We were a young couple who desired to start our own business but more importantly we wanted to have a family. Looking back, how we got into the business is comical: Jim couldn't find a job using his BA degree in psychology from the University of Denver so he gladly accepted an offer from a friend who had an MA from the Art Institute in Chicago turned mechanic to teach him the trade.
Teaching a trade is a generous and commendable act and we are grateful. In 1980, after learning the trade, Jim was asked by a co-worker if he wanted to start a partnership and open an independent Saab garage.

Addison Auto is a great shop! I had an oil leak, took my baby to the local dealership for diagnostic and possible repair. The dealer quoted me $5k to fix replace several leaky gaskets. Cue Addison - I sent them my dealer quote, and they came back less than half! Staff was very communicative and let me know what was up at every opportunity. Best of all, not only is my car fixed, but has a 2y/24k mile warranty on their repairs. Finally! A full service shop I can trust. Thanks Addison Auto, and especially Tom, who did my repairs.

My experience at Addison Auto Repair exceeded my expectations. Every employee interaction that I had was stellar. I want to shout out Jake for his exceptional customer service and compassion. I was updated almost weekly on the status of my car and had all of my questions/concerns addressed. He really took the time to keep me in the loop and took so much stress out of the whole experience. My car looked brand new when I got it back and I am beyond satisfied. I would recommend Addison a thousand times over!

I will not take my vehicles anywhere else for repairs. These guys are fantastic! They are reasonable, they're communicative, helpful, and do great work. My vehicle was in bad shape due to 2 separate car accidents over the fall of 2021 and the people at Addison went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. I recommend them to all of my family, friends and clients. Thank you guys for fixing up my Kia and going the extra mile for me throughout that month!

Addison Auto did a great job fixing my vehicle after it was rear-ended. They worked seamlessly with my insurance and the car rental to make sure that I was taken care of. Marly was my service rep and she was fantastic. I also had great interactions with the front desk. The work has been completed for a couple weeks now and looks perfect. I definitely recommend.

Jake with Addison Auto has been my go to guy for the past several years. Anytime my car ends up in a rough spot, Jake is able to get the car fixed and back to me as quickly as possible. My experience at Addison Auto has always been pleasurable and I will continue to come back for years to come. Additionally, when a coworker was rear ended in December 2021, I quickly told him to call Addison. He just got his car back and was overjoyed by the friendly staff and quality of the work. I was introduced to Addison Auto Repair due to a collision in need of repair since they have a partnership with SF. They were excellent all around from the first phone call to handing my keys back today. Communication and customer service from everyone there was tremendous and consistent. Fantastic experience. Diana at the front check in area was a pleasure to deal with and very efficient at getting us scheduled for needed repairs. Marley kept us informed as to when our vehicle would be ready and made many calls to procure parts needed and getting them in a timely manner. She performed her job well above and beyond to get our repairs completed. Tony who did our estimate was also great at his job.

All of the employees at Addison are awesome and super helpful. Diana at the front desk is very sweet and went out of her way to help me out when the rental car company didn't come through. Seth did a great job explaining what work needed to be done to the car and kept me updated throughout the process and my car was finished by the promised date. He even had some of his guys in the body shop fix a minor issue for me that wasn't related to the accident. I would highly recommend this business both for their customer service and the work that they do.
