DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR INTO THIS SHOP. Their 5 stars review must be fake account created by the owner themselves. We brought our car in last week. And everything that they were pricing us that need to be replace were all over priced. After telling the admin team that will just do the one thing that they recommended it to be fix. They have a completely different attitude towards us because we didn't want to spend $4,000 worth of stuff they quoted us for. Brought it to another mechanic shop they mentioned certain parts wasn't place back on correctly due to ( All about automotive).

All the problems was fixed with half the cost of what AAA quoted us for. This place is disgusting and will make sure they can charge anyone that walk through their door every single penny that they can.

I have an older Prius and have always taken it to Toyota for service and repairs. I was quoted $1200 for a 120,000 mile tune up at Toyota; that's a pretty big chunk of change. I thought I would shop around and remembered All About Automotive being members of the local Chamber of Commerce so I gave them a call. For less than $500 I was able to get the tune up. My car is running much better and I really appreciate the customer service in the office. Thank you All About Automotive, I will be referring friends and family.

Had vehicle towed in. Was unable to make it to my appointment on time because of another vehicle breakdown. So I had that towed in also. Once I was able to make contact with the employees I was asked to leave. Considering the position I put them in I understand there reason. I just wish we could of worked something out. Although my experience wasn't that great there I would recommend going to this shop.

They were not rude to me although I could tell they were not happy with me. They could have had my vehicle's towed away and I am very thankful they didn't do that. I am sorry for any inconvenience I may have caused and thankyou for giving me the aportunity to retrieve my motorhome, jeep and tow dolly.

Yeah, still awesome. They helped advocate for me and found a lot of issues with a vehicle I bought from Shift.com (shift technologies or their other names). They found the evap cannister etc needed to be replaced, and recommended to replaced the fluids, belts, etc. They fixed my truck but the dealer did help with only a little bit of the issue. All About Auto however, was amazing.

They were incredibly busy and couldn't always get to me but they ended getting a hold of me, fixed my vehicle, took it through a separate DEQ (because Shift wanted a physical copy) and they did all this. They even sent me a card about their service. What a 180 on customer service compared to Shift (and I am sure other dealers). Unfortunately, the dealer is not providing compensation for the fluids, body work, trim, tires, filters and shocks that need to be replaced.

Thanks All About Auto for actually trying to helping and doing it literally. If there's something I can't fix on my vehicle I am taking it to you from now on. Thanks again.

We've now had our Lexus and Thunderbird serviced/maintenance by All About Automotive, and will soon have our truck maintenances here as well, and moving away from Dealer service centers. We found more and more that 'advisors' at dealers lack empathy, communication skills (which include listening), and lack of understanding or care. Each time we've gone to Steve & Karens shop we've gained more and more trust in getting our car's done correctly and a willingness to explain the 'why' behind work needed, or not needed. We would definitely recommend them.

Seemed like nice people but not the greatest service. Tried telling me it was going to be about $300 for diagnostic tests on my check engine light for possible low oil pressure (with other codes). Had the oil changed somewhere else and the check engine light went off with no problems. My first red flag to this place was when they told me it was a free basic comprehensive inspection and it would be about 1 1/2 hours.

I figured this would give me enough time to pick up 5 year old from school. When I took the car in she told me 3 hours (not enough time to get my kid from school) I agreed and walked to the school and home. Not the most ideal situation but wanted an inspection on the car. About 3 hours later I call them and the back drum breaks had apparently fallen apart when they were doing the inspection. (Cost about $300 repair) They absolutely needed to repair it before I drove it so gave them the okay to fix the breaks.

I was without the car for the weekend until Tuesday. (Even though I was assured it would be done on monday) I was told by the mechanic he would rotate the tires and replace the drum breaks. I spoke with him for a long time about the check engine light and what he recommended and what might be wrong with it. Not once did he mention to change the oil even though the oil filter was leaking he was telling me I needed a dye test to check for leaks and other diagnostics.

So their recommendations for diagnosing were over $300 after I had the break replaced. I did some research and found the check engine light could be as simple as an oil change. I just saved myself $300 because of a google search and a friend of mine running the code, but I feel a trust worthy and knowledgeable mechanic would do this for me. I feel they were trying to get as much money out of me as possible in one go (maybe hurting financially?).

Also had to remind them to rotate my tires before picking it up. Glad they did the repair on my breaks well, glad they got my tire fixed when they got a nail in it. Overall not thrilled with this place and will probably never bring my vehicles to them again. In response to the owner: I changed the oil after I ran the codes myself. The check engine light went off without clearing and has been off since that day.

I understand working on drum breaks is a timely repair (that's why I would never do it myself) but I know a few people would've charged me less for drum breaks, but since they fell apart at your shop it was more cost efficient to get them done by you. You did a fine job on them. I am not happy about the lack of communication regarding timing and also suggesting a $300 diagnostic before looking at the simpler options.

I wouldn't even give this place a single STAR! Over $1,000 even with their DISCOUNTS and more then 3 weeks of diagnostics and still paid to tow it away. Poor communication. I had to explain what needed to be done and didn't do it. I put blue tape of sensor clips that needed to be replace and after two weeks had to tell and show them again. Still unfinished a week later. 3 sensor pigtails, and one sensor, and oil change and spark plugs for over $1,000 bill.

DISCRIMINATED at All About Auto shop. I wasn't welcomed in this shop. And the words they have plastered on their walls: Honesty and Integrity are empty words. 1. During my first day at the shop, they kept my car for over 2 hrs just to tell me that they couldn't diagnose anything because the diagnostic connector was not working. Well, it takes a few seconds to connect the scanner to find that out. Also, they charged me $25 to tell me my car couldn't be diagnosed. 2. So, after $600 of estimate to just diagnose my car, I made an appointment for the following week. 3.

A week later, finally, dopped off my car. Waited outside in a city park at almost freezing 34F temperature for 4 hrs for my car to finally be fixed.until I got a message that the tech/ her husband was unable to work on my car at all as he was sent home because, allegedly, he hit his head working on another car before mine. (WHY was I being told to bring my car early morning if it was just sitting there without even being touched for 4 hrs?!.). 4. So, I went back to the shop to pick up my car that wasn't worked on again.

Once there, I re- scheduled the appointment for the following week. 5. The next day, I received a message that the tech ( her husband) who will be fixing my car will be away for the "looong two weeks". 6. The time was after the shop's working hrs, so I left a message saying that "let's make an appointment for as soon as the tech (her husband Steve) is back to work" 7.

The next day I called the shop to make sure they got my message regarding the new appointment. I had to call more than once because nobody was taking my call during working hours. So, I left another message regarding a new appointment and asked Karen to call me back that day. 8. Five days later, and no call from the owner Karen or the receptionist.

Complete silence. So, it became obvious to me without a doubt that they were trying to get rid of me from the beginning, and I wasn't wanted in their shop. In fact, I felt being JUDGED from day one, after I informed them that at this time of deadly pandemic I use my car to stay safely isolated from any roommates. My words were met with dead uncomfortable silence. CLEARLY, I WAS BEING JUDGED.

And then, without saying the words, they clearly showed me with their actions that I wasn't wanted in the All About Auto shop. So, if you are any different from the herd, be aware that these " Sunday christians" at All About Auto WILL JUDGE YOU, MAKE YOU FEEL UNWELCOMED, and WILL SHOW YOU THE DOOR. Just as I was.

I worked as a automotive technician for over a decade, I've run shops, owned my own repair company, and done consulting work for other shops. I can spot a shady operation from a mile away. And know a shop that deserves to be recognized when I find one. I've moved on from wrenching so when I dropped my runner off for an alignment I was fully expecting the typical runaround about needing x, y, or z parts and getting the list of leaks I already knew about.

So when I showed up and they had my alignment specs ready for me and had actually performed the alignment how I asked I was impressed. When they then helped me track down a pair of missing tires that had been swapped with different tires (which was not what I had asked for) at a nearby tire shop, I was happy. They made it right on my bill too. This shop is the real deal, does good work, and isn't afraid to own a misunderstanding and then take measures to correct the situation.

It wasn't technically their fault but they still stood by the work they had sent out for. Honesty is the reason I'll be back the next time I don't want to fix something on my own.

My son has been taking his vehicle here for years. I finally took one of my trucks to them for an issue with my breaks. They were very professional on the phone and their diagnostic report was like nothing I've ever seen. It was very thorough and included pictures of items that needed attention. You don't see that from any major car dealership. I will recommend them to family and friends.

Very disappointed. When I got the estimate after dropping my car off the first time they didn't include everything like they said they would, so the price really threw me off when they sent me the other estimates, I still scheduled the appt to get it fixed, after getting my car fixed the engine light was still on and this time it was solid, so I called and told them what happened after it should have been fixed, so they scheduled me TWO weeks out and I told them on the phone when scheduling I had to leave out of town that day at 4pm if they could be finished before then and they said no problem.

I get there I don't even get my car till 5 just for them to call me almost a WEEK later just to tell me they needed to look at it more because I took it home early and they didn't finish testing. so of course i scheduled 2 weeks out again because I'm a person for giving chances when my family and friends told me to stop going here, just for them to finally say they made a mistake and missed something else that needed to be replaced along with the other thing they replaced, so they only charge me the difference but still totaled to about 1500.

And of course they have to schedule a week out to replace it again after a week of waiting for the estimate. It seemed like they just shrugged me off and that it wasn't important. I finally get my car back and this is probably the only real coincidence that happened while it was there was the starter decided to start making noises which they didn't say anything until I turned my car on from picking it up and heard it so I had to walk back in and ask someone to take a look for them to say "oh I forgot but last night the starter started making noise". It's been a couple weeks now and I go to check my oil and the hood won't open.

How many coincidences/mistakes can there be? So I swing by, they check it out and not even 5 min later they send me away to someone else or say they can charge me 115/hr. on something that they most likely caused. So I didn't go where they recommended, I went out to Clackamas to a place I could trust and they squeezed me in, fixed it in 30 min, and called me and told me they fixed it and it looked like someone had done work on it recently and took a part off and didn't put it back on right and the cable got unattached, so they reconnected it and charged me about 60 bucks on something all about automotive should have fixed. Will not be back here.

The office crew of Karen, Mallory and Shawn and the shop mechanics are all awesome and did a great job repairing many things, both big and small, after my truck was stolen and recovered. They worked well with my insurance company and communicated with me. I will always use AAA when I need a repair done well, quickly and for a fair price!

Will not go back. We spent over $6,500 having work done on our car over a 2 year period to then be told we needed a new engine. Many times we still had the same issue after paying to have it fixed. Yes they would have us bring it back after calling them, but that is extra time I don't always have. I was happy with the All About Automotive admin staff, just not the mechanic(s). We found another mechanic that we are very happy with and who is less expensive.

2 Days after shipping a car to someone in Gresham, the engine died, much to my horror. I looked for the closest car repair shop that had good yelp reviews and was fortunate enough to identify All About Automotive. I had the car towed there (by their recommended towing company), and they meticulously investigated the cause of the problem. Unfortunately, the engine had seized and was unrecoverable. However, fortunately, the manager took the initiative to research problems with that engine and found that there was a recall on it due to chronic problems. So, by the time she called to give me the "bad" news, she had already contacted the dealer to find that they would replace the engine under warranty if I just get it over to the dealer.

The diagnosis that they spent time on cost less than the original quote, the towing company they recommended left the bill with All About Automotive, so I only had 1 bill to take care of before towing the car to the dealer for a brand new engine. They were pleasant, professional and very helpful, especially since I was not local so had to do everything by phone. I would DEFINITELY recommend them for technical competence, integrity and customer satisfaction.

I'm traveling the states in my sprinter van I converted and needed new brake pads on the back wheels. Usually do most work on the van myself but when you're traveling sometimes it's easier to let a shop handle things. After about an hour or so of being the only customer there they came to me with an estimate for $1200 wanting to change or service all of the calipers along with the brake pads.

She went into a long speech about how it was super hard to find the parts and I'm lucky she found them. I'm not saying they were trying to get over on me but they definitely should have gone about the process in what I would consider a less forceful manner. Why couldn't you just perform the work I did asked for and not shove unnecessary options in my face.

I went to a local shop in hopes of a straight forward deal. Turns out just one of the back pads is worn. The next shop changed the back pads and suggested just a new caliper for the one back side. Calipers are usually life long parts on vehicles. They gave me the not so worn pad to swap out if the same side keeps wearing and serviced the caliper a bit to hopefully not wear out the pad so quick.

The team was fantastic. An oil line on our Lexus sprung a leak, spewing oil everywhere. They got us right in, gave us the estimate, got the part and repaired it, all within 24 hours. Then, they called us the next day to make certain we were satisfied with the repair! Thank you so much, Steve.

The "check engine" light came on in my 2001 RAV 4. I called All About Automotive and they assured me that it wasn't an emergency, as long as it wasn't flashing. They were able to get me in, get it checked and get the part needed on the same day, at a reasonable price. Thanks Karen and Steve and your crew!

What an amazing shop! Great owners and wonderful staff. They found the issue on my car and instead of replacing the part with would cost me 3800$. They offered to service it for 200$! It solved my issue temporarily. But at least I am still driving and part is not completely worn out. So thanks for looking into my glitch and thanks for checking out reviews of other mechanics who dealt with the same issue before. The shop closed on weekends so if you need to rent a car. Use Budget. Super fast cheep and friendly.

100% Disabled veteran here. My engine went out in my pickup and these folks were more than happy to help me out, after all I was only receiving 80% benefits at the time so I borrowed the $$k from family to rebuild/engine replacement. Yeah I forgot to mention it was a 4cyl 22re Toyota motor out a early 90's Toyota pickup. So if you have anything more complicated start digging deep!

Well after about $3k later I made it from WA state to California. Then the engine blows. An internal bolt was not installed causing resistive oil burn to the point it needed another engine.again. So dont make the owners Harley payments!

I brought in my Toyota Yaris this morning, complaining of squeaking brakes. I told them to also check the alignment. They did a total-car inspection--of everything--which they said they do for all new customers (me). Obviously, less-scrupulous firms might use this as an excuse to flag unnecessary issues for repair. Nope. In fact, when they called me and said the car was ready (only a few hours after I brought it in), they said the brakes were fine!

They did do the front alignment (which I knew was needed), for the price they'd quoted, but they said the brakes didn't need anything. Maybe some dust/dirt had gotten in and was making the squeak. They gave me a point-by-point report of all of my car's systems, and recommended that I pay attention to the tire tread. Who has integrity like this? I'll definitely be using All About Automotive in the future.

All About Automotive is a real blast from the past. I don't know if you can remember taking a car to the corner car repair and they actually fixed things right the first time, gave you a very fair price, and stood behind their work. Well All AA is one of those rare places. Old fashioned customer service, honest, and very, very professional in every way is the way they do business. Do yourself a favor and give them a try!

Fantastic shop, great estimates and recommendations for services that should be performed. None of the "I'm glad you came in bc your car won't make it another mile without fixing.". They over estimated the repairs needed on both of my cars, and within 24 hours I had a full inspection and repairs completed! Great and friendly staff, emailed me a list of the recommended repairs and an estimate and made my visit very stress free!
