too.

Always honest and clear with what is required and what is optional to be replaced/repaired. Refreshingly there is no hard selling of unnecessary products/procedures. Staff are friendly and courteous, text/email updates with pictures included on car status are highly appreciated. All in all very happy! Will continue coming back for subsequent years.

I called at the last minute for servicing, and they were able to schedule me the next day (even though it was the day before a holiday). I am always treated respectfully by the employees, and Kevin is a warm, friendly, honest, and knowledgeable manager. I went to this shop after my battery cable corroded and I was fed up with my last mechanic taking obvious shortcuts in the maintenance of my vehicle. Kevin was super-nice from the beginning to the end with helping me out and getting my car back on the road in a minimal amount of time. He kept me updated on every step of the process, so there were no surprises when I got my final bill, and he was very honest about what did and didn't have to be done. On top of all that, the price was way less than I expected. I think I found my new mechanic!

We recently had American Pride Automotive in Williamsburg perform the 60,000 mile servicing on our Lexus RX350. We were extremely pleased by the outstanding service provide by Tony. He provided us an estimate that was much more reasonable then Lexus was charging for the identical service and explained everything in detail. The service technician Brian ensured everything was checked within the specifications of our manual.

Over the years, we have had many bad dealings with car repair shops and dealerships. This was not the case with American Pride. We left with the feeling we had been treated like family. In addition to the Lexus, we will use American Pride for our other vehicles for regular maintenance and repairs. Thanks for making this a good experience. I just picked my car up from your Williamsburg location. I have to tell you, I love all those guys! I actually look forward to going in. Everyone is always so friendly, and they always make me feel important, and that my car and time is valuable. I'm always worried I am going to be taken advantage of for 1) Being a woman and 2) Being a woman with little knowledge of motor vehicles.

I just wanted you to know that Kevin and the staff at American Pride in York County provide outstanding service. I never have to be concerned about my Jeep when it is in the American Pride shop. My Jeep is about 25 years old which can complicate any repair. Kevin always keeps me informed as to what really needs to be fixed and what can wait. He also advises me on how to keep the costs a low as possible while getting the job done correctly. The staff are true professionals who can be trusted with any job. I would and do recommend American Pride to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle.
