Scott Gove Engineering (SGE Racecars) owner Scott Gove began racing in 1990 on the local level - bracket racing a 1966 Chevelle with a 283-cubic inch small-block and a 4-speed transmission. Like everyone, Scott started out small and simple - just to have some fun. It wasn't long before he was addicted to the sport of drag racing and started moving up to faster and more challenging classes. Without extra cash to devote to the purchase of quality racecars, Scott took on the challenge of learning to build cars for himself.
We will be expanding this catalog in the future and possibly adding an on-line order form for components. We will also be adding downloadable worksheets for your convenience in collecting the measurements we need to provide estimates and build components to your specs. Listed below are just a few of our items and services offered.

Might be the most honest mechanic/person I've met. Came up here on vacation and experienced car issues. Was told by locals to see Scott. Boy was I impressed with the service. He is a very knowledgable mechanic. Diagnosed the issue quickly and did what he could to help us out given our particular issue. Really appreciated his help. If I lived closer, I know who my mechanic would be.

Been going here for a long time. This last trip I was charged for the core charges on 2 parts totaling and extra 90$. Even though we all know core charges are reimbursed. Also they told me I had rusty brake lines, proceeded to say all four disc brakes calipers and rotors would be needed to change the lines. Quoted me 1600$ for the job lol. This was all a lie, my brake lines are rubber and the rotors are a year old. They will charge you what they think they can get out of you here at SGEngineering
