I should have read the reviews before I took my vehicle in as it has been a few years since I have been here. Previously I brought my car in with no issues and great customer service. My engine light was on this morning and having issues driving my car. Dropped my car off this morning and received a text stating the issue and the price. I consented and gave my signature. Received a text a few hours later that my car was ready for pick up.

I went in the office to pay my bill with a debit card. I tap my debit card and I notice the amount I paid was $83.00 more then the amount I had given my signed consent for. I notified the gentleman at the register and he said he would give me the difference. He consulted with another man ( I assume a manager) and he stated I would receive the money in about 3 days.

I told him that would not work as I was leaving town and needed it now before I left. The manager said, "I would have given it to you, but you are rude." I said, " I will not leave until I have my refund." I said, I did not make this mistake and I need my refund. He finally agreed to go into the back and give me the refund in cash. He brought it out and threw it on the counter.

I picked it up and said, I need my key. He placed the key on counter and I asked where my car was parked and he said "GO FIND IT YOURSELF!" I asked him why he is being so rude since they made the mistake not me and he said, " I am not rude" and I said I have your reply recorded and he said, " I don't care". NEVER TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!

Just when I was ready to give up and throw in the towel. I had been to one too many places that only cared about separating you from your wallet. AND when 90% of the shops in Phoenix have the audacity to be closed on Saturdays? When we need them most? Then I walked into Kerry's. Open early Saturday morning, welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, caring. Keith looked at my vehicle right away.

After determining I needed a new part, I didn't have time to stay for the repair. However, Kerry's made my car drivable. I got my wallet out and braced for the bad news. It never came. Free of charge, he said. As Keith as my witness, I shed a quiet tear. My faith in stellar customer service and in some solemn way, my faith in humanity had been restored. Thanks, Kerry's, you're the best!

Super professional and polite, fast response time. AAA brought my car in 5 minutes before closing, and they still took all my information down and fixed my car in two days despite having a lot of cars in their garage. Keith was extremely helpful with my dad and I and kept us updated and informed along the way!

This place is horrible. They offer towing but then send an outside company that they contract and make a commission from. They charge almost $300 to tow my vehicle and did nothing to the car until I paid for the tow fees. On top of that they wanted to charge storage fees when they don't even have a safe area to keep the cars in. The vehicles are left outside in the parking lot of the strip mall where they are located.

They didn't even do a diagnostic test to see what was wrong with the car. I have never heard of paying for services before they are done at a mechanic shop. It is all about how much money they can get from their customers. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. They treat their customers with NO RESPECT and they are inconsiderate about our needs.

I will be reporting them to the BBB and the Attorney General's Office to try to recover my money. Please don't do business with this company and if you do expect the worst experience you can imagine of a car repair shop. THEY ARE THIEVES. STAY AWAY.

I used to take all my vehicles for oil changes here due to the convenience of their location. I have two business vehicles, and my personal vehicle. I'm 100 % convinced that they do not change oil on vehicles or that when they do, they don't do their job correctly. One of my business vehicles had an oil change last month, today I received a warning of low oil on that same vehicle.

There is no leak on that vehicle. There is no reason it shouldn't have any oil, other than they didn't do their job during the oil change. Prior to this incident today, On Thursday, May 12th I took my truck in for an oil change in preparation for a trip to Payson on Friday, as I drove back from Payson my truck began to smoke like crazy on the highway.

I pull over and realize there was a large amount of oil all under my truck and now on the ground where I pulled over. To my disbelief, the oil plug was gone/ completely missing. This only occurs when the plug is not tightened with the bolt correctly. I was now stuck on the side of HWY 87 needing a tow all the way back to their shop with hopes that my engine was not ruined.

They looked at the truck and did the oil change again. After the incident today with my business vehicle, I don't believe my truck or any of my vehicles were properly handled. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE, DON'T TRUST THEM. There are hundreds of good Auto Shops around, go somewhere else. I'm no longer concerned with the convivence of their location.

As owning two European cars I know that dealerships and car body or auto shops take advantage of foreign cars putting a ridiculous tax on parts which shouldn't cost more and they use poor judgment on customers that wouldn't think anything of it. This auto body shop is by far the BEST and ONLY shop I take my BMW and Mercedes to! Flawless work saving me money without going to a dealership spending a arm and a leg but to make it even better with a 5 year warranty! Happy customer service, Andy is the man! I highly recommend!

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE! Horrible communication from the start and they'll rip you off! Check engine light came on with my 2018 Ford Fusion and Autozone said it was a P0456 code which is from the EVAP with a very small leak. I did the mistake on bring it here since I lived near by. They charged me $300+ for a smoke test and a diagnostic test.

I dropped it off on a Friday around noon and they called me at 5:30pm saying its ready for pickup. They said it was a simple issue and that they just replaced a 4inch hose. Well what do you know my check engine light turned on again a few days later so popped the hood and noticed a worm clamp on both ends of my air intake tubing was completely loose.

Either way we took it in, explained what we noticed and that the light was on. They said they think it was probably the clamp and reset the code for me and said if it comes back to bring my vehicle back in. Well GUESS WHAT, IT TURNED ON AGAIN! Brought it back on a Saturday at noon and didn't hear from them at all on Saturday until Monday only because I called them.

They NEVER did any customer updates or follow ups in fact they were horrible at them! I had to keep calling them for updates on my car. On Monday (today actually 3/28/2022) I called them at 10:30am requesting an update on my car that I dropped off on Saturday at noon and a gentleman said "oh yes we have a technician working on it still and we're hoping it should be done soon they just can't get a clamp to keep close it keeps opening for some reason but we'll call you this afternoon!" what kind of BS update is that!?

Like you're seriously telling me a technician can't close a clamp! Well no one calls me in the afternoon so I had to call AGAIN at 4pm to see if my car is ready. They put me on hold to supposedly check then got back on the phone to say "we'll call you back we don't want you on hold too long!" They called me back 15 mins later with a completely different diagnostic!

Now saying its a purge valve to the engine that needs to be replaced for $380+ I SAID NO THANK YOU I'LL TAKE MY CAR ELSEWHERE AND TO HAVE MY CAR READY FOR PICKUP! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE or if you decide to go at your own risk STAY AWAY FROM ANDY!

I took my vehicle to them to have the check engine light code checked. I had already done this with Auto Zone. I show them the paperwork from Auto Zone but they told me they didn't trust that. It would cost me $167.00 to have all the possible codes read and pin point the actual real problem. And this price was because I had a coupon for a free Check Engine light code read. WOW. $167.00 free coupon.

After writing 6 hours and paying $900.00 to have all the codes fixed and end my problem. The very first time I tried it. I had the exact t same problem. They had fixed absolutely nothing but charged me for parts I probably didn't really need. When I went back they told me that I was informed I may face other issues down the road. Yet when I picked it up.

I was told I was good to go. They would not validate their warranty but were willing to take another look and charge me for whatever else they could find. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO ANY OF Kerry's Car Care locations, unless you really enjoy being overcharged for work not being done.

They completely left off all my exhaust bolts. Never bolted up the brake lines, and also put a used gas tank on my car when we more than clearly told them numerous times we wanted a new one. Was supposed to be a one day job and took two weeks. Do not use this place!

I had a scheduled oil change at Kerry's today, and it was recommended that I replace the air filter and serpentine belt. Keith and Devin were very quick to let me know what was needed and how long it would take. It was a great experience, and I'll definitely be back for future oil changes and repair needs. Thanks, guys! Services: Oil change, Engine repair

Kerry's on 43rd used to be a reputable shop, but today is the last time I spend my hard earned money on a business that is less than honest about the work that needs to be completed and the time it takes to do said work. I had a 7am appointment for an oil change. Within 15 min. or so, the guy at the desk physically shows me that oil is leaking from where the gasket and oil pan connect.

He states that I will need a new gasket and that it is a 4 hour job, and the cost with my full synthetic oil change would be $750.00. He then offered me a Lyft ride home, which I declined as I preferred to walk the mile and a half and get some excercise. I didn't prefer to walk back, so my husband dropped me off around 9:45, when I also asked the guy if they honored a military or veterans discount.

He replied yes. I was thankful for that being it was a costly repair. LIE #1- After sitting in the lobby for a bit, the guy mentions that my car won't be done until 5pm, and again.offers me a ride home. Naturally, I was surprised by this because earlier, he had told me that it was a 4 hour job, which would have put me out of there by 11:30am.

I was then told that it takes time for the sealant to cure, so that's why it couldn't be done til end of day. I asked him to just finish the oil change, and I would get the repair done on a different day. LIE #2- Since they hadn't even started on my car at that point, he asked when I would need my vehicle. I told him that I needed to be to work by 3:30.

In an effort to "save the sale", he said that they were waiting on the part (gasket) to come in, and because it didn't require the sealant, they would have my car ready by 2pm. I went out for a smoke, and watched the technician take the oil pan off and set it to the side at 10:28am. So.it took about a half hour to take the oil pan off. After not hearing anything from the desk guy, or seeing a parts guy deliver the gasket, I walked over and ask the tech if it needed the gasket or if it was just prior sealed with sealant only.

He replied that there was no gasket, just sealant. Now. I was even more curious, because nobody came to tell me that, and had I not inquired, would have never known. LIE #3. I kept an eye on my oil pan sitting there for about an hour, then around 11:30 decided to have lunch at a neighboring restaurant. Maybe this was the curing time he talked about?

I walked back from lunch around 12:40 and saw the tech putting the oil pan back on. Around 1:40, the tech brought up the work order with my keys to a different guy at the desk than I had previously been working with. Here comes LIE#4- When he said my total was $759, I asked him about the military discount that was previously discussed, and he said that it had already been applied.

According to my receipt, the only discount I received was the coupon I brought in for my full synthetic oil change. Then I argued why I should have to pay for the hour that they weren't even working on my vehicle, and that the max time online (after researching while waiting) for this specific repair should only take 1.7-2.5 hours max, and they are charging for 4 hours is preposterous!

He also shared his disgust about me asking his tech about the gasket when I should have been sitting in the lobby. He said " We have you on camera". Who cares? Since when is a patron not able to intermittently watch their car being worked on? I guess they are so used to doing a lackluster job and not getting called out, that it makes them furious when somebody actually does. LIE#5 While in the process of paying, he also stated that if their was any issues with it leaking, it would be on me for any repairs because the warranty was null and void because I declined on waiting the cure time for the sealant!

Now riddle me this Batman.how could I possibly decline the cure time on the sealant when I was told that my vehicle didn't require sealant, just the gasket? They refused to give me the owner's information as well. He really should know what these guys are pulling over here. Beware!

On 1/12/2022 I had my oil change done and completed by 630pm that evening. When I took the vehicle home and I have notice that the oil panel protector wasn't put on properly. The panel from the bottom of the kept dragging at the street making all kinds of noise. So I took and dropped off my vehicle back to shop around 630 am 01/13/2022. I am not a happy customer.

And the phone number on the web one can't leave a message. On top of that the writer wanted to charge me off without an approve services some extra stuff. Then I guess the writer decided to deleted other services that weren't done in the beginning. Finally the manager's writer said the protector bottom was loose is because the parts are old, I said that is a 2017 vehicle. What a mess, don't recommend the shop at all. To many errors! No honoship.

When my husband and I noticed a leak from my car on New Years Eve, we took our 2016 Explorer into Kerry's. Once they gave us the info we needed to understand what was wrong and the work that would need to be done (via phone), he and I went into the shop to talk with the team in person. We were greeted with professional and knowledgeable gentlemen with our best interest in mind.

Since cars aren't my expertise they helped me to understand what the problem was, what the job would entail, and offered additional solutions to help save time and money in the long run. Although the price was unexpected (due to the nature of the problem and the extensive labor), Anthony helped us problem solve. We made informed decisions with input from experienced and well trained techs.

The best service Kerry's offers, aside from the men and women they employ, is their warranty. They stand behind their work, they do it right, and they don't expect to have to use the warranty- because they're that good and their confidence is assuring. Thanks, team. We'll continue to keep you as our first choice in mechanics for a job well done.

This place awesome it's pricey but you get exactly what you for with warranty, I believe his name is Andy he a great help to especially by giving me options given to my financial situation. Your needs are their priority! Thank you Kerry's car care for all your help.

My Fiance brought his vehicle here. Here's how it will go for you too: they tell you that you need one repair $1,600 or so. Then they call you a few hours later, now they actually need to do another/different repair, for even more money. When we finally got the car back, he wasn't driving it a week, before it just stopped working WHILE HE WAS DRIVING.

The mechanic we have been so lucky to find, told us so many war stories about Kerry's purposefully messing up vehicles, when you finally call them out on their BS and refuse for them to do any more fraudulent repairs. We are filing a report with the BBB now that we have seen too many stories from real people on Nextdoor, Google, and here on Yelp. Crooks and thugs need to be held accountable for their actions. They will take advantage of you. Your time is up Kerry's you messed with the wrong veteran.

I brought my truck in 2 weeks ago to get my breaks fixed, they stated my front rotors needed to be resurfaced and needed new brake pads, I had just changed them out 2 weeks prior (brake pads), I said ok I was embarrassed of my 2018 Silverado squeaking every time I went somewhere, needed it to be repaired. I pick up the truck after they repaired it and my brakes still squeak.

I took it back and now the back brakes need to be repaired, to the same extent of the first repair. This type of negligence can not be tolerated, I don't have the time to be bringing my truck in every week because they can't figure it out the first time and neither should anyone else. And to top it off I asks for the pads I installed back to return them and they lost them.

I picked my truck up yesterday and they left hand prints over my truck, I don't recommend Kerry's to anyone, I have had multiple issues in the past with my other truck as well and this is my breaking point. You've been warned don't waste your money one their terrible work with dealer prices.

I am amazed at the lack of care and attention Kerry's team has for it's customers vehicle and personal belongings. I dropped off my car on Thursday and had to grab something from my car today just to see that everything in my center console had been thrown around and my glasses were stolen. I attempted to work with Devlin - the manager; to get the issue resolved just to get greeted with a shrug to say "oh well". Devlin was not helpful and made it a point to remind me they're not responsible for any loss or damage that happens to the vehicle rather than resolve the issue.

He was very rude and from my experience I don't recommend Kerry's for anything car related unless you're looking for frustration, waste of time and money. P.S. I downloaded Yelp for this one review.

These people don't care about their customers! I've been to Kerry's Car Care in Glendale 3 times now, and each time I was left extremely frustrated. The FIRST time I came in to get an oil change and full inspection. They did that no problem- and no problem on the major bill for what is at most places a complimentary inspection The SECOND time I came in and said okay- do the repairs you said needed to be done during the inspection.

Well SOMEHOW, they lost my entire file! The only reason I had come back was because they were the ones who knew what was going on with my car! So what was that expensive inspection for? After I explained what I could remember of what needed to be done and left (easy things- a filter change and air in the tires, plus an anti-rust coating on the bottom of the car if there was time- which they assured me there was) I received no contact for the next day.

When I called in to get a shuttle in the morning, the guy showed up an hour late! Now here's the kicker- when I got there, they hadn't even touched the car! They had an extra day to work on these "easy" fixes that they had told me would be done the day before! And my car hadn't even been looked at! Shame on me for trying these people again, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.

So the THIRD time I came in I dropped off my car two days before I needed it and said that I wanted anything that could be done before Wednesday at 7. They said okay, we'll take care of it. After two days not being able to use my car, I take an Uber to the shop (I will never trust their flakey shuttle service again) and stand outside with several other ladies waiting for the doors to open- even though it was after 7am (when it says the place is supposed to open) and there were a bunch of mechanics walking around us to the garage.

No hello, good morning, nothing. Just total silence while several women are waiting outside in the heat for the doors to be unlocked. So, giving this place the benefit of the doubt, I go in to pick up my car. I had hoped that- being as it had been there two days- at least the simplest and most important things would have been worked on (the flat tire and air filter).

Stupid me, thinking these people were at all competent or considerate of their customers. After TWO DAYS of zero contact from these people and trying to make do without a car, there was STILL NO WORK DONE. NEVER AGAIN!

My wife took her Jetta in because it wasn't running quite right. When they called with the diagnosis they wanted to charge her around $1,000 for a cracked spark plug! Kerry's Car Care location 28211N North Valley Pkwy, will take advantage of anyone they can, especially if you are a woman or don't know better. If I could rate them in the negative I would! They aren't looking for long term customers they are just trying to make a quick buck. I encourage Kerry's Car Care to reach out and make it right.

-5 stars Kerry's on 43rd and Olive, they do work without your approval. My boy went for an oil change and got charged $318 for oil change, filter, radiator flush, new coolant and a new cap. SMH I went in and gave them a piece of my mind. They said that there is nothing they could do because they were only taking care of the vehicle. My son never got a call to approve the work. Andy was the "manager " I spoke to. Very poor customer service. He got upset, even slammed his hands on the counter because I told him I was going to write this review. If I could I would rate negative stars.

Took my wife's car for an oil change, while in the waiting room Technician/Mechanic called me to the counter. He proceeds to show me a really bad air filter, says that it needs to be replaced. I declined, i can replace it myself for cheaper and no labor. The air filter showed to me was bad, like really bad. Immediately after leaving, I went straight to AutoZone to purchase the replacement.

Get home and start removing the filter, my daughter comes outside and asks what I'm doing, I said Kerry's advised that i need a new filter. She laughs, dad we I changed the filter about 6 months ago. I pull out the one in the car and guess what, it was NOT the one they showed me, its still "Clean" with little to no debris. I am glad I decline all service's. Makes me wonder if they actually changed the oil or did they just reset the computer.

Phenomenal experience! Updated (12/15/2020) I went again to get a degrease done on my Honda as there was some oil spill on my engine. After I got my service done I had some other issues that Andy, Jason, and TJ were able to help me on. They did such a fantastic job, going above and beyond, that my car continues to run astoundingly! I can not recommend these people enough!

Great service and a great customer experience From (3/18/2020) - I went in for an oil change but appreciated the feedback from John as I got preventative maintenance done on my Honda and meanwhile certain prices seemed out of my price range they were able to price match with other vendors in the area for my spark plugs and even give me a student discount.

The honest service here keeps me coming back, there's no feeling of being sold on unnecessary maintenance as there is always a reason they point out an issue to you. At the end of the day you decide what you want done. The shuttle service for people with just one car is also a bonus. Honestly it's hard to come by auto shops that don't want to rip people off, so Kerry's is a definite go-to. This has been my experience so far and I'll keep going for my oil changes as they do a wonderful and reliable job.

This seemed to be the place to go when we first moved to the area. Service was good and prices were fair. The past few visits have proved otherwise. It seemed like every visit there were thousands of dollars of additional work needed. One time, what started out as a simple oil change would have been a small fortune with everything else they suggested doing. The latest bill was almost $500 for a sensor. Where other shops subtract the diagnostics, Kerry's adds it in to the bill.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. If you have a choice make the right and smart one by NOT taking your vehicle here. Unfortunately I did and I got my suv back in worse shape and the issues weren't even fixed. I have pictures and video of liquid all over my engine, battery and top of the hood and gloves being left in the engine. Like who does that?

How are these people even still in business. They have no clue what they're doing and just want to ass rap you with "labor" costs. Don't waste your time or do and get screwed. UPDATE::::::: Leah if you're reading this that is the phone number to the store. Which won't resolve anything because that's who I've been dealing with this whole time. Can I get a managers number or somebody of importance who can fix this problem?
